I can't decide if my favorite part of these videos is watching Rachel's very relatable cooking style or the "Here Chris taste this" moment where she feeds him bites of what she just made.
Brittany P I love that "Here, taste this" part too. My husband used to dred those words, but a couple of cooking classes and 25 years of him being my guinea pig, he says I've improved. Watching Rachel's videos, whether cooking or makeup, is so entertaining.

Just a tip: don't add the avocado on the salad right away. Wait till you're gonna eat it and then add the avocado, that way it doesn't oxidize fast. I'm mexican and that's what we do with foods that require avocado. I love your videos!
fernanda fuentes as a Brazilian when she said she wasn’t gonna dress it yet and leave it cut up and peeled for a few hours I was like noooooooo that avocado is gonna oxidizeeee at least add some lime/lemon to it to help prevent it (but yes ideally just never leaves it that long)

Honestly? great video..but my favorite part was the very beginning..when someone..presumably tiny..threw a ball at you..and you just..mommed. it is so nice to see a person who ...yes.you are working..mommy is working..but guess what..mommy is still a mommy...cutest thing ever.

When you make a salad like that I love adding in a splash of white balsamic vinegar or even normal balsamic makes it more dressingy .. I know not

The Mozzarella stuffed meatballs is one of my favorite go-to recipes. It's even better when you sear the meatballs on each side in a skillet before you put them in the slow cooker. It adds a little bit of texture.

Rachel, just add the cinnamon first and then all other ingredients. It makes it a little more manageable. Also, a small silicon spatula does wonders to scrape it off the side and into the mixture. Cinnamon addict over here lol
On Pinterest there are a thousand different ways to make an overnight french toast....maybe try with that mimosa?!

I love seeing you make the tasty recipes so I know how realistic they are or aren’t with a family involved. I’ve done the meatballs before and they were yummy! I’d rather have lettuce with the veggies and maybe balsamic and olive oil! The cinnamon apple dessert looked yummy, but your description is probably spot on!!

My mum used to make meatballs stuffed with mozzarella, soooo good. Recently I asked her how she made them and apparently she added chopped onions and a tiny bit of bell pepper chopped really fine. I've never been more shocked in the sneaky way that I was snuck veg in my childhood!!

I have made those meatballs and they are amazing! They were showing with a recipe for homemade sauce and I made that to. It was so good! Your right that it isnt hard just mostly time consuming.

I need to try those meatballs. They sound good. Also how awesome your kids love avocado. It is good to love.
I will say that whenever I make a veggie salad like that I let everything kinda marinate in the dressing for a few hours and the flavor is a lot better. If there are greens incorporated I toss them in at the end so they don’t get wilted but it really does help to let everything sit in the dressing.

For that salad i like pan searing corn in chili powder, and mixing evoo, lime juice the cilantro -instead of putting it in as is like you did- and a pinch of salt. Sometimes ill take extra avocado and pulse it with evoo, lime, cilantro, salt and a little water and make like an avocado cream dressing. Its AH-MAZING
So entertaining! Also so funny how Cris waits for you to share a bite with his mouth open like HURRY I WANT IT! lol

Have you see the slow cooker liners? They’re oven bags, but open on the long end instead of the short end. When you’re done cooking, you just pull the liner out, wipe down your crockpot and you’re done cleaning! I don’t use them all the time, but they’re great for foods that make for a more difficult cleanup like tomato sauce that can burn around the edge.

honestly was so excited about the cinnamon roll apple bake thing and I’m sad it didn’t turn out
I’m a vegetarian but the meatballs looked good too, I wanna see if it’ll taste nice in a vegetarian meat ball!

i make basically that exact salad weekly... one tip if you want an amazing salad similar to this is to chop the onions smaller, add garlic, more lemon, and CURRY POWDER it makes a world of difference. also try adding pink Himalayan rock salt, garlic powder, Cayenne, and turmeric. its super healthy and flavorful. i love it
