In a industry that sells perfect farytale idols BigBang lived their life like the rockstars of the golden age . When you look at them youmust think of Rolling Stones not kpop idols . They were the first to have creative control and they challenged the stereotype. Their music is dose of reality in the fantasy world of kpop . The songs resonate with public because they come from personal experience not coming from a profesional writer imagining some hypotetical situation .

Both the songs are from the MADE series which is essentially a series album that was released over a period of over four months as M, A, D, E series with two title songs being released every month, back in 2015. The MADE album was then released as a complete album with these eight title songs and additional three songs so 11 in total. 11 title songs in an album. All different genres and with different vibes. That is quite possibly the best album to come out of kpop in entirety in my opinion. The two you’ve reacted to makes them seem like they’re party boys but their music is so diverse that if you react more to their other songs you’d know that they’re not just these two songs and the vibe it gives off. Yes. Bigbang were given full creative freedom and they chose to express freely and touched upon all subjects and didn’t shy away from expressing themselves in normal way so they come off as freespirited and partymen in their videos but they’re not just that. Unlike kpop thats restricted and wants to fool everyone to believe theyre some kind of perfect flawless beings with no touch of reality, BB never shied away from being themselves and that’s reflected equally in their creations. Which besides their music is what set them apart then, and even now.
Daesung used to cover his eye all the time because he was insecure.
YG was a small company before BigBang blew and BigBang was their very first idol group. They didn't have the stylists and makeup artists of a big company like SM so the Korean media gave the the nickname of "The ugly idols” they made fun of Daesung saying his eyes were too small for his face so he started covering them but over the years it became his signature look. He doesn't cover them anymore.

"For all the baby VIPs who don't understand symbolisms in the MV. Bae bae is indeed sexual but it also shows different phases of a person's life. I'll tell you about it in the same sequence as members appeared in the video.
First, GD represents puberty, where this boy is curious about opposite sex. He is surrounded by so many females but they are all mannequins which shows he is interested in girls but he's too shy or he doesn't dare to talk to/approach them for real. The angel shows his innocence of being young/his spiritual side but he has this hidden side too.
Taeyang represents the next stage a bit mature where he is so lonely in the beginning (alone on the horse) but finds his special one and is in love now.
T.O.P's part is all about making love and of course having kids in other words getting married and having family.
Daesung's part represents the phase of life where the person is satisfied with being with the love of his life and living happily with her.
Seungri's part represents growing old together (both Ri and his partner has white hair). He is afraid to lose(melting flower) her but as you can see she disappeared and all the members fall slowly which means death.
Now there is a Korean folk tale that an immortal rabbit pounds rice on the moon to make rice cake. So the lyrics our chemistry is like sticky rice cake(chapssalteok chapssalteok gunghabi uri uri gunghabi) represents the eternal love and togetherness even after death. They are enjoying their after life with their partners on moon. Also tear drop, burning windmill, their sad faces has deeper meaning as failed relationship or the hurt they received or mistakes they made when they were in a relationship.
That's what I got after watching that MV more than hundred times and reading tons of comments and reviews from Koreans. Sorry for the long comment I just wanted you to know that BIGBANG has very deep meaning in all their crazy looking MVs.

It seems like YG artists are a little more free in their MVs to have female dancers. Winner especially has female dancers in most of their videos. It’s kind of strange because Winner and YG artists are really popular in SK but there have been other kpop boy groups that have gotten flack from Kfans for dancing with women. It’s kind of hit or miss.
probably because especially for big bang, fans consider them more so as artists than idols - there's less of an idea that they're theirs so they should refrain from dating, etc.

Seungri never had sexual charges against him. He wasn’t even called as a witness to those cases. His cases were mostly business related. Study the different cases, dont put all those cases into one and blame Seungri. If you really care for the victims, you should at least correctly identify the ACTUAL PERPETRATORS. The victims won’t receive the justice they long deserve

At the final trial, the military prosecution requested a sentence of 5 years in prison, and the Ground Operations Command's ordinary military court held a sentencing trial for Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun) and sentenced him to 3 years in prison and a fine of 1.1569 billion won. He also ordered the registration of personal information.
The military judge acknowledged all nine charges against Seungri. Seungri has denied all of these charges. However, the suspicion of Seungri's prostitution was not credible because his statements during the police and prosecution investigations and in court changed slightly and were inconsistent, and the military judge ruled that the prostitution was acknowledged in the statements of the prostitute and the person who sent the woman to Seungri.
Accordingly, Seungri was sentenced to imprisonment or detention for more than 1 year and 6 months in accordance with Article 137 of the Enforcement Decree of the Military Service Act (Changes in Military Service Dispositions for Active-duty Soldiers, etc.), and was transferred to the wartime labor force and forcibly discharged. An arrest warrant was issued for Seungri, who was transferred to the 55th Division Military Police Unit's pretrial detention center and was finally released after serving his 1 year and 6 month prison sentence.
Big bang was great at the time, I can't watch them now as one of their members managed human trafficking for business investors. Sorry, i only watch GDragon and Taeyang. Refer to the Burning Sun documentary and reports with receipts. FYI
