My favorite RC plane guy. He’s cool, not a dork like most of these guys. He doesn’t try to be a comedian either. His videos are enjoyable and informative.
The fact an actual jet was flying close by when you did the low high alpha pass was cool. The audio matched up for a moment. This feels like a basic entry level jet for sure. Thanks for the showcase
Just maiden mine today. A bit sluggish. I guess im to used to my 6s edfs. Going to use the motor from xfly thats capable for 6s on a 64mm. Hopefully it makes it more lively
Hello, if I buy this can I connect it to any radio? Or does it have to be a spectrum? (I am a complete beginner) greetings from one of your biggest fans.
This plane is a plug-n-play, you can use it with whatever radio as long as you have a compatible receiver with your radio. It doesnt come with a receiver
Asking this question suggests this plane is not for you just yet. As Jay explained in this video, this is a perfect plane to get into RC Jets, after you have mastered flying regular RC propellor planes.....
At the field I fly, I see this a lot-70 mm F-16s bending and breaking gears. It can be difficult to land, particularly because its rather narrow landing gear (think Spitfire). It, too, can do wing tip overs if you turn sharply on the ground.
Hi Jay! I'm thinking about buying an entry level plane at some point, and currently looking at this one and the FMS 1220mm Ranger EP V2, which you also recommended as a great option for beginners. Between the two, how would you say the difficulty compares, as well as their capability? I really just don't want to buy in and realize in retrospect that I would have had more fun / be able to grow more with the other option
Jay, you introduced me to the hobby a little over a year ago! Many planes and tons of fun later, I’m so glad I stumbled on a video of a dude with a bit of an accent flying RC Planes. I was hooked bro 😎 😂🎉
Sweet flying and filming. This thing is great value! You mentioned programming the reflex gyro v3. Is it just a simple procedure of punching in the safe angles in your settings? Does that mean the AS3x on the reflex v3 gyro is automatically set for this jet. Thanks
Reflex V3 gets put in the way it shows in the manual. A set way, and than you open the app and all the gain settings are there! The gain settings will be different on the V3 from AS3X but you can play with them from the app which makes it super simple. I’ll make a video about it eventually !
Hey jay I have been flying for a few years on my DXS transmitter. I can not currently afford a new transmitter and would be beyond grateful for an opportunity if you follow through will giving away an old transmitter. I’m unaware of how that would work but would love to participate. Thank u for the TikTok and TH-cam content I love watching
You can run batteries down to 3.3v without an issue. Idk why everyone stops at 3.8. That's only using half the battery. Also everyone does slow speed stall test. The stall that bites is an accelerated stall. Because you can stall at any airspeed. And jets dive uncontrollably fast under an accelerate stall. Which is the kind of stall you should be practicing so you know what not do to. As you can see from all these different plane reviews, slow speed stall is no thing

The first video I saw that you came out with I got into the RC airplane, hobby
Ha! Same. I just stumbled on a video of his and couldn’t stop watching. Bought my first plane about a week later and never looked back! Love it.
I’ve been flying RC plane since I was sick because my neighbor flies them now I have three of my own
you make it look easy. Cool flying!

Actually, SAFE needs 100% rates or else it makes 1/4 mile turns. SAFE has bank angle limits anyway. Unlocked, you can set max ailerons at 90 degrees.
I have also snap flaps and high alpha configuration (ail+ele). Everything works great but it’s not needed. She flies awesome as she is 👍🏼

@@rudivanrooijen7611 OK thanks.
Thanks for the Demo Jay
That F16 flies great with SMC 4s 2800 , clean no gears ❤❤❤❤❤
You fly really well. Normally on see your shorts. This is my first suggested vid of you TH-cam has offered to me. Enjoyed the entertainment.
I sure enjoy watching your videos. Very entertaining and educational. Thanks man. Jay from western oregon.
Got eflite 70mm. Landed with a bounce, bent left landing gear $75 repair Cha ching. Front gear snapped off, $40 repair Cha ching.
Softer landings

Love your vids❤❤❤❤❤
"If i flew this already it would have scratches on it" FELT hahaha awesome video man! Love the content as always
Ahahaaa, appreciate you bro!
Which battery can I put in it at max? How long flight time can I expect on it?
YES G MAN

Ahaha!! Love it, thanks man! Glad your having as much fun as me 😂👏🏼
Gregj seems to need it after flying for years
flipping nice plane 👍👍👍😀😀😎😎
Looks like the real thing when it’s in the air.
I have the 70mm Eflite version that I don’t fly much because of the landing roll where I fly. I think a 64mm might be a better option.
What are some tips for flying in SMALL areas
Id crash that thing man...😊❤ great stuff bro😊
I have the eachine mini p51 mustang
Nx10 would be awesome 👌
please do a video on a F15 version, i like them more than F16s

@@Jays_rcgarage great and thanks. I look forward to the reflex setup, as i really like this. 64mm f-16.
How does this model fly without stabilization?
Great video. I am expecting the same plane soon and plan to use AR631 with safe and as3x. Please assist me on the forward programming.

I guess this is the best vid explaining forward programming.
🤞
Is it hard to fly cuz ik kinda new and i want to buy this plane
I would really love a entry level EDF Jet !
I'm low on the dough just paid my taxes !
any chance I could jet a jet from you ?
Thanks as always, Jay! The info is always spot on!
How do u make a fpv camera on it can u make a video on it
In flight the fixed undercarriage ruins it's superb looks, & the tailons instead of a full movable horizontal stabilizer.
Flyers used 4s 3200 .. really :-) ❤❤❤❤❤
How much does it cost to
574 SAR
If I may suggest you name the pilot Cptn. McDibbles😂 THIS IS AN INSANELY COOL BEGINNER JET! Love the size of 64mm jets!
Donnelly Plain
Any f16 edf foam jet “not a beginner plane it all “
Lubowitz Mills
I fly a 4000mah in mine.
Definately Not a Perfect Entry Level Jet without the gyro its a handful to fly for a beginner edf pilot. trust me ive flown alot of edf,s
For this, I rather remove the landing gear and hand throw the plane to land on high grass

Give the transmitter away , I can use it in the Caribbean bro . SMS .
