So cute 😍 This is what I love about your channel you show us everything from unboxing slings to housing to breeding and pulling eggsacks and it amazing so much better than just watching the same old feeding videos that most keepers put up they do become quite boring after a while I mean seeing the same spiders eat once a week yeh takedowns are pretty cool but that's their only content. Dave's Little Beasties is my number 1 channel 💙 please keep giving us the exciting updates and videos
The fact you have British accent and 200% of regular youtuber's vocabulary makes this channel perfect pastime during my linguistics studies. Greetigns from Poland.
Congratulations, Dave and Camera Lady. Cute, little eggs with legs. Love how you so confidently declare that you're glad everyone enjoyed the video 😂. This shows how much you love making these videos. You get so lost in your own enjoyment, that you just assume everyone shares your joy. That's probably one of the many reasons your channel is growing so steadily. Your love and passion comes directly from your heart. You make caring for and keeping spiders so interesting. Another awesome video, Beastie Duo!
Hi Dave, I am so happy for you that everything went so well. Such a healthy P. metallica egg sack, wow, that is a big success! Congrats and keep on going!
Jackson OHIO scardy cat, This is my first time seeing eggs with legs. I got to see all 3 stage's with this beautiful girl. I told my son I was watching your videos, he was shocked, I can't believe it myself. I Thank You all. Take care.
Good Job Dave ! You must feel like a newborn father ...lol No really congrats and good luck with all the future endevors ... I cannot wait until they turn into slings ... I really dig the beginning stage of life for the little buggers !
magical time for the beastie room PROFF, the smile on your face tells a picture and the amazing camera lady will have to count them and pot them when slings. thanks for sharing
I went down the TH-cam rabbit hole a few months ago and discovered the Ants Canada channel and from there, tonight, I stumbled upon this one. Dave, I love your enthusiasm. Good show, old man! :)
Wow, just in time for Father's Day!!! Better than getting a tie as a gift. Unless said tie has spiders on it of course. Hehe! I love baby videos. Congrats Papa!
Hey Dave. Ive been breeding Poecilotheria for some years now. And truly the most difficult one is the P. metallica. The thing is, for some reason they have a very long "carry" period. Where as most poecilotheria start an eggsack a few months after breeding max, with metallica it can take upto 1year. This is why people experience difficulty breeding them, and why 6/7 of your females molted out. Congratulations on the succesfull breeding!
There's much to say about watching someone do something that they love doing. In these videos...especially EWLs ones...that love really does come across. Excellent as always!
Every time I watch an egg sac video I get so excited when I see eggs with legs. Theyre just so frikkin adorable!!! I hope to one day give breeding a go myself so I can experience the process and see them grow from eggs with legs to slings. X
Thank You for returning my interest in the egg sack. I love watching you with your spiders. I was terrified of spiders when i was a child. I understand more now,
ole spidie dad at work.. I always enjoy watching folks that love there job.. Wish I was young enough to come hang out with you for a few days and get a close up view of your beauties.. But with covid and me being to old to travel much.. I hope you don't mind me bombarding you with all of my comments.. I just really am impressed not only with the way you handle your spider but the fact that I have come to really enjoy these creatures.. It won't be long now until I have finished watching all of your old videos.. Though to be perfectly honest they are worth watching again.. Thanks Dave for opening up to me a whole new world.. It is hard to find new frontiers at 70.. Carry on ole chum..
@@daveslittlebeasties It amazes me also Dave.. I never knew such a cool world existed.. I was moving so fast in my youth.. try to experience all I could before I got old. Only to find I missed these beauties all together.. Well Carry on and say thanks to the camera lady for me.. her work is fantastic..
Really pleased Dave especially when u having been trying for so long.as they say best things come to those who wait.great video and thanks for sharing.
You always seem so excited when you find healthy egg sacks. Actually your happier than my husband was when I told him I was pregnant…both times. I’m not kidding. He only gets excited when a baby is in his arms.
to be fair human babies are really easy to reproduce, the species is very very prolific, invasive (basicaly a pest in every environment it invades). There are lierally hundreds of millions being made RIGHT NOW. P. metalica on the other hand is not so common and much trickier to propagate. Egg sacs are vastly rarer than human spawn.
Beautiful. Wishing you good luck with the little ones! I just remember always had fear of spiders, and now got a wolf spider and a tarantula. Somehow i find them interesting! Good to watch your channel, learn more about these animals. Thank you. Have a great week!
Congrats on the successful sac, Dave ! Your effort is one of many that will ensure this beautiful spider stay alive in captivity... even if they eventually turn up extinct in the wild. Not sure why it took so long to put the whole genus on CITES. Hopefully, the Indian/Sri Lankan will develop a breeding program to cater especially for hobbyists, just like the Mexicans are doing with Brachypelma. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Hi Dave She was such a good mom. She did not want to give up her egg sack. Eggs with legs are so cute. Glad that you took out the bad ones, so they could all grow up to slings.🕷🕸Cindy from Florida USA
I learnt a lot from DLB and CAMERA LADIES podcasts, as ive just re started my collection after many years of not keeping tarantula, so for recap knowledge i come here to DLB and CAM LADY🕷🕸🖤 be calm gentle and love your spider's!
Dave, I have learned so much from you. My wife couldn’t even thought of watching a tarantula and after two months watching your videos, she asks me to watch any new ones from your amazing channel. We are almost ready to get our first tarantula. We like the blue ones but don’t know if those are a beginner’s one. Please advise.
Well that amazing my friend so happy your thinking of getting your first Tarantula together, these P.metallicas are not really a beginner spider they can be fast and defensive , you would be better off looking at some of the Brachypelma family these are much slower and gentle spiders and theres lots to choose from 👍👍
I've bred quite a few species of reptiles and frogs and have often found that size isnt always the best indicator of breeding "readiness". Like you said a bit more age makes a difference.
Wow! That is amazing! And look how tickled you are! :) Her enclosure really held up well. How long are you getting with this set up bf they start to need a revamp now, Dave? Can you tell I'm studying this?
