While top speed is the topic of discussion everywhere but in this case we will be discussing speed vs rpm for the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. This Speed test helps us in knowing at what rpm does the TVS Apache 160 4V does certain speed example: RPM at 5th gear to reach 80kmph or at what rpm it does 100kmph. This informs us with the cruising speeds for 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

I have altered final drive ratio by increasing 13teeth in front to 15teeth soo literally reduced 1000rpm for same cruising speed in 5th gear and there will be negative speedo errors due to location of speed sensor before final drive and also I have seen your video of altering 2004v final drive ratio my suggestion is try 160 4v sprocket in 200 4v it's direct fittment with a 15 teeth front sprocket from pulsar 150 there will be enough clearance to accommodate sprocket due to its small pithch design than 200 4v if you do not accelerate frequently then this pith and ratio setup is good enough for long rides and 20k kms chain life soo try bro iam benefitted 😄

I've a Dominar 400 BS6 and RTR 1604V BS4, but I must admit the TVS engine is a charm to ride in the city, top notch engine performance and vfm.

This is very useful for selecting bikes for long distance trips, low rpm and high speed are beneficial.Any Royal Enfield 350 excels in this, 2500 rpm and 75 kmph(speedo indicated) in top gear.

  • @neeljinwala

Thank your for shedding some light on this topic. I have hardly seen reviewers do this test and all they do is raw acceleration and top speed which are hardly done in day to day driving or even weekend cruising. My personal pick is D400 which does 100kmph at 5500rpm. A very speed spot for cruising on indian roads.

    • @aditya9600
      @aditya9600 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But D400 ug doesn't pick in 6thgear at even 70 like say a fz250.
Even in 5th gear it doesn't pull like fz,250 at 50-70kph..
One has to shift to 4th and then D400 shoots ahead.
Basically, on D400 you can cruise at 100 at low rpm but needs downshift for overtakes.

    Hi!
My H Gear has below speed vs rpm in 5th gear:
Each 1000 rpm increases speed to 14km/h.
    Starting speed: 35 km/h, 2500 rpm
    42 km/h, 3000 rpm
56 km/h, 4000 rpm (Here, more than 80% torque is achieved)
63 km/h, 4500 rpm (more than 90% torque, sweet spot)
70 km/h, 5000 rpm (max torque, sweet spot)
77 km/h, 5500 rpm (till this speed, can be cruised)
    84 km/h, 6000 rpm
    91 km/h, 6500 rpm (minimum top speed)
    98 km/h, 7000 rpm
105 km/h, 7500 rpm (redline, and maximum top speed, after this speed, engine vibrates a lot)

Many people still underestimate H Gear and compare it with Platina 100. But now Bajaj has introduced single channel ABS into H Gear.

Hey Bro , I'm looking for some advise on the The apache 200 4v which I might buy tomorrow if everything goes well.
About me : Currently own a Classic 350, Fed up with maintenance costs, low mileage, very unreliable, can't go more than 80 kmph, vibes even at 70kmph and really really bad service centers.
Plan : I mostly do city travel of around 30 40 KMs on weekdays and anywhere around 200 to 500 kms on the weekends.
Research so far : Based on my usage above and other bikes I've considered, I think apache is the one for me.
Could someone confirm below things for me?
    1. How is the maintenance cost of Apache 200? Maintenance is the reason I've left out Dominar and NS 200 due to their liquid cooled engines.
    2. Is the engine reliable? I'm scared of being stranded in some jungle with bike not starting, being a RE owner you can't blame me 🙈. Do we need a road side assistance or is the bike reliable enough to not let you think about all this?
    3. Is engine powerful enough for all day rides? Since the power is lower than Classic 350, can it still do 100 120 on straight highways without stressing the engine or heating it up that my legs start burning.
4.the only feature I see missing are the Led indicators? Are they worth me looking at something else or normal one work just fine as I might need to install a hazard light for highway riding.

If they refuse to service a vehicle in front of you never give the vehicle for service to the dealership . My Yamaha was screwed up after the first service as the cleared the new oil in my bike and poured in old oil and God knows what else they replaced.
