I don’t know how you’d rate the amount of bad MCU movies by the rotten tomato score. General consensus shows that a majority of newer Marvel movies have in fact lost the luster of the Infinity Saga. Yes, they’ve had some good ones like Guardians 3 or No Way Home, but Eternals and Marvels and MoM and Love and Thunder and Quantumania exist to really pull it down.
There have been so many dogshit MCU projects since Endgame like Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Eternals, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Thor 4, Ms. Marvel, Ant-Man 3, The Marvels, Echo, etc. The vast majority of Phases 4 and 5 has been awful. The MCU rightfully deserves an A. Any more big misses, especially with the next Avengers movies, and it'll soon find its way in the B tier, maybe even C tier. Only time will tell
I'm going off by movie series that consist of four or more installments (so that excludes The Godfather, Back to the Future, Dark Knight and The Naked Gun) and if I like at least 3 of them (that's why I don't include Terminator) . 1.) *Planet of The Apes* - re-watched all of them this summer in preparation for Kingdom. I think even the lesser ones have interesting concepts and I just enjoy the whole commentary, characters and discussions they inspire. 2.) *Indiana Jones* - I'm a fan of action-adventure and the Indiana Jones character best represents that feeling. While Kingdom and Dial are both flawed, they're decent enough and Indy remains an engaging character throughout. 3.) *Star Wars* - While I've been frustrated by the focus on quantity over quality of late and was hugely letdown by the Sequel Trilogy, my love for the OT, The Mandalorian Seasons 1&2, Andor and Rogue One, gets this series goodwill off those quality installments. 4.) *Alien* - The first two films are the best and classics, while the others all range from above-average to terrible. Yet I still have love for the franchise as the alien creature, in my opinion, is the coolest movie monster ever made and Sigourney Weaver's Ripley remains an iconic heroine. Here's hoping Romulus brings back the franchise back on track. 5.) *Die Hard* - The original is a classic, but the three succeeding sequels (yes, I think #4 is decent) are a fun time. The fifth is better left forgotten, but Bruce Willis's McClane is an iconic screen hero and those first four films are fun action movies. 6.) *Star Trek* - Treks II-IV and VI range from great to good. First Contact, Trek 2009 and Beyond are fun. The rest are a mixed bag and the TNG movies don't equal the OS cast movies, but the characters themselves and the whole universe explored are 7.) *James Bond* - An iconic character that defines espionage, exotic locales, larger-than-life characters and lots of great soundtrack songs. 8.) *Rocky* - Stallone's Rocky is an endearing character as he feels like a metaphor for live: deal with one challenge, face another. We're also given all these great supporting characters throughout. 9.) *Lord of the Rings* - Like SW, I'm mainly about the Original Trilogy. The Hobbit movies have their moments though. Close but didn't make the list: MCU (I like them, but they're not among my All Time Favorite movies), Jurassic Park (they're like my go-to popcorn monster movies), Predator.
S: Spider-Man, Planet of the Apes, Mission: Impossible, John Wick, Middle-Earth, MCU A: Indiana Jones, FoX-Men, 007, Avatar, DCEU, Harry Potter, Fast & Furious B: Star Trek, Transformers, Star Wars, Hunger Games, Despicable Me, Jurassic Park C: (Guess it’s good that’s it’s empty) D: Disney Live Action, SPUMC Haven’t seen: Conjuring
My ranking based on the franchises on this list that I have seen: 12. Avatar (Love the movies just doesn’t compare to the others on the list) 11. Despicable Me 10. DCEU (Like some of the movies but others suck) 9. Hunger Games (Great, just not my favorite) 8. Harry Potter 7. Transformers 6. Star Wars 5. X-Men 4. Spider-Man 3. MCU 2. Jurassic Park 1. Lord of the Rings
For the ones I have seen (I am considering the franchise as w whole not just the movies): S: (MCU), Avengers, Hunger Games, Planet of the Apes. Star Wars A: Avatar, Spider-Man, 007 B: Indiana Jones, Harry Potter(I love the books way more), Kohn Wick, Fox X-Men, Disney Live Action, DCEU C: Fast & Furious(would have been higher if it had stopped with 7)
Ya'll crazy for not thinking that his James Bond take isn't the most controversial. 007 is S tier. Every bond has solid movies, and the worst of them are still a joy to watch, just a little silly. And keeping a franchise alive across 6 leads and 60 years is a huge accomplishment.
Hobbits are amazing, those movies are incredible. They're masterpieces. Truly amazing pieces of art. They took a book and made 3 movies, and in it is amazing acting, amazing music, sweeping cinematography, the action is 2nd to none and the story is so humanized and connectable. I love them, they are disrespected time and time again. That doesn't change how much they mean to me and how amazing they are!
Love the tiers, my minor changes: S TIER - LOTR. MCU - way more hits than misses. Even looking at Phases 4 and 5, there is a lot of great stuff - Shang Chi, Spider Man, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Loki, Guardians 3 A TIER - DCEU. The only real misses were Josstice League, Batman v Superman, and Suicide Squad C TIER - Hunger Games (cannot stand the melodrama but interesting premise, peaked with the first one)
Only the ones I have seen the majority of the films, plus a few extra. Best: Lord of the Rings, Spider-man, MCU, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Kung Fu Panda, How to train your Dragon Great: Mission Impossible, Hunger Games, Planet of the Apes (Modern), Rocky Good: James Bond, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, X-men, John Wick, Pirates of the Caribbean, Matrix, Monsterverse Okay: Terminator, Jurassic Park, DCEU, Avatar Bad: Fast and Furious, Live Action Disney, Transformers, Despicable Me
Surprisingly! Sure, he’s always been positive on most of the movies, that’s always been a thing. But in his most recent rankings where he had Harry Potter competing with other franchises, he’s been ranking the movies really high, especially the highest grossing movie list. I think as he said here though, because he’s been to many Harry Potter events, especially Universal with his kids many times that it’s easy to have more fond of something when you’ve experienced something many times. That’s me with the Super Mario IP. While I’m not a Mario or Nintendo fan, I love talking about it or experiencing those games with other people. Whenever I think about Mario, I think about other people I’m close with.
Enjoyed the list! I think the B tier movies have a wide range because the top movies in that range are great but not legend status. I think your tier list would have benefited with a SS tier. This would have been the current legends, the S tier would have been for past legends, and then A would be for the good franchises.
Nice list! I can't wait to see more franchises into the list. (Jason Bourne, Equalizer, Saw, Amoros perros/21 Grams/Babel, Split/Glass/Unbreakable, Taken, Mad Max, Lethal weapon and others
Saw Deadpool & Wolverine for the 8th time in the theater today. I’m convinced Emma Corrin’s Cassandra Nova is a first tier villain in MCU right up with there with Thanos, Loki (2011-2012), Hela, and Killmonger. Emma is fantastic! Thank you, 1980s Princess Diana! Favorite Songs In Deadpool & Wolverine 1. “The Lady in Red”, Chris de Burgh 2. “Iris”, Goo Goo Dolls 3. “Like a Prayer”, Madonna 4. “The Power of Love”, Huey Lewis 5. “Make Me Lose Control”, Eric Carmen 6. “I’m With You”, Avril Lavigne 7. “Good Riddance”, Green Day I never liked “Bye Bye Bye” but it’s a good usage for that song during the intro. I was 19 when that song came out in early 2000 but wasn’t into boy band music except maybe a couple of songs from Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. “The Lady in Red” is my favorite song when we first see Mary Puppins aka Dogpool because I used to be on CamFrog back in the day circa 2016. We would have girls flash their boobs and that song used to play a lot, or “Gravity” by John Mayer and “Ring My Bells” by Enrique Iglesias. We see Dogpool a second time and then Eric Carmen’s song plays. “Iris” would play for all the gay jokes with that one guy who kept eyeing Deadpool or a shirtless Logan at the end. The fight choreography is pretty decent. The one with Blade, Elektra, Gambit, and X-23 could’ve been better but when “Like a Prayer” plays that first time, it’s quite fun seeing it in one panning shot. I love seeing Deadpool hang on that street light like he’s gay. Blake Lively was never under the Lady Deadpool suit. She only voiced her. I will admit after seeing D&W so many times, I am getting sick and tired of it. A lot of the jokes will not age well in a few years as they’re topical jokes. It’s like Mike Myers in Wayne’s World or Austin Powers and Family Guy. They’re not universal timeless jokes. But there is one scene where I laugh every time. It’s not from one of the cameos. It actually involves Paradox. When he yells: F**K! when he realizes Deadpool and Wolverine are still alive and then “Iris” plays and then you see that one guy who stares at Logan. I also like the scene when Ryan Reynolds goes “Oh my God” right when Wolverine is ready to fight his brother, Sabretooth. History of the World Part I *(**1:37**)* th-cam.com/video/A2IPF4XngRs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9Xdqoi-scnocBuHc There’s these little jokes in the movie that holds up but most people will never hear it that first time and may only remember jokes like “Disney is going to make him do it til he’s 90” or “til your dying deed.” I still smile when Jennifer Garner cracks a joke at her ex-husband. Or when Deadpool says that’s what scoutmaster Kevin used to say. I thought Cassandra said annual box set but she actually said she’s flicking a bean to an Enya box set. The Will Smith joke is funny but that Mangold joke is funnier if you catch it. “Make it stop!” “Mangold tried!” (director of Logan) I pretty much memorized everything about this movie. It’s solid entertainment. A handful of good tunes across several decades. Then there is one scene that isn’t a joke but makes me smile every time. It’s when “The Lady in Red” plays. We own a dog and I love seeing a dog like that running in slow motion while that song plays. “The Lady in Red”, Chris de Burgh (with The Woman in Red scenes) th-cam.com/video/VIKAl9R6Hvo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uDB1GW6U5TAXBzog I love you, Kelly LeBrock! I will never forgive Steven Seagal for raping her.
I am delighted you have Star Trek in there. I've been to numerous conventions and met many of the cast from various shows (my persinal favourite is an autographed photo from both actresses, of me, my ex gf, Terry Farrell, and Nicole De Boer, who respectively played Jadzia and Ezri Dax in DS9 (both ladies are lovely to chat to)
Yes DS9 id my fave ST show. But The Undiscovered Country, and Generations are in my top 20 movies. (I have also had the pleasure of meeting William Shatner, and Patrick Stewart too btw).
Nostalgia aside, Dial of Destiny is better than Temple of Doom. I mean it has a 70% from critics and an 88% from audiences. It’s not a bad film at all.
Too bad they decided to tarnish Lord of the Rings by cynically turning The Hobbit into an EPIC trilogy. You should be more upset about that if you hold LOTR in such high regard.
The fast and furious films for me are s tier because thet brought my family together and are some of the only films that my entire family enjoy together and me and my family recite the lines all the time and these are our go to movies when we want something to watch .I am in love with harry potter so i would probably put that in s tier but i understand your opinion
I find it very confusing you'd put Indiana Jones and Star Wars at A tier but Lord of the Rings at B. If you're putting Star Wars at A, Lord of the Rings should DEFINITELY be A tier.

Back To The Future 2. Indiana Jones (just the trilogy) 1. Star Wars (not counting the sequels, still my favorite franchise ever) HM’s: Rurouni Kenshin, John Wick, Mad Max (I’ve come around on it), MCU (largely Infinity Saga), Pirates, LoTR, Cars, Rush Hour, Bad Boys, Train Your Dragon, My Hero Academia (counting this one is maybe a stretch 😅)
When my grandma knows the release date of the next avatar film as she did when way of water was in the horizon. Then my friend avatar deserves a lot more credit that you gave it hear. I honestly see it as a culmination of James Cameron's career as a director and showcases alot of his trademarks. This acting as his legacy as far as the first three films could be seen since he's only directing the first three.
S: Spy x family, How to train your dragon, Trigun 1998, Cowboy Bebop 1998, Rurouni Kenshin live action, Ip Man 2008 continuity, Violet Evergarden, Jujutsu Kaisen & John Wick. Out of curiosity Sean, what made you put the Middle Earth franchise in B tier but Harry Potter in A tier? I love both franchises, but they both had a legendary run initially, and had weaker movies released later on. They were even released in the same year! I would personally put them in the A tier.
S: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings A: Batman, Spider-Man, Planet of the Apes, Toy Story, The Godfather, Before Trilogy B: MCU, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, DCEU, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Superman, James Bond, Shrek, Alien, Terminator, Rocky, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Top Gun, Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mad Max C: Mission Impossible, John Wick, Bourne, X-Men Universe, Anchorman, Harold and Kumar, Zombieland, Halloween, Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, National Treasure, The Incredibles, The Conjuring Universe, Star Trek, The Hunger Games, Die Hard, Home Alone, The Matrix, Hannibal, Evil Dead, Monsters Inc, Zorro, Men in Black, The Exorcist, Psycho, Rush Hour, Ice Age, Austin Powers, The Chronicles of Narnia, Ocean's, Godzilla, A Quiet Place, Finding Nemo, The Mummy, The Omen, Insidious, Unbreakable Trilogy, The Equalizer, Jumanji, Avatar D: Predator, Saw, Airplane, Transformers, Despicable Me, Fast and Furious, Rambo, Jurassic Park, Jaws, The Lion King, The Hangover, 300, Twilight, Cars, Taken, The Blues Brothers, Friday the 13th F: "Star Wars" Sequel Trilogy
I don’t understand the argument that Avatar doesn’t have a cultural impact. Call me silly, but I’ll use box office as a measurement for how big of a deal a franchise is instead of internet memes and Halloween costumes.
I don’t know if you take recommendations anywhere other than Patreaon but I have some movies to recommend for you to review. 1.) Open Graves from 2016, 2.) Skinwalkers from 2006, 3.) The Forsaken from 2001 4.) Tooth and Nail from 2007 5.) Borderland from 2007 and lastly 6.) Edge of Winter from 2016 Obviously you don’t have to do any of these but I personally feel like they are all underrated horror movies because I’ve never seen anyone do a review of any of them and Borderland especially is really scary to me I can’t watch it unless it’s daytime and I feel like it would be interesting to get a horror buffs thoughts on any of these movies. Either way I love watching your reviews, so keep up the good work.😊😊😊
Lotr in A and MCU in S makes this perfect imo. Hobbit was chaotic and kinda bad, but the original LOTR trilogy is in my top 3 favourite trilogies ever so it has to be A tier. I don’t care what the MCU has been now, we still have at least one good project every year in the mcu. The infinity saga is the most consistent long running thing ever and that alone is top of S tier worthy. Phase 4 and 5 aren’t bad enough to drag it out of the S tier, not with movies like guardians 3 and deadpool and wolverine still hitting
I understand your frustration with the Despicable Me/Minions franchise. Are your kids at least still enjoying them or are they kind of take or leave it by now?
1. Lord of the Rings/Hobbit- Perfect 2. Star Wars- Flawed but great 3. Harry Potter- Perfect 4. MCU- Great for so long 5. Mission impossible- consistent
I like the phantom menace, attack of the clones, I love revenge of the sith, I love a new hope, empire strikes back, return of the jedi. I liked force awakens, I thought last jedi was okay and I hated Rise of Skywalker. I love forced unleashed 1 and 2, jedi Fallen Order and Survivor obi Wan Season 1, Ashoka season 1, I love the majority of Star Wars, the clone wars and rebels
I love Spiderman 1 and 2. I hated Spiderman 3. I liked amazing Spiderman 1. I thought amazing Spiderman 2 was okay. I love Spiderman homecoming, far from home and no way home. I love into the spider verse and across the Spider verse
My top franchises are the MCU, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, and Harry Potter (not counting Fantastic) My worst is the Disney live-action remakes, Fast and the Furious, and Transformers. Oh and Lord of the Rings 😅 Edit: I completely forgot about the DCEU. Easily one of my least favorite franchises ever. Along with the Sony universe. Those two franchises are utterly disrespectful and disgusting
The Disney Live Actions really tick me off sometimes. They feel like they fundamentally misunderstand the originals and feel like corporate hack films imo. Only ones I’d let slide are Cinderella, Jungle Book, and Christopher Robin
X-Men is a film series i plan to watch one day. I have absolutely no knowledge of what it's about, only that i think Patrick Stewart is in it, and obviously as a Star Trek fan i know he is a great actor.
I'd still put The Middle Earth franchise in A. Like for your justification with the wizarding world, The Hobbit movies really didn't tarnish the franchise a lot like how Star Wars prequels & sequels did.
Its sad that i agree with you about Star Wars... Any other day. It would be in S tier for me. But all the bad stuff we've gotten from Disney/Lucasfilm is so difficult to ignore
Honestly I would put the Bond films in either S tier or Legends as they've impacted 3 generations of my family from me to my parents and my grandparents not wanting them because they were too worldy, same with my friends, and Ive enjoyed all Ive seen greatly, save a few, the MCU Id put in the 3rd tier, it really has lost its footing and only a few good onea after Avengers: Endgame (2019). I personally wouldve included Avatar since it only has 2 films and isnt quite big enough quantity wise, but definitely so financially and quality. Tho I must say I was disappointed not to see Spy Kids, any Pixar films, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, MIB The Dark Knight, TMNT and others tho you may have saud the most popular franchises, mabye I missed that, tho I really did enjoy the tier ranking today and always do, I enjoy the thoughtful insight and the hardwork you put into them, tho there are some other changes I wouldve made, I wont list them all since I dont live on youtube, I live at the cinema and The Lego store
I'm surprised the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise wasn't included in this tier ranking. Talk about enormous blockbuster success!

7.) *James Bond* - An iconic character that defines espionage, exotic locales, larger-than-life characters and lots of great soundtrack songs.
S: Spider-Man, Planet of the Apes, Mission: Impossible, John Wick, Middle-Earth, MCU
A: Indiana Jones, FoX-Men, 007, Avatar, DCEU, Harry Potter, Fast & Furious
B: Star Trek, Transformers, Star Wars, Hunger Games, Despicable Me, Jurassic Park
C: (Guess it’s good that’s it’s empty)
D: Disney Live Action, SPUMC
Haven’t seen: Conjuring
My ranking based on the franchises on this list that I have seen:
12. Avatar (Love the movies just doesn’t compare to the others on the list)
11. Despicable Me
10. DCEU (Like some of the movies but others suck)
9. Hunger Games (Great, just not my favorite)
8. Harry Potter
7. Transformers
6. Star Wars
5. X-Men
4. Spider-Man
3. MCU
2. Jurassic Park
1. Lord of the Rings
Marvel is definitely S tier. People act like the post End Game movies are so bad. Guardians 3 was the best one to me and that came last year.
They are bad. A single film doesn’t save a sea of bad films. I liked Guardians 3 as well, but that doesn’t mean it makes it any better.
Because they are bad😂
You missed Ghostbusters, POTC, Shrek, The Matrix, Men in black, Toy Story, Jaws, and many more franchises.
For the ones I have seen (I am considering the franchise as w whole not just the movies):
S: (MCU), Avengers, Hunger Games, Planet of the Apes. Star Wars
A: Avatar, Spider-Man, 007
B: Indiana Jones, Harry Potter(I love the books way more), Kohn Wick, Fox X-Men, Disney Live Action, DCEU
C: Fast & Furious(would have been higher if it had stopped with 7)
James Bond for me would be s tier ranking. Most films are rewatchable for me.
That was easily his worst take. Bond has 6 leads across 60 years and they all have bangers. Even the 'bad' ones are fun to watch, they're just silly.
How could you do a franchise ranking without the best trilogy of all time?!?!? Back to the Future!
Ya'll crazy for not thinking that his James Bond take isn't the most controversial. 007 is S tier. Every bond has solid movies, and the worst of them are still a joy to watch, just a little silly. And keeping a franchise alive across 6 leads and 60 years is a huge accomplishment.
The Despicable Me franchise in the same tier as the Disney live action remakes and the Sony Marvel movies?
.
.
.
Now that’s just despicable.
Sony makes the best Spiderman movies so this statement is ridiculous🤡🤡
It deserves this. Despicable Me is trash.
@@TheTrekkie42 how many of them have you seen then?
D for Disney Remakes, D for Despicable
Despicable me is so good. Y’all are idiots
Love the tiers, my minor changes:
S TIER - LOTR. MCU - way more hits than misses. Even looking at Phases 4 and 5, there is a lot of great stuff - Shang Chi, Spider Man, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Loki, Guardians 3
A TIER - DCEU. The only real misses were Josstice League, Batman v Superman, and Suicide Squad
C TIER - Hunger Games (cannot stand the melodrama but interesting premise, peaked with the first one)
The hate on Hobbit completely threw me off and has me baffled😭
Right I loved the hobbit movies :p lol
Funny how Star Wars and Indiana Jones are both Lucas Films and both past their prime (in the A tier).
I haven’t watched yet but I already know it’s a banger 🔥
I want to give a shout out to the Friday series. Those 3 movies gave us so many funny moments and the culture impact is still showing 20+ years later
Not really
@@Deadnickers you definitely haven’t seen them and it shows
Only the ones I have seen the majority of the films, plus a few extra.
Best: Lord of the Rings, Spider-man, MCU, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Kung Fu Panda, How to train your Dragon
Great: Mission Impossible, Hunger Games, Planet of the Apes (Modern), Rocky
Good: James Bond, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, X-men, John Wick, Pirates of the Caribbean, Matrix, Monsterverse
Okay: Terminator, Jurassic Park, DCEU, Avatar
Bad: Fast and Furious, Live Action Disney, Transformers, Despicable Me
Chandler just casually scratching my OCD itch for lists
I think this is the most glowingly I’ve ever heard you talk about Harry Potter lol ❤
Planet of the apes reboot is one of my fav trilogies of all time. Kingdom was also great as well
Enjoyed the list!
Favorite Songs In Deadpool & Wolverine
1. “The Lady in Red”, Chris de Burgh
2. “Iris”, Goo Goo Dolls
3. “Like a Prayer”, Madonna
4. “The Power of Love”, Huey Lewis
5. “Make Me Lose Control”, Eric Carmen
6. “I’m With You”, Avril Lavigne
7. “Good Riddance”, Green Day
I never liked “Bye Bye Bye” but it’s a good usage for that song during the intro.
History of the World Part I *(**1:37**)*
th-cam.com/video/A2IPF4XngRs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9Xdqoi-scnocBuHc
There’s these little jokes in the movie that holds up but most people will never hear it that first time and may only remember jokes like “Disney is going to make him do it til he’s 90” or “til your dying deed.”
I still smile when Jennifer Garner cracks a joke at her ex-husband. Or when Deadpool says that’s what scoutmaster Kevin used to say. I thought Cassandra said annual box set but she actually said she’s flicking a bean to an Enya box set. The Will Smith joke is funny but that Mangold joke is funnier if you catch it.
“Make it stop!”
“Mangold tried!” (director of Logan)
I pretty much memorized everything about this movie. It’s solid entertainment. A handful of good tunes across several decades. Then there is one scene that isn’t a joke but makes me smile every time. It’s when “The Lady in Red” plays. We own a dog and I love seeing a dog like that running in slow motion while that song plays.
“The Lady in Red”, Chris de Burgh

I love you, Kelly LeBrock!
A very honest ranking in that personal significance is often more important than objective quality
The original trilogy and Rogue One are really the only S tier Star Wars movies.
Nostalgia aside, Dial of Destiny is better than Temple of Doom. I mean it has a 70% from critics and an 88% from audiences. It’s not a bad film at all.
Bruh, other movie franchises are not even 20 percent of what LOTR is. Are you freakin kiddin me?
He’s not a huge lord of the rings fan, but he is a huge fan of Star Wars and Indiana jones
It’s overrated
Interesting video. I know my favorites would be:
10. Rocky
9. X-Men (Im throwing DP and W in here)
8. Mission Impossible
7. Planet of The Apes
6. Harry Potter
5. Evangelion
4. Spider-Man
3. Back To The Future
2. Indiana Jones (just the trilogy)
1. Star Wars (not counting the sequels, still my favorite franchise ever)
HM’s: Rurouni Kenshin, John Wick, Mad Max (I’ve come around on it), MCU (largely Infinity Saga), Pirates, LoTR, Cars, Rush Hour, Bad Boys, Train Your Dragon, My Hero Academia (counting this one is maybe a stretch 😅)
W for Evangelion
Please include the sequels
@@Luke-3281 NEVER!!
😂 Mha > Star wars. Cool list though.
Mha W
OMG lord of the rings in B tier because of the hobbit is criminal
A: Spider man franchise, Demon slayer, Mha, InuYasha, Dcau, Police story, Once upon a time in China & In the line of duty.
B: Nezha reborn universe, One piece & Dragon ball.
I also included shows with atleast one film in their continuity.
If we count MHA, I’d put it no questions in my top 10 😂 good list man 🔥
Most of those aren’t franchises 🤦♂️do your research
I love hunger games, catching fire, mockingjay part 1 and 2
You should definitely do a ranking of the best action sequences of all time. That qould be so cool to have.
Great video Sean, but I thought you would have included Back to the Future, The Pirate movies, Toy Story, Die Hard, The Turtle films and maybe Mad Max. But I do agree with most of your ranking
I like the beauty and the beast, lion king, Aladin, Cinderella, and the little mermaid live action moves.
💩
Can we all agree Sean's favorite franchise is PoTA lol love you man ❤❤😂
Hey, did you forget to include Toy Story, Jaws, and Back to the Future in this ranking? Otherwise, great video as always 🔥🔥🔥
great list and video but i wish you had added batman franchise
22:14: For a second there, I thought he was going to put the 50 Shades franchise on the list
Out of curiosity Sean, what made you put the Middle Earth franchise in B tier but Harry Potter in A tier? I love both franchises, but they both had a legendary run initially, and had weaker movies released later on. They were even released in the same year! I would personally put them in the A tier.
S: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings
A: Batman, Spider-Man, Planet of the Apes, Toy Story, The Godfather, Before Trilogy
B: MCU, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, DCEU, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Superman, James Bond, Shrek, Alien, Terminator, Rocky, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Top Gun, Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mad Max
C: Mission Impossible, John Wick, Bourne, X-Men Universe, Anchorman, Harold and Kumar, Zombieland, Halloween, Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, National Treasure, The Incredibles, The Conjuring Universe, Star Trek, The Hunger Games, Die Hard, Home Alone, The Matrix, Hannibal, Evil Dead, Monsters Inc, Zorro, Men in Black, The Exorcist, Psycho, Rush Hour, Ice Age, Austin Powers, The Chronicles of Narnia, Ocean's, Godzilla, A Quiet Place, Finding Nemo, The Mummy, The Omen, Insidious, Unbreakable Trilogy, The Equalizer, Jumanji, Avatar
D: Predator, Saw, Airplane, Transformers, Despicable Me, Fast and Furious, Rambo, Jurassic Park, Jaws, The Lion King, The Hangover, 300, Twilight, Cars, Taken, The Blues Brothers, Friday the 13th
F: "Star Wars" Sequel Trilogy
Great video! Wish you had some more Horror Franchises like Halloween, Scream , Friday the 13th though 🥲
Dude really put Fast and Furious on the same tier as Middle Earth. Diabolical.
1.) Open Graves from 2016, 2.) Skinwalkers from 2006,
3.) The Forsaken from 2001
4.) Tooth and Nail from 2007
5.) Borderland from 2007
and lastly
6.) Edge of Winter from 2016
Obviously you don’t have to do any of these but I personally feel like they are all underrated horror movies because I’ve never seen anyone do a review of any of them and Borderland especially is really scary to me I can’t watch it unless it’s daytime and I feel like it would be interesting to get a horror buffs thoughts on any of these movies. Either way I love watching your reviews, so keep up the good work.😊😊😊
Did you include Rings of Power in your Middle Earth ranking? (You did mention tv shows for other franchises)
Would you consider doing a horror franchise tier list in the fall?
Loved this ranking Sean! Very spot on!
I understand your frustration with the Despicable Me/Minions franchise.
Are your kids at least still enjoying them or are they kind of take or leave it by now?
My top franchises are The Godfather, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings
1. Lord of the Rings/Hobbit- Perfect
2. Star Wars- Flawed but great
3. Harry Potter- Perfect
4. MCU- Great for so long
🤡the Rey movies are 💩
Even with the multiverse saga, MCU can still argue for S-tier. But I get it tho
I love deadpool 1, 2, and Deadpool and Wolverine
I love Spiderman 1 and 2. I hated Spiderman 3. I liked amazing Spiderman 1. I thought amazing Spiderman 2 was okay. I love Spiderman homecoming, far from home and no way home. I love into the spider verse and across the Spider verse
I don't get why people think The Hobbit films are THAT bad... It should have only been one film, but they're still a lot of fun.
Scream, Evil Dead, the Monsterverse are probably my top 3 franchises. Jurassic Park is a favorite too even though the newer entries are not the best.
My top 5:
1. MCU
2. Spider-Man
3. Mission Impossible
4. Bad Boys
5. Hunger Games
Fantastic vid Sean! I'll tag you on Twitter with mine.
My top franchises are the MCU, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, and Harry Potter (not counting Fantastic)
My worst is the Disney live-action remakes, Fast and the Furious, and Transformers. Oh and Lord of the Rings 😅
Edit: I completely forgot about the DCEU.
@@NinthShinigami agreed. Corporate slop is what I would call it. The only films I enjoyed were Aladdin, Christopher Robin, Cruelly and Jungle Book
Finally someone that considers The Hobbit trilogy as part as The Lord Of The Rings and averaging it out to being not so great
You left out the Batman movie franchise, which is my second favorite movie franchise behind Star Wars.
I like batman vs. Superman, Blue Beetle, Shazam Fury of the gods, Aquarman, Aquarman the lost kingdom
I also liked both sucide squad movies
And I loved the batman 2022 movie
John Wick is my absolute favorite franchise. So much rewatch value and the action is incredible. Easily my favorite- there are no bad John wick movies
X-Men is a film series i plan to watch one day. I have absolutely no knowledge of what it's about, only that i think Patrick Stewart is in it, and obviously as a Star Trek fan i know he is a great actor.
I like bumblebee movie
Great video! But no POTC or BTTF? Oh maybe you didn't make the tier
Similar to this you should do a tier list of the best third acts
The Lord of the Rings has got to be A tier, but other than that, you're spot on
Banger video!
My favorite Movie Franchise is Evil Dead
I'd still put The Middle Earth franchise in A. Like for your justification with the wizarding world, The Hobbit movies really didn't tarnish the franchise a lot like how Star Wars prequels & sequels did.
Should have included Toy Story, textbook perfect franchise
What about the evil dead?
I think it is A
