- Irene Paris shot during a break in filming Hollie Col's new music video. All shot in Cinema 4K apart from the one slow mo shot.
I truly think if you put this camera in a situation with good lighting, then you get some truly remarkable results.
Equipment:
Panasonic GH5
Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 Art
Music: N U A G E S - Distant - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Great and beautiful!
Really nice work !
Duuude you nailed this! I only bought the LUT this week and can't wait to give it a crack on thx weekend... Your clip inspired me keep crushing it 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks bro! Hope it works well for you, I love it!
Very nice examples. Lots of challenging highlights and good skin tone examples! Thanks for taking the time to post it. I have been fiddling with the GHAlex LUT for a while now. Trying to figure out the parts of it that work for me. So far, I like the results but it has not been a 'set it and forget it' workflow. But the results have been stunning.
mclaren f1 thanks! Yeah I’m really loving it. A lot of the time it’s my go to, not always but I find myself a lot recording in vlog and going “shit I can’t wait to see what this looks like with the GHalex lut” hahah!
Michael Conlon do you work in Fcpx? If so, what is your workflow? I still find the LUT challenging to work with. It’s very extreme and I have to bring down the highlights quite a bit.
mclaren f1 hey mate I use Premiere Pro. I try to nail the exposure instead of overexposing. I also use the alternate conversion “soft” instead of the others, seems to work best for me!
Fabolous :)
The best GHalex LUT footage I had watched in TH-cam. Do you apply any luma or colour corrections too? And did you moderately expose or under expose when filming? Thank you 😁
Hey mate! thanks so much! Didnt apply anything apart from GHAlex :) I just tried to nail exposure, never under expose.
Great material. Btw, it might just be color grading, but I've noticed with the GH5 that when sunlight is not direct (in shade), the WB point shifts towards blue/magenta. For these moments, when WB is set to direct sun but the shot is in shade, it is worth eyedropping a WB from a white object in frame, or adjusting with temp/tint in the Vscope ahead of applying the conversion
noted!
Interesting to know mate! No extra colour grading was done. I’ll look into it more, thanks legend!
nice result :)
ParaLight WorX thanks heaps! :)
Great video! What editing software do you use the LUT in?
Anthony Wright I use it in Premiere Pro. Thanks mate!
Awesome mate. Dis you shoot in natural or cine- d ?
cheers mate! V-log
Good example
Is this shot in VLOGL?
Yeah mate
awesome! did you shoot log or cine-d?
Hey mate! Shot in V-Log :)
how do you expose V-LOG for normal landscape shots? I use grey card for skin tones but I don't know about landscapes(normal shots) what zebras do you use and at what IRE for landscape shots?
@@fusafilms I dont use a grey card or anything, just go off what looks good on the histogram. Slightly overexposed.
do you mean waveform?
@@fusafilms Nope, histogram. I sometimes use the waveform too, but dont really pay that much attention.
wow nice color grading;-)
Swadric A. Thankyou very much :-)
