My older bro’s friend worked there and told us it was the exact same amount, they just put half under the toppings and the other half on top. I hate how BS marketing is, can’t hardly buy anything anywhere without feeling like you’re getting suckered…

Just because something can be argued to be technically true doesn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t misleading, moreover, by way of an intention to deliberately mislead. It’s a fine line and plenty of false advertising cases have been won and lost on both sides of it.
@@namvet1968 I’d say it’s easily the chalupa cravings box. Usually what they’ll have is a chalupa, a burrito, some chips and nacho cheese, and a medium sized drink all for just $5. It’s easily one of the most popular and the most bang for your buck. Either that option or the stuff on the dollar menu is also quite decent. Also pro tip: ask for your burritos to be grilled when you order em, it costs nothing and they taste extra toasty and crunchy
And the same could be said for pretty much any fast food restaurant. There's one McDonald's near my that always messes up orders, so I quit going to that one. Another one near me almost never messes up.
As the years go by, Taco Bell has put less and less ingredients into their products and it's becoming more and more just tortilla or taco shell. Their burritos are half as thick as they used to be.
That is actually true most places. The Taco Bell where I live they hire a bunch of bad employees who overload everything 😆 Also if you ask for sauce they'll give you like 20 packs for one taco 😂 Don't get me wrong that's not the way it's supposed to be but I'm kind of glad it is. But it's still better than the old Taco Bell that used to be in town that apparently got shut down because people are selling drugs out of the drive-thru 😳🤯
I've been waiting my whole life for a Taco Bell restaurant to open in my country. We got it 3 years ago and I was so excited, but all I can say is, when I first tasted it, my disappointment was unmeasurable and my day was ruined.

As a taco bell worker, it's not about quality, but quantity. People will order $50 worth of food during lunch rush and you have to get it done within 3 minutes.

However, both the general manager AND our regional representative told me to sell expired stuff. (It's been expired for a month by that time) I just threw it out when they both went outside. The 2nd time, kinda cool crew, but same shit and the managers had the audacity to steal from my paychecks to fund a company camping trip (with monthly bonus's) for the managers.
I've loved Taco Bell since the late 80's. Even worked there when I was a senior in high school. Recently, in the last couple of years, I have noticed a huge decline in service and quality, with many restaurants understaffed, which is one of many contributors. The app being another. I have made the difficult but necessary decision to no longer give them my business. It really sucks man, it's been a part of my life for so long and to see it in such decline is like watching an old superhero die. I'm just glad to have been alive during its hay days. And your rating on this crunchwrap is way too generous.
Taco bell has been living off the goodwill of being near my elementary school and having star wars toys when I was just discovering it (Empire Strikes Back Special Edition), but I've been hurt too many times.
Back in the 70's and 80's they were great, but man over the years they have gone down hill hard. But like you said, the service and quality have gotten so lousy it's a waste of money going anymore. As for the service, some places I've gone have been so slow the managers even came out to apologize. It would be one thing that after 20 or more minutes waiting you could leave, but they already have your money.
I only go to ones that don't have a drive thru otherwise they make your order bottom priority. And I only order from the kiosk because sometimes it takes ten minutes for someone to come to the counter.

Seems like the employee shortage has been really taking a toll on the quality of my experience at Taco Bell restaurants recently. Usually only the drive thru is open, and even tho the line isn't terribly long it's been taking about a half hour just to get through the drive thru. And then also it seems like since the employees have to get a lot of food made fast they don't make it well so you get some below average food and have to wait way too long.
Yes it's been a struggle to get fast food lately! Either very long wait, out of items/products, or closed for the day. Probably for the best 😂 but sucks when I have a craving for something.
@@jellym9557 yeah, last night I had to pick up a couple doordash orders from a Taco Bell, and the line was so long it took over a half hour to get all the way through, and then when I got up there they apparently had accidentally given one of the orders to the wrong person, so they told me to go to the parking lot to wait for them to remake it. I waited there for a while and then they came out but they made the wrong order for me so I had to wait again for them to make the right order. In total I was at that Taco Bell for an hour. A huge waste of my time while I was trying to work and make money
Yeah, with the unemployment benefits recently we don’t have a lot of adults working, you can make more on unemployment, so we basically have to run our stores with a bunch of kids, keeping them on task and having to constantly re-route them. It feels like I get paid to babysit and compensate when nothing gets done correctly
Always check this guys reviews for the “real life” truth on these items. So far his opinions have been spot on for me. He’s unbiased and his opinions aren’t bought by anyone. That’s a hard thing to find these days.
I ate this yesterday. The photo on the menu showed two layers of beef with the two tostadas inside. Well, guess how many layers of beef I got served. One. One layer. No nacho cheese.
I blame the individual franchise owners cutting corners, telling their workers to scrimp on this or that. Or cheapskate owners start running low on a certain ingredient and tell their workers to s-t-r-e-t-c-h them til the next supply delivery.
@@betsybarnicle8016 There is a trend of this happening at many Taco Bells. It's been going on now for a couple of years with it really picking up in the last year. They under-staff as well which lends to it's poor quality of service and food, one of the many contributors. I no longer eat there, it's trash compared to what it once was.

I used to work in fast food and to be fair it is hard, simply because you have to assemble everything so quickly. It's cheap and fast for a reason, they cut corners on that kind of stuff for purposes of speed and cost.
You really came in clutch this time, ReportoftheWeek, as I was just out the door to investigate this new crunch wrap at my local Taco Bell, when I made the educated decision to seek out a review of said product on TH-cam, prior to my engagement of purchase. I completely understand why you come back to these items. For example one my personal Taco Bell favorite items is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. Did you know when it originally released it had pepper jack cheese sauce. Now it has the spicy ranch sauce. Both of them are good, but that pepper jack cheese sauce was better. So in reality it’s not the same item even though it appears to be.

If you get only lettuce, sour cream and tortilla in a bite, it’s not good. But when you get cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese sauce, tortilla, the crunchy thing and beef, it makes it so much better.
This is the only fast food review channel I watch. The main reason is the host I enjoy his honesty and that he is genuine, an original for sure, never change bro!
Glad you take your time to try eating the food and actually taste it before you give your opinion. A lot of people who review take a quick bite then rush into saying what they think and that doesn't make sense. You're doing it the correct, honest way. Can you cook. I ate this yesterday. The photo on the menu showed two layers of beef with the two tostadas inside. Well, guess how many layers of beef I got served. One. One layer. No nacho cheese.
I blame the individual franchise owners cutting corners, telling their workers to scrimp on this or that. Or cheapskate owners start running low on a certain ingredient and tell their workers to s-t-r-e-t-c-h them til the next supply delivery.
@@betsybarnicle8016 There is a trend of this happening at many Taco Bells. It's been going on now for a couple of years with it really picking up in the last year. They under-staff as well which lends to it's poor quality of service and food, one of the many contributors. I no longer eat there, it's trash compared to what it once was.

Y'all really have some bad experiences. I have two Taco Bells in my area that load them up with everything.
They never distribute everything evenly! It's very hard apparently. Also I saw zero tomatoes!

I used to work in fast food and to be fair it is hard, simply because you have to assemble everything so quickly. It's cheap and fast for a reason, they cut corners on that kind of stuff for purposes of speed and cost.

I always order the Crunchwrap without lettuce bc they PACK it with lettuce, and nothing else.
I completely understand why you come back to these items. For example one my personal Taco Bell favorite items is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. Did you know when it originally released it had pepper jack cheese sauce. Now it has the spicy ranch sauce. Both of them are good, but that pepper jack cheese sauce was better. So in reality it’s not the same item even though it appears to be.

If you get only lettuce, sour cream and tortilla in a bite, it’s not good. But when you get cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese sauce, tortilla, the crunchy thing and beef, it makes it so much better.

This is the only fast food review channel I watch. The main reason is the host I enjoy his honesty and that he is genuine, an original for sure, never change bro!
Glad you take your time to try eating the food and actually taste it before you give your opinion. A lot of people who review take a quick bite then rush into saying what they think and that doesn't make sense. You're doing it the correct, honest way. Can you cook. If so, I wonder if you should look at doing cooking vlogs as well.
