Hi Brian this is Michael , should I spray sunscreen on before I get on the dive boat or should I spray it on when I'm on the dive boat. What are your thoughts about it .
I tend to do it before I ever get on the boat. For one its easier on land, than on the boat, as it will be rocking in the waves. Second, when the boat is moving, the wind can spray the sunscreen on a fellow diver, or worse in his eyes. That's never a good thing.
Guys is search and recovery a PSD thing or is it a shop service because I want a Scuba diving job but I can't do the commercial diver training because of the cost
Hello GimpGunfighter, Search and Recovery is different than Public Safety Diving. Although, we do use our Search and Recovery skills while Public Safety Diving. PSD is more centered around Police Fire EMS Military diving operations for bodies and evidence. Search and Recovery is simply looking for lost items underwater.
It's a search and recovery dive, where you are by yourself. We always encourage you to dive with a buddy, unless you have proper training and equipment to make solo dives.
Its good to have someone who not only has the experience but the knowledge and humility to explain it so a novice can understand
Thank You for the kind words. I'm glad that you find our videos easy to understand.
Well Done and presented.
