Fixing Honda Jazz / Fit stalling issue or infamous EGR problem

Honda jazz stalls intermittently when idling at junctions or traffic lights. Some people suggest to replace the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR) or faulty batter or old spark plugs. I cleaned the EGR and charged the battery. It seemed to have fixed the stalling problem.

Usually the stalling problem when stopping at stop signs, when the engine is still cold is because the valve clearances need adjustment. My 08 Fit, with the 1.5 L, has 326,000 km and has never needed an EGR valve.

Should use tb cleaner...also better to clean the intake manifold passage.
