I have all three. I like all three with the rye being my favorite. I purchased the for $99.99 each. I am OK with that price. Being 60 years old I am not fixated on the price. I’ll buy the rye again.
I had all three at a Heaven Hill whiskey tasting. The wheated was the best one but didn’t blow me away. Honestly, all three were a let down. The bourbon tasted like a younger HH BiB with more ethanol flavor and the rye tasted flat to me but had a decent finish. The wheated was a bit sweeter than the others and had more flavor but I also got a good amount of spice too. In my opinion, these bottles are not worth the $100 price tag. They should be under $50.
Thank you for the honest review. I saw this at the NHLO and passed at 100$. At 50$ I might have took a shot but the money grab from HH seemed strong from the reviews of the juice inside the bottle
Hadn't heard any reviews on it, classified as allocated in my county, and dropped this past weekend. Picked up the bourbon for $93. Haven't cracked it yet, but will get to it soon. Thanks again, fellas!
The rye is better in my opinion. Given it's the first release hopefully they improve it with more age next year. 100 is too high it should be like 75 max.
I have seen it at one place and they wanted stupid $$ for it. I think after the several reviews I have seen I will pass on it. I can get really good picks for the same money. Cheers 🥃🥃
I agree, not a 100 dollar bottle. I’m getting HH 7yr B in B at Sam’s for 32.98! Cheers!
