The Tombstone bars are all slightly different from each other, shape wise and the hammered finish is apparently done by hand (which gives it more variance) before the name and logo are machine pressed on. There are a few videos online showing the bars side by side which does show some are slightly longer or wider than others. It's almost like they cast a giant silver nugget and then cut them up into the various sizes
Hello mate 🤝 hope you're well today, great video and was awesome to see all the gold 🔥 I do love to see it all mate, you got some lovely pieces there👌 hope to see you in stackers social soon bud 🤝 have a good one 🍻
@shaunoliver1703 True. It'll spike up randomly one of these years. Palladium spot is now lower than Platinum whereas it was higher than gold just a couple of years ago. The markup they demand on Palladium bullion is just silly and has kept me from buying any. Have you ever traded Palladium bullion or, dare I ask, Rhodium?
the 2013 "gold" Britt's fake. that's the year they started making 999,9 fine. so that's a fake of the 916 you can tell for the thickness way off and there's none 22k that year.
Wrong I’m afraid. The coin is legitimate. The 2013 is known as the wafer as it was actually a wider and thinner Brit than other .999 years but yes, it’s still a 24ct coin 👍🏼
I'm experienced enough to know that you should talk with conviction when you are 100% - Just because some people say its so it doesnt mean its true. Selling fake gold is bad for business but equally Ive sold so much in terms of coin that if I was to be selling fake coins you would find me buried somewhere under a motorway. A simple check on numista would suffice to check the measurements :)
2013 was a one year version with the large thinner Britannia. In fact it is wider than the 50 pesos. I have one.
50 pesos is a beast of a coin
10:01 actually really like this, didn't know they used to be thinner!
It really confused me at the time - numista is a gift!
A nice variety of gold coins, the Swiss francs piece is beautiful 🙆♂️.
Good to see you back🎉
its not the worst coin to own - I prefer the older shield design but certainly wouldnt turn down this one either :)
Nice bits the whole way through. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Tombstones are hammered.
Thank you!

Thank you for educating me on the matter
Potential massive move happening in silver until year end (I know we say that all the time). Might be worth hanging on for a while
ive always got a back stash but most things just get traded now (rightly or wrongly)

Still waiting for you to join Stackers Social mate
We shall see - you have my number Im sure we can sort something out but equally I am very inconsistent.
Thank you 👍
I wonder why Platinum is still at the same price it was 10 years ago. It's much more rare than gold isn't it?
I have scratched my head over this for a long time - I love platinum it does trade within ranges but it is frustrating.
