I was planning to vote Labour at the next election anyway but boy am I behind this man now. The speech was excellent, genuinely excellent and full of hope. I thought public speaking might be Keir Starmer’s biggest weakness: not now, and not after he handled the glitter-bomber so well too. I felt hope. How long can they survive without water? This is inhumane and human rights abuse. And the Israeli military is preparing an assault on their community. It's Hamas who committed the atrocities, not Palestinian families. I am appalled at western governments taking the side of the Israelis. Anyone who sees the Palestinians as the oppressed is met with the racist card. Their country was invaded, their land seized, their homes razed to the ground. Thousands were displaced, have been living in refugee camps for decades, with no future. The rest are treated as second-class citizens, walled up in their communities, facing daily intimidation if they dare to go to school or work outside.

If Sir Keir can cope with waiting months for an NHS treatment and housing shortages and depressed wages due to MASS IMMIGRATION then so can we.....oh ....he had private health insurance and has a nice home and is not competing with migrants in his wages..... so why the hell am I putting up with No Go zones and knife crime and over run areas ? Because I'm a mug and keep voting for it. That's why.

Get your acts together and get A Different Bias, Labour Social, Super Tanski, Bowler Hat man, Max Robespierre, White Van Man etc to help you expand your audience. Phil from A Different Bias reckons most of his 320k monthly views are not Labour members. He says he is largely unrecognised at party events. Get on with it.
Put some effort into the youth vote. Tilt some policies directly at them, if you are not already. It's not lost on me that anything to do with providing a decent future will mostly benefit young people because they have more time to spend living in the future but it is not always clear to young people that that is the case. A conversation with my teenage daughter proves it. My political knowledge was not as fully formed when I was young; I knew what I felt was right but the knowledge of political manoeuvring was low.
So in short throw the youth some "red meat" to show them you love them.

Some 13 of the 31 members of Labour’s shadow cabinet have received donations from a prominent pro-Israel lobby group or individual funder, it can be revealed.
The list of recipients includes party leader Keir Starmer, his deputy Angela Rayner, shadow foreign secretary David Lammy, and even the former vice-chair of Labour Friends of Palestine, Lisa Nandy, who is now shadow international development minister.
These donations were provided by Labour Friends of Israel (LFI), a pro-Israel lobby group which takes MPs on “fact-finding” missions to the region, and Sir Trevor Chinn, a multi-millionaire business tycoon and long-time pro-Israel lobbyist.
More than half of Starmer’s shadow cabinet are listed as parliamentary supporters or officers of LFI.
The group was established in 1957 to “act as a bridge linking [Israeli prime minister David Ben Gurion’s party] Mapai… with the Labour Movement in Great Britain”.
It has since described itself as “a Westminster based lobby group working within the British Labour Party to promote the State of Israel”..

Well done Keir , you've just lost over 2 million votes, for your vile comments on the genocide of the people of Gaza, half of whom are children. As a supposed human rights lawyer, you should have known better than to take sides, showing your bias, instead of supporting peace and the a 2 state solution.
I despise the tories, but I despise the killing of innocent women, children and old people more.

Great supporting a two party state in the crisis in Israel- they have the right to defend themselves but doesn’t it cut both ways? Are the Palestinians living under oppression for decades not allowed to defend themselves against the aggressor of Israel? Do you have the same opinion for Russia and Ukraine?

Truthfully, the Russians must be exhausted, driven out and embarrassed because in Russian culture, admission of error is considered an extraordinarily severe loss of status/face. This means that Putin won’t do it unless he has to, and that might mean regime change in Russia will prove the sole solution.
