Panamera has been my dream car for more than 10 years. Love the new gen way more than the first. Just ordered one with some options that I considered necessary last week. Can't wait to get this beauty, but just have to until next Spring.

Who says that? No one does. The old generation was ugly but this one is absolutely a true Porsche and it looks beautiful. I’ve never heard anyone saying it isn’t a real porsche.

Great review! Why do you drive with your steering wheel position so high?? It looks like you can hardly see over the top. I have mine all the way down - pointing to my shoulders/chest- not my face. It feels so much better! Seat position looks good though.

Wow just wow that foldable wing is nice very nice,posche always had nice rear end,but that iconic vw bettle looking front and the head shape needs to change,but is getting better,like jeremy clarkson said on top gear,which is the new car having them side by side lol.
Just a clarification,this is not heavy sedan, it is mostly known as sport saloon or super saloon class.

Sorry, I have never driven a Panamera without air suspension yet. Maybe the best idea would be to search one at a dealer which doesn’t have air suspension and request a test ride

I'm glad there's a pure ICE Turbo S!
Love the car but for me, there's one flaw that drives me a little bit crazy - grab handles don't match the headliner! Fortunately, it's spec dependent.
Not a fan of the quad style headlights on the latest Porsches, reminds me of a low grade lamp upgrade you might have done on a 90’s Supra 😂
Damn....I decided to build out my ideal Panamera, how I would want mine spec'ed out by Porsche. Just....Damn it all to hell! Where did i lay that $185K at anyway? Oh well...Aspiration model for me then... tbh..I'd rather own the standard e-hybrid model of the grand tourer/wagon type. Make it in that Carrera metallic white and that lovely 2 tone of saddle brown/black dashboard. I'd take the Panamera over the equivalent from Mercedes Benz! The standard Turbo Panamera over the S class 580! Yeah...you read it right!

But I’ve said it before and I say it again:
There is absolutely NO WAY I’m buying a $200k car without full leather! I love leather, plus I keep cars a long time and it holds up plus maintains my resale value. I currently drive a 2010 Panamera 4s that I bought new...the seats and dash are MINT!
I don’t understand why you are anti leather unless you are also vegan...which I’m guessing you are and even though I’m not I can sort of see the reasons...
But how does that jive with high powered (petrol) sports cars?

In general, depending on the animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat would be the reason no.1 in other cases, the hide remains one of the most profitable body parts. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you accept it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and destroys the environment, you make them more profitable. Also, if you turn the argument around "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize how biased the argument is. After all, would you care for which exact body part you would be murdered? Or imagine someone robs you on the street and beats you to death - would it matter to you if it was for your Smartphone or for your purse?
The animal agriculture industry occupies 2/3 of all farm land on this planet which cannot be used for direct human nutrition then. That is extremely inefficient. The no.1 cause for deforestation is the animal industry. It is also one of the biggest contributor to climate change. The amount of land, resources, energy and water being used is beyond imagination.
For the alternative, you can either use artificial fabrics which can be made from recyclables (we have already shown a lot of vehicles that use great fabric seats from PET-bottles etc.) or more and more also from plant-based materials (like Pinatex). And even if you would create a seat completely with petroleum without a recycling share, the amount of oil being used for that is nothing in comparing just to once fueling up your car.
In practical reasons, fabric or microfibre seats are just more useful. You do not sweat in summer and it is not cold in winter. And if you want the slick look or something to wipe clean easier, that is possible with animal free leatherette.
Using animal skin on seats is a major issue of animal rights, human rights - and after all it is just common sense what is better both for the environment and just more practical and more luxurious for the customer. We cannot change what we have bought in the past (that also counts for ourselves of course!), but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future.

I’m sorry you had this happen, but it does not change my opinion that real leather is superior for car seats. The animals are taken anyway for meat....why waste their skin when it makes for killer car seats?
