I'm back to my hobby of watching Pisces reactions and I'm very happy you nailed the pause at 1:15. Flawless execution. We love to see someone stop before the chorus and lull themselves into an understanding of why we requested this song before their faces get melted clean off
She is simply one of the greatest vocalists of all time. One of the greatest performers of all time. One of the greatest artists of all time, any genre, any era, any medium...
"Perennial" live at Wacken is fantastic, and the song is about her experiences with SAD. It is an amazing live performance, and a truly beautiful depiction of what it's like to suffer from a seasonal mental health disorder.
Excellent reaction and analysis. Tatiana's lyrics are full of duality (she is a Pisces). Off stage she is an introvert. On stage, though she's been doing this now for 15 years she bounces and dances around on stages with more square footage than the first floor of my house like I've seen no other performer do. There is a Jinjer song called "Wallflower" which is about her being an introvert and just wanting to be alone when the band was pressuring her to get her lyrics done for the next album. She's actually in that situation now as well to some extent. Their song Perennial is about seasonal depression and really makes a story of it over the course of the song. The band is from Ukraine and the winters there are pretty harsh and paralyzing. Their song Home Back covers what is and has been happening in their country, Teacher Teacher is about not taking anyone's lessons to you at face value. Outlander expresses her frustration with humanity in general as a member of her generation in Ukraine. Mediator (Pisces is also known as a mediator) is about her wishes for humanity vs reality. Vortex is about overwhelming thoughts sending you into a vortex. Virtually every song is a lyrical treat and there are a lot of them.
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go!! Get on the Jinjer train, you won't regret it. The band as a whole is phenomenal, and yes Tati is a powerful vocalist, definitely one of the best in the biz.
My husband is very masculine man/construction worker. He loves his rock music and I recalled recently that I never showed him jijer. A few nights ago I put it on our system and he had stink face and awe pretty much the whole time. Of course he was blown away . I was so jealous he was experiencing it for the first time. It is now on his play list.
This the first song I heard by Jinjer, and it happened to be at a live performance. They opened up for Disturbed on their most recent concert tour and Jinjer are a surprise I didn't know I needed. They are so good; they are going to go far in the music world.
Your reaction and words of wisdom resonate deeply! They take me back to my own first experiences, when I was fortunate enough to discover the incredible artists you choose to break down. Your videos move me to the brink of tears and help me break free from my own thoughts, inspiring me to live more fully than ever. Please, don’t stop doing what you do best-helping those in need!
Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole. There are so many great songs they have created. Perennial live is a must watch, Tatiana switches voices her between 2 words, amazing! Also Wallflower, it’s a very person song for her and kind of an introverts anthem.
The look of "what did I just experience " when you see Pieces. One of their best songs and love how you interpret what the song is from a therapist's point of view.
Oooooh, Taylor! Please, please, please, carry on down the Jinjer rabbit hole! Tatiana (the vocalist) is also the principal lyricist. Her lyrics are poetry and usually touch on her conflicted personality. They will provide you with loads of meat to chew on with your consistently excellent lyrical analysis (apologies if you're a vegetablist). Everything the band create together is gold.
Thank you, Taylor! Watched a whole bunch of your reactions to Slipknot last night. A part of me that used to be that kid listening to metal because it felt like only that really helped and was the medium of my inner turmoil and suffering wept to the fact that someone like yourself gets it, really gets it. Different music is certainly therapeutic in different ways, but metal has a cathartic energy to it (IMHO), and it just feels so damn good to see you get it, relate to it, interpret it. When i was younger, there were plenty of people around who didn't understand my love for metal music. Every time i see someone who relates, it hits home and feels like connectedness. And that's an awesome feeling. Speaking of which, hey to all the fellow metalheads in the comment section! ❤
Hey in return! Only when you are able to recognize and feel your own mistakes, even if it is through a mirror, and admit them to yourself, then you are able to progress within yourself. Yes, that´s it!
I discovered Jinjer from Elizabeth Zharoff's (Charismatic Voiced) channel. And I have been obsessed ever since. They are getting to be more and more popular, especially Tati, but I think they are perpetually underrated. I'm not a metal head normally. But there is something about their sound that I just love. Tati is a born superstar. I legit think she is one of the greatest fronts to a band ever. Just the total package. You really need to see their live performances. I suggest "Perennial" Live from Wacken 2019. It's a perfect performance with great sound quality. Its also a beautiful poem in it's own right, juxtaposed to great music. But as others have said..."Teacher Teacher" is another good one to break down the lyrics of, and by far my favorite song of theirs.
Awesome analysis as usual! Thank you! Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019) is a very poetic song about seasonal depression and the rebirth of life in the spring. I would love to hear your take on the lyrics. She writes lyrics in Russian and then translates to English which makes for some interesting choice words, but very beautiful at the same time. I love what you are doing! Keep it up!
It is great to watch unsuspecting people watch Jinjer reactions, but it is extra special to see someone watch and actually break down and understand the lyrics and meaning of the song, well done to you or this
Hey I’m a Pisces! February 27th 1988! Lol. This song holds a special place in my heart. Btw I think you’ll like their song/music video “Home Back”, it’s my personal favorite Jinjer song
Omg Taylor! Your analysis of this track is spot on and wow! Jinjer is one of my favorite bands but the way you break things down is amazing. I appreciate you so much
lol that perfectly timed comment. I was listening to this with my great niece who is 5 and when that moment hit she turns to me and goes "hey they are rocking and a rolling"
Jinjer is incredible and all their songs have meaning, whether emotional or political. I'd strongly recommend Perennial- Exploring getting through her depression the same way plants regrow in spring. The live version is amazing, seeing she can do this out of studio, but the official video makes catching lyrics easier.
Jinjer is amazing. Loved your reaction. Tatianas lyrics tend to be quite personal so there is actually a lot of great songs to check out. I would recommend: Wallflower Teacher Teacher Mediator Perennial
I have listened to this song hundreds of times. I have seen many reactions to it. I want to let you know that I really enjoy your perspective and breakdown of the lyrics. 🧡
I have used music as a release since I was in my early teens. The angst and emotion is so easily related to bands through their lyrics if you take the time to find the lyrics you can relate to. It has kept me sane and "proper" for well over 4 decades now and still provides an outlet for my inner thoughts. You are a smart young lady, rock on 🤘
Tati is the best singer out there in any genre but she is also a wonderful song writer. Her lyrics are very thoughtful and thought provoking. There are already a bunch of great suggestions for the next Jinjer song to react to but my fave is Perennial, the live version. Love your reaction to this.
Yes! It's so good to see another fantastic video from your channel! It's been months since I've been able to watch something THIS HIGH quality from you!!!
That face, at "cutting tables of callous men" lololol. That is my face the first time I heard Pisces. Shock and awe. That's the face we all love. Another notch in Tatiana's lipstick case 😂. Beautiful reaction, and beautiful psychological analysis. Accepting our duality, our dark side, without overfeeding it, is a gift indeed. The silent witness, the observer effect from quantum physics. Using music to help shift people's mindsets. It happens every time I pick up my guitar. Delightful. Thank you. Welcome to the Jinjer Army! You got the full dose, with your immediate grasp of the multilayered lyrical content. The more you watch this video and listen to the song, the more layers of fish/water imagery you notice, visual, auditory and lyrical. It's a nuanced masterwork. The perfect vehicle for the duality of Tatiana's amazing voice. Just wait! She's got way more than two vocal personalities! This girl has multiple vocal personality disorder. Her lyrics even express it. In Pit of Consciousness she talks about "In my head, someone else, setting snares for my soul." It seems to me most of their songs these days deal with some aspect of personality and psychology. In the video for Wallflower you'll see the white and black wolves, representing the two sides of ourselves that we can choose to feed. Yes, I can relate to that feeling of having part of oneself that wants to die. Or at least flirts with the idea. I just had a conversation yesterday about that feeling of wondering what it would be like, just one twitch of the steering wheel, over the bridge railing... I think it's a common feeling. It's often not even despair, just... existential curiosity. Many of us seem to have a shoulder angel and a shoulder demon. Tatiana's are on full display! Thought provoking, eh? Also emotion-evoking. This shit hits you on multiple levels. Outstanding reaction. You seem like a metal chick. We like metal chicks. I've got a feeling you could become one of Jinjer Nation's favorite reactors. I'm subscribing in the hope you'll do much more Jinjer. There's a ton of reaction potential. Doubletakes, tripletakes--we're here for it! We know you'll love Perennial, and the live version at Wacken is a great next stop. If you like Jinjer as much as I think you already do, you'll need to react to a bunch of their videos in short order--just so you don't have to wait to experience them for yourself! I guarantee you won't be disappointed. You'll fall more in love with them with every song. They're the best. They have a new live album/DVD dropping in nine days. Lucky you! And lucky us! You'll need to see Jinjer live, too! It's an addiction lol. See you in the mosh pit! \m/
This is genuinely turning into one of my favourite channels due to the content and your reactions. I’d like to recommend “Poet and the Pendulum” live at Wembley by Nightwish. It is not the normal song people start with when it comes to Nightwish, however it is the song that suits this channel the most as it deals with depression and struggle. It was written by Nightwish’s song writer the keyboardist Tuomas during the hardest time in the bands history and he basically ended his life in the song to stop himself doing it in real life, however the new song finishes positively with a new beginning. It is one of the best written pieces of music you will come across and is broken into Acts. I won’t say more about it. Nightwish hold the record for most reacted song in TH-cam history with “Ghost Love Score” (normally what people start their Nightwish journey with. However, as previously mentioned, “Poet” suits this channel perfectly, especially if the research is done on the songs meaning beforehand.
I disagree, this is not a good reccommendition. You have to know Nightwish’s history in order to understand what the song really is about. Most reactors get it wrong, even despite their preparations.
@@treintje1001 if you read my full comment I do recommend that she does the full research, plus the channel has stated before that they research every song before she reacts.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Jinjer. Tatiana is a vocal beast and the band is absolutely amazing, so tight. There are SO many great songs that you can react to.
Thank you for the review and welcome to the rabbit hole that is Jinjer. I hope you do more of them, you'll really grow to love and appreciate them, the band is incredible and Tatiana is a goddess! Perennial live at Wacken open air 2019 should be next.
This was one of the last songs my father listened to before he passed. I got him into JinJer along with a few dozen other bands him and I would listen together to.
Jinjer is my favorite band! Tatiana, and the rest of the group write incredible lyrics and poems which tell stories that are so interesting to hear and I love the way you interpreted this song!!!! Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Gatekeeping the words people use is kinda silly. She's clearly really enjoying the song and appreciating the skill and talent. Does how she classifies it really matter that much? Edit : I used to gatekeep stuff like that too, I just realized that people can appreciate things without knowing how to "properly" classify it. No hate towards you or anything, I hope you have much prosperity in the future
@@NathanExplosion1989You are now "gatekeeping" someone who is, respectfully, correcting the record. If someone was disrespectfully pushing people out I would've agreed, but in this case "screamo" is a different genre and style.
I truly never get tired of people getting to experience this song for the first time absolutely love it not to mention watching people experience songs that I have loved for years the first time I think it has to do with getting to relive that feeling through others just awesome love your videos keep up the good work thank you for sharing your experiences with us
Tatiana is a Pisces. My take is that it’s about swimming upstream looking for light and love only to be caught and killed by handsome butchers. When the war in Ukraine started they all volunteered. They were told to continue touring and support the cause. Should have kept her. She could have won some battles by herself. She’s a berserker. Floor with Nightwish is a Valkyrie. Maria with Heilung is a sorceress/priestess. Aurora is a serious/fun kinky forest fairy angel. Luv ya girlie? 😊❤
I love your reaction. I’ve just watched this for the 5th time this morning and it still makes me cry tears of joy watching your elation. Thanks for a good start to my morning. 🤘🏻🔥💥🙏🏻💯
@HeartSupport I was looking for your reaction to a Jinjer song .I stumbled upon this band 3 years ago while i was listening straight line stich( long story short) .I still struggle to accept to not be ok, to do errors the doubts, and the self-destructive tendencies in me (this conflict lead me to a relapse recently). Eventually a wiser friend of mine remind me to be grateful and to dedicate time to that and other healthy perspectives!
From GaryYounOG: @JeanMarie251 Hey, Thank you for sharing your experience with discovering Jinjer and how music has been a part of your journey. It’s fascinating how certain bands and songs can resonate with us, especially during challenging times. Music has a unique way of connecting with our emotions, and it can be a powerful tool in coping with and understanding our struggles. It’s completely normal to find it difficult to accept not being okay and to grapple with self-doubt and self-destructive tendencies. These feelings can be tough to manage, and it’s understandable that they led to a relapse. Recovery is often a non-linear process, and setbacks are a part of the journey. It’s important not to be too hard on yourself during these times. It sounds like you have a wise friend who offers great advice. Focusing on gratitude and maintaining healthy perspectives can be incredibly beneficial. Perhaps you could try incorporating regular practices that reinforce these habits, like keeping a gratitude journal or setting aside a few minutes each day to reflect on what you're thankful for. These small practices can sometimes help shift our focus from what’s going wrong to what’s going right. Continuing to explore music that speaks to you and supports your healing is another excellent strategy. If there are other bands or songs that you find particularly uplifting or relatable, embracing them as part of your recovery toolkit can be very helpful. Thank you again for opening up about your struggles and the steps you're taking to overcome them. If you ever feel like sharing more about your journey or the music that inspires you, I’m here to listen and support you.
From Micro: @JeanMarie251 So thankful for this friend of yours! It sounds like they are a positive resource for you during times of doubt and fears. It's good to have this kind of support in your life, and you did well by reaching out both to them and here. It's okay to not be okay, but knowing it doesn't mean that we always feel that way. And somehow... that's okay too. Struggling to accept not being okay is simply a reflection of how you feel at a given moment, which is entirely valid. Personally, when I struggle with accepting that lows are part of healing, I also realize that it says something positive: I WANT to heal, I WANT to feel better, and that alone gives so much life and strength inside. Accepting where we are at a given moment doesn't need us to like it. However, not liking it is also a good sign and can hold a transformative power. It gives you a direction, a signal as to what you don't want anymore, and that is so very powerful! You can be proud of yourself for having such a good understanding of yourself, of the way you feel, and for not staying alone with those thoughts. If anything, they only reveal the humanity in you - not any failure in any way.
Absolutely love this song and seeing reactions to it. The dichotomy of sounds fits like a puzzle and is never forced. The transitions are smoother than butter. Tatiana is part angel and part demon, but not lost at all is how tight the band is playing this song. I really enjoyed this therapist's analysis of this song and makes me appreciate this song even further. She is explains very well why I'm innately drawn to this song.
The second I saw that you were listening to Pisces, I thought to myself "She's about to go down a rather intriguing rabbit hole, here". Enjoy Jinjer. The musicianship coupled with Tatiana's vocals are all top notch, and she's criminally underrated as a songwriter. Their theatrics are fantastic, but reviewing the word selection is paramount. Enjoy!
The part that gets me every time is "Searching for a hook to catch on and see the sun beam". It's the one part of the the song that isn't split in her duality of styles, she has both the melodic voice and the intensity of the growl. It's like both parts agree for a line. They're both looking for that same thing.
Think you. I have watched almost every reaction video for this song. You are the first person to actually get the Pisces aspect of it. as a Pisces the chang from light to dark is something I can totally relate to. Her look as well added to the visual effect Her ear rings are fish the song is about Fish total package of Pisces perfection.
You know, I have NEVER pulled up the lyrics for this song until THIS reaction (and I've watched reactions to this song dozens of times). Wow. Amazing lyrics.
i'll never get tired of these first reactions to Jinjer. Not only is my dog named Jinjer (before i even knew about this band, She is 13.) I love seeing the "oh that's pretty, i like her voice OH MY GOD!" never gets old.
🔥Welcome to Jinjer, Taylor! I just found your channel, saw your Jinjer reaction and subbed, great reaction! I love your dive into the lyrics, and for me this song has all those meanings plus the emeralds being all life on earth about to be ripped away (climate collapse, etc). Thank you for bringing the fantastic genre twisting music of Jinjer to more people! I love their energy, how tight they are, how down to earth they are, the heaviness mixed with complexity and groove, beautiful singing and growling and especially Tatiana's lyrics! The first time I heard Pisces in 2019, I hadn't liked any metal with growling and it took me a few listens to start liking it, but now Tatiana is my favorite vocalist and Jinjer my favorite band (Pisces has been my wake up alarm for a few years and I still love it more every time I hear it, snooze is a thing of the past). TLDR: skip to the last paragraph 😂 Sorry for the long comment, I just love Jinjer too much and love seeing people discover (and usually fall in love with) them and each of their songs! My three favorite comments about Jinjer that I've seen, "terrifying levels of talent", "I hate it when a Jinjer song ends", and "that was more unexpected than my first child" 🤣 All four current members of Jinjer have essentially no formal musical training except Vlad the drummer who studied classical piano. For most of their songs, the three guys write most of the instrument music, then Tatiana writes most of the lyrics and melodies (she gets tons of well deserved credit for her vocal and stage performance abilities, but maybe not quite enough for her lyrical and musical composition abilities). Roman the guitarist has written a lot of the instrument music in the past, so he's a huge part of the beautiful sound of Jinjer, but Vlad the drummer (who also plays guitar and classical piano, but so far not in most Jinjer songs - I think he played piano in lainnereP) has been writing more of it and wrote nine of the eleven songs for the latest album Wallflowers. Eugene composes some - he wrote the instrument music for one song on Wallflowers and a few songs on other albums, and I know that apart from his amazing work on the bass, he adds riffs and has written lyrics for a few Jinjer songs. Jinjer has been a tour-heavy band, touring almost nonstop from 2013 to 2020 and much of the time since then (with interruptions by covid and the US backed coup/proxy war), hard work that has made them fantastic live performers. The band (all members have been Ukrainian, with Russian their first language) started in eastern Ukraine (Donetsk) in 2008 as a group of three (then five) with none of the current members (they consider the official start of the band when Tatiana replaced the male vocalist and Roman joined as lead guitar 2009/2010), Vlad is the fifth drummer (joined in 2016) and it's been a group of four since 2015 (though they consider their road sound engineer Sasha to be a fifth member). I think they're still friends with all the former members and you can see their former guitarist turned actor, Dmitry Oksen, in older videos on guitar and a more recent video (Disclosure) playing an interrogator. One of the things I love most about Jinjer is the messages in Tatiana's lyrics and the way she combines growling and beautiful singing with Jinjer's fantastic instrumentals to be so powerful for expressing the anger and pain in those messages: the anti-war message in Home Back, the anti-greed in On The Top, Mediator and No Hoard Of Value (also the horror of the coal mining industry in their home Ukraine), the protest song Who Is Gonna Be The One, the anti-fascism of Sit Stay Roll Over, the anger at people being narrow minded in Teacher Teacher and Judgment & Punishment, the struggles with mental health in Pit Of Consciousness, Vortex, Wallflower and Perennial, the giving voice to mother nature angry at humanity for letting capitalism destroy her in a bunch of songs like Ape, The Prophecy, Cloud Factory, Noah, Outlander and Bad Water. Other favorites are I Speak Astronomy, Retrospection, Words of Wisdom, Just Another, Captain Clock, Scissors, Exposed As A Liar, I Want It I'll Get It, A Plus Or A Minus, Dip A Sail, When Two Empires Collide, lainnereP, Prologue and Beggar's Dance (those last two are short album bookends that could do well together in one reaction if you're so inclined). I haven't found a Jinjer song I don't love, so I think you can't go wrong if you choose any of them, but a few good choices might be Perennial (official and/or live at Wacken 2019, both are must-see), Teacher Teacher (official), Judgement & Punishment (official and/or Tatiana's one take performance, again both must-see), Pit of Consciousness (official and/or live in Kiev/Kyiv, a third where both are absolutely must-see) or the heartwrenching plea against war in Home Back (official video). Thank you, Taylor! I hope you'll keep trying out more Jinjer songs and enjoy! ❤🖤🤘

@@paddythefly True that! And music certainly helped in that regard
Probably the best live band out there….incredible
Perennial - Jinjer - live @ Wacken
Their live performance is spectacular and there’s substance in the lyrics like always
Keep it up!
Jinjer is the best. You definitely need to deep dive them! Would love your insight on Perennial live at Wacken.
Same but 1975 🎉
Same date - 1972 here
Omg Taylor! Your analysis of this track is spot on and wow! Jinjer is one of my favorite bands but the way you break things down is amazing. I appreciate you so much
lol that perfectly timed comment. I was listening to this with my great niece who is 5 and when that moment hit she turns to me and goes "hey they are rocking and a rolling"
lol thats amazing
Jinjer is incredible and all their songs have meaning, whether emotional or political. I'd strongly recommend Perennial- Exploring getting through her depression the same way plants regrow in spring. The live version is amazing, seeing she can do this out of studio, but the official video makes catching lyrics easier.
I'm an old metalhead ( started at 15 '84) I get goosebumps every time I hear Jinjer. Saw them in '22 and got vanity plate of the band name ( JINJER)
Jinjer is amazing. Loved your reaction. Tatianas lyrics tend to be quite personal so there is actually a lot of great songs to check out. I would recommend:
Wallflower
Teacher Teacher
Mediator
Perennial
I have listened to this song hundreds of times. I have seen many reactions to it. I want to let you know that I really enjoy your perspective and breakdown of the lyrics. 🧡
I have used music as a release since I was in my early teens. The angst and emotion is so easily related to bands through their lyrics if you take the time to find the lyrics you can relate to. It has kept me sane and "proper" for well over 4 decades now and still provides an outlet for my inner thoughts. You are a smart young lady, rock on 🤘
OK I've seen THOUSANDS of Pisces reactions. This may be one of my favourites 🙂
OMG, thank you for diving so deep. So many reactors focus just on the extreme vocal. Thank you ❤
Heck yeah! I hit refresh and this was 2 minutes old. Couldn't click fast enough. Tati is beyond amazing.
7:57 you see the brain-melt begin. Reactions to this song began my journey of watching reaction videos.... so glad to see you come across this!
You should definitely do Perennial live at Wacken 2019 next. I think you'd really appreciate the lyrics, but the vocals are next level.
Here we go jinjer🔥🔥🤘🏾🤘🏾
Jinjer rocks, & you do too. 😌👍 Thank you for your awesome therapeutic vibes! 🤘😊👍
Jinjer- Teacher Teacher, Up next!
I concur with this recommendation. I recommended "How's The Heart" but both songs are in alignment with this channel's message
@@markclements7767 I think “Dead Boys Poem” would work as well.
@@gstevenson7781 Yes, I think it would 🙂
And once again, I'm in love with watching this reaction😂
And an absolutely insightful analysis. Keep riding the Jinjer train, its an amazing ride.
Heavy Metal was never a boring Music
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Jinjer. Tatiana is a vocal beast and the band is absolutely amazing, so tight. There are SO many great songs that you can react to.
Your perspective reminded me of the movie Inside Out, where acceptance of sadness was a key component to have a healthy mental state.
Thank you for the review and welcome to the rabbit hole that is Jinjer. I hope you do more of them, you'll really grow to love and appreciate them, the band is incredible and Tatiana is a goddess! Perennial live at Wacken open air 2019 should be next.
I like that laugh at 2:51
This was one of the last songs my father listened to before he passed. I got him into JinJer along with a few dozen other bands him and I would listen together to.
Anyone else fall in love when she hit those power cords!? Oh my lanta
? power chords are 3-5 chords... perhaps you mean something else
@@Enochulator Pretty sure he means the belt in the outro.
Yeeessss! Jinjer! Not a single bad song from them, insanely talented guys, all of them.
You haven't seen anything yet. My favorite song and video is " I speak astronomy "
Yup
The Hellfest@Home Live Performance of this Song is outstanding.
My life mission is to see all the reactions to this song... Your reaction was so accurate and entertaining.
"Girl Power!" Oh, sweet summer child....
Jinjer is my favorite band! Tatiana, and the rest of the group write incredible lyrics and poems which tell stories that are so interesting to hear and I love the way you interpreted this song!!!! Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Please do not call this "screamo". Tati is a true artist. Tati is a beast. Pure talent, not just screaming.
You don't realize how important in stuff she is
I truly never get tired of people getting to experience this song for the first time absolutely love it not to mention watching people experience songs that I have loved for years the first time I think it has to do with getting to relive that feeling through others just awesome love your videos keep up the good work thank you for sharing your experiences with us
Tatiana is a Pisces. 😊❤
Great analogy. She trusts gives her light only to be consumed by someone elses darkness…the emeralds are ripped away…
The face you made as soon as the screams came in was absolutely amazing lol had me smiling at my phone like a little kid 😂
From GaryYounOG: @JeanMarie251
Hey,
Thank you for sharing your experience with discovering Jinjer and how music has been a part of your journey.

Love the reactions!! My frst reactions to this song were just as crazy! Same with all my friends I HAD to show it to. Awesome band!
This is one of my favorite songs to see people react to! You definitely didn’t disappoint!
I’ve heard this song 4 billion times and watched 2 billion reactions. This is the first time I cried. Fantastic.
Your reaction and breakdown are some of my favorites so far.
Welcome to the world of jinjer! Loved your reaction! Blown away like the rest of us the first time 😮. Never gets old.
Your analysis added another layer to my appreciation for the lyrics to this song. Thank you for that.
I love watching people's reaction to this song. I wish I could hear again, for the first time. Love your reaction and your analysis of the lyrics!
Wowowow WOW great lyrics breakdown. Definitely the best philosophical and psychological analysis hands down!
Love this song, got to see them live a couple of years ago and they smashed it!! Worth seeing if you can
Absolutely love this song and seeing reactions to it.
Enjoy!
An actual true reaction on YT. Thank you for your honesty. I'm hooked.
So very relatable!! Jinjer is ne of my favorite bands and most relatable with their music!
I love Jinjer... I really need these videos they bring a smile to my face. Thank You
Reminds me of a local band here in Michigan called Girlscout Handgrenade. She was an amazing singer and had the evil scream voice as well
First things first, many are surprised at what Tatiana can do with her voice. I love it!!!! I cannot wait to see your reaction. It was great!!!!!
The part that gets me every time is "Searching for a hook to catch on and see the sun beam". It's the one part of the the song that isn't split in her duality of styles, she has both the melodic voice and the intensity of the growl. It's like both parts agree for a line. They're both looking for that same thing.
Jinjer reactions does my heart mightily.
It never gets old lol. Really hope you react to more Jinjer, I recommend "Teacher, Teacher", "I Speak Astronomy", "Scissors", "Exposed as a Liar"
Glad to see someone talking about the lyrics and not only her growling. She writes great and poetic lyrics.
I will never get tired of people's first listen to this song! 😀 Also, Tatiana is an exceptionally talented vocalist.
TLDR: skip to the last paragraph 😂
Sorry for the long comment, I just love Jinjer too much and love seeing people discover (and usually fall in love with) them and each of their songs!
My three favorite comments about Jinjer that I've seen, "terrifying levels of talent", "I hate it when a Jinjer song ends", and "that was more unexpected than my first child" 🤣
All four current members of Jinjer have essentially no formal musical training except Vlad the drummer who studied classical piano.
Well said. The part about accepting your duality, too busy fighting it to actually be it.
Thank you for reacting to this! I think this is most Jinger fans past times watching people react to this song.
Ive been watching reactions to this for years now and still never gets old. Please do more Jinjer reactions, their live performances are great to watch.
