!!Disclaimer!! Do not drive car in motion with this setup, it is not secure to anything for driving.
An alternative is to mount only 1 seat in reverse and shift it to the center rather than to the side, it then only needs a support (easily done with wood) for 1 side. In this position, the seat folds all the way back nicely between the front seats, so it can function as chair, recliner, or bed, and this center position provides a great view and easy access to both side windows, moonroof, and both dome lights.
That's a good idea but without having to make any modifications, I'll stick with this method.
Do you have photos?
@@monasnape5309 No but itâs very simple to try itâĶ just fold 1 seat up to the side, remove the other chair and reverse it in the center latching the 1 side and just place a few inches of wood blocks, or similar, under the other side.
Thank you for whoever is watching âĪ
Thank you for sharing! ððŧðð
@@ExtremeAwesomeness Always great to hear from you ð
Please note: Do not drive with people on the seats like that. They are not connected to the side mounts and is unsafe.
Yes correct thank you for pointing this out.
Looking into an Element and wonder about the comfort of the seats and does it ride rough..I have a back issue so it's important to me..thanks
My wife and I have back issues one of the things I love about this car is the high seating position it feels like you are sitting in chair if that makes since. What I am trying to say it's comfortable to get in and out of I think that's why it was so popular with older people. I will say the seats aren't anything fancy but I am more comfortable in this car on long trips rather than our newer Accord. If you tune and adjust your suspension you will have a smooth ride.
That's nifty!
Right ?
I need to get back in the element game!
Your van and truck are super cool though. You gotta let me do a video of your build one day ð
@@ReadySetElement sure. They are both in pieces right now. Haha

Thank you ð
Neat, will it work with just one seat or does it need to push against the other one?
It needs both of them for it to stay up. Warning not to drive with anyone in that position.
No driving with anyone in the seats, got it. But can you drive with the seats positioned like this permanently? Or do they just wobble like crazy?
You can drive like this with no passengers and they don't move at all.
Do the seats just click in normally, when reversed, as they would in the regular position? Kinda a weird question. I hope you understand me. ðĪ·
So what is the table?

@Elementdriven
Do they atach to the sides, or just to the floor?
