Diggaleg, and therefore playing the game, is impossible for the same reason the three Koopa planet in 2d was almost impossible. That was only managed by clever movements. But when you are forced to wait and therefore to move, and even sometimes to jump because of the drill it uses to attack you, that makes that boss fight impossible. There is also no alternate path to get through World 1 and the rest of the game either.
@@TeknoThom That...wouldn't be all that different from just doing The Perfect Run normally, actually. Grandmaster Galaxy is, for the most part, completely linear, so as long as you don't stop moving for too long, the clones wouldn't provide much of a hassle.

Two tips: If you walk while crouching you'll walk very slowly and can easily avoid the clones. It's much more reliable than stutter-stepping. Very quickly entering first-person mode and then immediately leaving it as soon as you land from a Launch Star cancels the landing animation. Speedrunners use this, and it'd help to avoid the clones in this one.

@@cosmo7238 Well it doesn't really require programming (at least the way I'm doing it.) I'm using a 3D level editing tool called Whitehole (the exact version is 1.6 by RealTheSunCat on Github) and I'm placing cosmic clone spawners at the spawn of each map so that when you enter the level, cosmic clones start appearing. You can also configure the max amount that can spawn and the delay between each one. Sadly I'm going to have to remove all of the checkpoints because adding more than one cosmic clone spawner in certain levels crashes the game (which I'm still not sure why). The mod will be quite difficult because of that. Also, there is a similar hack that does the same thing mine will do, but only with certain levels.
