LOL! My aunt and uncle have 2 cats now, but on my short holyday abroad in October there was only one cat. They don't have any name plate outside the door so the plate I saw outside a shop «A cat and its staff live here» was a perfect gift for them this Christmas! They will open it tomorrow! :-)
At first I did until one of my co workers gave me a kitten...now I view cats so differently. They are adorable and interesting they don't listen but the cuteness makes up for it lol.

I think there is something unique to orange tabbies that make them so loyal to their owner. I had one for 19 years and behaved in a similar manner. I have not known any other cat species to be so loving. Great video, thanks for sharing.

We just put our old girl down 3 months ago. She was in her last days with renal failure. Have my ginger boy left. We have been heartsick. Then a feral cat had 3 kittens in the wooded area of our property so I have new babies to tend to. But still sad. Sorry for your loss. My fur babies mean more to me than most humans!
You obviously can't replace an old cat but get another cat BEFORE your cat passes away. It will make getting over your loss a lot easier. At least that's what I did now I still have a best friend.. peace

Hi Paul, I have a male cat that is 14 years old. When he was a kitten right up until he was a year ago he was friendly and playful and let me pet him. As soon as he was 1 it all changed. In the thirteen years since then he will not let me pick him up or pet him unless I am sitting down. I have no idea what happened to him or why he changed. But any interaction between us has to be with his rules. Consequently the only time I can pet him is when I am sitting in the easy chair and he will back up and let me scratch the base of his tail or when I am on the toilet(!) and again let me scratch his back. Anything else like nail cutting etc causes a screaming fit. When he was one he also licked all the fur off his belly and inside back legs. I have had him on all kinds of quieting meds etc and nothing but nothing works. He is just a scary cat now but he is mine so he is here to stay. Would you be able to get another kitten and see if that perks up her attitude. Sometimes a little competition is a good thing. Good luck.
When my cat meows at me, i can not help but meow back at her and then we won’t stop even after she was done eating, i love annoying her that way! She will then, eventually give me the look of “will you shut up now?!” On her face! It’s priceless! Then she’ll go hybernate! 😜✌️
Sure! Outdoor cats and feral ones are not necessarily less happy and healthy, but if they're hiding away in dark places, or a cuddly cat is suddenly more aggressive, it always means they should be taken to a vet. They're either in pain and something is so wrong they're hiding away waiting for death.
First of all, that is a GORGEOUS cat. Amazing. Second of all, yay, my cat does all of those things. My tabby mister Plutarchos is my companion and my best friend. I tell people I'm his mom, 'cos he is like a son from another mother. He was homeless for the first three years of his life and then I found him on my door step all madded and hungry. And now he lives like the king that he was meant to be. My motto is "Take everything else but leave me the cat!".
Aww God bless u for doing that for your sweet furbaby. I take care of 3 strays who are family but cant bring them in my house cuz my Mom is afraid. But she does give them water, feed and care for them, God bless her and my Dad, he does too, and even a big family of cats behind a school in the neighborhood. God says to "take care of the animals." She's a lover no doubt.... much like my indoor cat, she doesn't seem to have missed any meals. 😜. Lots of good food will often turn most cats into good adoring pets. I'm currently taking on an outdoor cat I thought was feral and it turns out he has to be someone's former pet! In one week's time he's now in my arms and is a purr baby, trying to come inside. They just need a little love!

What I was trying to say is, this feels more "Mr Mitten is one happy cat!" than "11 signs your cat is happy." I was legit expecting someone to just talk about how to know if your cat is happy, Jackson Galaxy-style, being a cat owner myself. The video itself is good, but not what the title suggests. Not for me, at least. You guys seem totally okay with it.

Hi Paul,
I have a male cat that is 14 years old. When he was a kitten right up until he was a year ago he was friendly and playful and let me pet him. As soon as he was 1 it all changed. In the thirteen years since then he will not let me pick him up or pet him unless I am sitting down. I have no idea what happened to him or why he changed. But any interaction between us has to be with his rules. Consequently the only time I can pet him is when I am sitting in the easy chair and he will back up and let me scratch the base of his tail or when I am on the toilet(!) and again let me scratch his back. Anything else like nail cutting etc causes a screaming fit. When he was one he also licked all the fur off his belly and inside back legs. I have had him on all kinds of quieting meds etc and nothing but nothing works. He is just a scary cat now but he is mine so he is here to stay. Would you be able to get another kitten and see if that perks up her attitude. Sometimes a little competition is a good thing.

When my cat meows at me, i can not help but meow back at her and then we won’t stop even after she was done eating, i love annoying her that way! She will then, eventually give me the look of “will you shut up now?!” On her face! It’s priceless! Then she’ll go hybernate! 😜✌️

Sure! Outdoor cats and feral ones are not necessarily less happy and healthy, but if they're hiding away in dark places, or a cuddly cat is suddenly more aggressive, it always means they should be taken to a vet.
They're either in pain and something is so wrong they're hiding away waiting for death.

First of all, that is a GORGEOUS cat. Amazing. Second of all, yay, my cat does all of those things. My tabby mister Plutarchos is my companion and my best friend. I tell people I'm his mom, 'cos he is like a son from another mother. He was homeless for the first three years of his life and then I found him on my door step all madded and hungry. And now he lives like the king that he was meant to be. My motto is "Take everything else but leave me the cat!".

She's a lover no doubt.... much like my indoor cat, she doesn't seem to have missed any meals. 😜. Lots of good food will often turn most cats into good adoring pets. I'm currently taking on an outdoor cat I thought was feral and it turns out he has to be someone's former pet! In one week's time he's now in my arms and is a purr baby, trying to come inside. They just need a little love!
