Wow someone actually managed to cram a Qo breaker in a homeline panel.
That breaker is for the square D QO panels. Nice find though. It just needs to be replaced with a square D homeline breaker.
IF the bus stab isn't already damaged from arcing. If it has ANY damage, even putting in the proper breaker will allow it to burn up in short order.
I randomly noticed this and here I am...funny how certain things you know just look wrong without really knowing why ~
I guarantee the owner did this. Bought the first square D breaker he found and tried to put it in
Square D QO breaker in Square D homeline panel
IR inspection I find loose breakers all the time. If you scan a 120 panel and any breaker is over 100F either load or line then open and inspect. Find loose stabs all the time on line side.
What about the two cables/cords entering the bottom of the panel and laying on the ground???
That’s definitely not code!!
So what is the remedy?
Yeah, 4 minutes in and I'm realising that there is no fix in this video.
Change out the breaker.
@peteganze6416 ? Literally use the right breaker what do you mean. He said it's an easy fix too. Did you even watch the video
Just change out the breaker.
