Thank you so much, I really appreciate all the kind things that you said. Yes, snippet rolls really are pretty addictive aren't they? Like you, I really struggle not to overthink, it's something I am trying to work on. Have a lovely weekend x
Luv these tutorials. Brilliant. "Overthinking" is me! !! I'd like to use that term with my grief counseling clients BUT then that is part of why they are in a downer state. Would like to prescribe snippet rolls, videos, doddeling "higgeldy-piggedly art projects. Art does save lives. Thank you for your contribution!!!!!
I love your snippet paper rolls. I have never seen anyone do them with all the interesting pieces. I would love to see you make some things with your rolls.
These are really fun to make and yours are one of the prettiest ones that I have seen. Several people have a video tutorial on how to make them; BUT, I have yet to see a video where anyone uses them on a page. Perhaps I have missed it. . .Yes, perhaps that is the gap in my learning how to build a journal. I make all the pieces and parts and then I am at a loss for how and when to use them.
Thank you so much Teresa, I love making them. You might enjoy this video th-cam.com/video/6dSKMHF5OAM/w-d-xo.html giving some ideas as to how to use them. I have a whole playlist with some more ideas too x
I just went to your etsy and O my Goodness. I just ordered over $25.00 worth of papers. You are so wonderful. I just could go crazy and spend more. I'll have to wait for payday for more.😀😀😀😀😀
21 September 2024 Hi Tina. Just loved that clip. Im new to JJ and plan on making the snippet roll today, thanks to your inspiration. Love your papers too ❤ Cheers Denise B from New Zealand
Love these so much. I already have a bunch. Yours have lots of interesting ideas I want and bought a bunch of your kits. I kept watching then I had to go back and get more. I think that is the first sign of overthinking.
I love this too. I went a little mad while watching this video and purchased 9 of your kits! Oh my. I went on a rampage. Waiting for some card stock to arrive from Amazon so I can print. Thank you for all you do. xx
Good morning Tina, I love, love your snippet roll. I think your choices to put on there is very pretty as well. I’d like to try one when I get further into crafting. It’s always fun to watch you, as it’s one of things I do first up in mornings. Hugs!
I do love your creativity. This is so pretty. I like them staggered and uneven too. It's part of the appeal for me. I love both of these snippets rolls. They are outstanding !!! We are always our own worst critics. I do the same thing thinking that everyone else's are better than mine and later when I look again I'm sometimes surprised that mine are just as nice/ pretty/ awesome as the ones everyone else has made. Sometimes maybe a bit better lol !!! I'm going to have to make some of these. I've done really short ones that can be cut into three pieces, but never one as long as a book page, let alone three or four book pages long !
Its beautiful Tina! Being inspired by you I used the backing paper from a two inch wide double sided tape roll. I had a few long sections from a garden project so I proceeded to sew all of my material scraps onto them randomly. It's a wonderful way to use up your stash and it's so therapeutic. Thank you.
Hello Tina, a rainy Monday here.. just watch you make these lovely snippet rolls, they turned out beautiful as usual😊... I am going to try to attempt this later today or tomorrow.. saved this video so I can follow along... Thanks for sharing and for all you do to keep our stay at home so much better... Take care and stay healthy ♥️
Beautiful,,, snippet roll I made one today nothing like yours today... overthinking mine & small pieces. I need to get your collections & start again! Very beautiful & thanks for sharing 🤗😊
Love these and they ARE addictive. I used strips of full-page mailer labels to make my first..But I like the book text idea and will try that for my next snippet rolls. Yours are lovely.
Tina, your snippet paper rolls look so interesting. I have made one just from some pieces laying on my desk after some other projects and I'm happy I tried that. Already used my snippet too. After watching this I could try to make one more. Thanks for always being inspiration for me.
Hi Tina. I was waiting to see another one of your snippet rolls. I’m so glad to see two of them. Before I make one myself I’m going to download one of your digitals for my inspiration. Bye for now
...there's something about doing snippets that helps me to relax...there's no pressure, whatever happens is OK....;-) Love yours, very inspiring...thanks for your sharing....
Fantastic....and for once it got me 'doing' and I made my own...... instead of book pages, I used old till receipts....I do a lot of market research with them! Hope you are keeping well.
Loved this , ty. You make me laugh when you decide to do something , then contradict yourself and do something else. I do that all the time. Lol. Please can you show us when you use these on your journals/ cards etc. Would love to see a finished article in a tutorial. ❤️😀. Pouring with rain here in Cornwall. At least it’s not snow. Lol xx
Thank you Carole. You might enjoy this video th-cam.com/video/6dSKMHF5OAM/w-d-xo.html using snippet rolls to make ephemera. Yes it's been pouring here all day too, like you say at least it's not snowing x
I wanted to try to help you with your sewing machine issues. You can sew thru sticky stuff for a little bit but then the needle gets gummed up. You can stop and clean it with goo gone and then go a bit further but you will have to continue to stop and clean. You can try a drop of sewing machine oil on the needle as well that may keep the adhesive from sticking to it.
Tina, I hope you’re correct. I’m always scared of things that have lots of insane fussy cutting or ornate designs that are to be fussy cut. I’ve got an eye issue that prevents my eyes from working together therefore I have no depth perception. I think it’s distracting when I cut but I’m getting much better each time. ☺️☺️❤️
Beautiful. I will be making one today for sure. I started more card bases with glued napkins and I want to see if I can combine them. I am trying not to make the cards bulky because of postage. ❤
Great idea Laura, you inspired me to do something else with these, which I just filmed this morning, although it won’t be up for probably a couple of weeks x
Hi, I was wondering if you are getting your pile of scraps down on your desk now? You have been doing many things to use up scraps lately and having lots of fun.
Haha, oh Joy you would think wouldn’t you? However, sadly I have been working on so many different projects that the pile is higher than ever.......might have to do another little week of working from my desk 🤗🤭 x
@@shabbydabbydoodah new projects are so much fun! Guess most of us don't ever get to the end of the scraps. I would have my grandson collage some pages, he sees things differently that I do and is very creative.
Hi. I enjoy your creations and tutorials. I'm just wondering how I would use this? How do I repurpose it in the Journals. I am a newbie to junk journaling. So, please be very specific and patient with me.
Oh Tina! I’ve sat here for just a little while now, mesmerised by what you’ve done. It’s really quite adorable, but I have to ask... what on earth are you going to do with it now? The video just finished. Bam. Finishito. You said goodbye & rode off into the sunset quite abruptly. You totally left me hanging, like is that what you’re going to do? Hang it up somewhere? All those gorgeous flowers, and birds, and black & whites, and mushrooms. The MUSHROOMS Tina, what are you doing with all of those mushrooms? Where are are you taking them? Do you know how much I’ve spent (Australian dollars) on Tom Hiltz ephemera packs just to get good mushroom? Now all I can think about is eating a sausage roll, but the only place open is the servo down the road cause it’s now 2am in the flipping morning! Shabbydabbydoodah indeed. 🍄😉 (I’m actually dead on serious... what do you do with it now?) 😂
hey Tina... I'm loving this idea :D can I please ask... where are those portrait image from & the other images in frames please?? I really need some of those for my collection I have started building ;) hehehe TFS.. take care & stay safe xXx
