- Did my best to show the location of the flasher on a 04-08 F-150 and show you the easiest fastest way possible to fix this hyper flashing issue.
Things needed:
Novita EP27 Electronic Flasher
Body panel or upholstery clip tool
Zip tie or 2 sided tape
Something to cut your zip tie with
And a flashlight
Hopefully this video helps you out

Wow I found the blue clip under the dash and I asked someone at advanced auto parts for this part and they sold me a load resistor. I am overnighting an novita 37 and returning the load resistors. Thank you man this was very helpful
Just watched your video, bought the EP27 and in less than 30 minutes my turn signals are working correctly. Thanks.
Just changed mine in my '04 F150.
Thank You for this great video. Made changeover simple and stress free. Well done.
I had to watch 3 videos until I found this one that shows how to release the blue clip! Thanks!
Pure and simple. I feel like I know just what to do when my EP27 gets here tomorrow.
Thanks to Charlie, I knew exactly which trim tool to use and where to pry to preserve the mounting bracket. Done in less than five minutes with a pry tool, zip tie, and nipper pliers as shown.
This is hands down the best install video ever. Simply due to how straightforward he is and the lack of promoting bs. Thank you bro, ya earned a follow!
Saved a lot of trouble! Thanks Man!
Such a helpful video bud....much appreciated 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Stopped and got mine today from Auto Zone. Works good. Thanks for your video. Saved me alot of hassle.
I actually went to O'Reilly's first. They didn't have a clue.🤪
No problem
Thank you for the video.. I just put my relay in today
Straightforward and easy instructions thanks boss
Saved my mental state brother! Pefect video
I just got switchbacks for the front of mine but got led on my brake lights and halogen on the front currently and it hyper flashes. Im going to put the switchbacks on and get that relay and give it a try.
Thanks for the video. Really is a lifesaver
Thanks for the video! I have a '13, it it's in the similar location.
You can also remove the end cap (dash end cap) and reach in from the side with the door wide open.
Thank you for this tip! Made it much easier to get to.
@@lifespent You're welcome! Glad somebody finally noticed 😁
Thanks for the video it was of great help
Great video thanks the resistor route is just too time consuming
Way better than putting a set of resistors on all four corners and making it actually energy efficient 👍🔥🤠 not bad for 15$
Worked like a charm. THANKS
You can jam the blue clip into that metal bracket and it will break apart. Of course then you can't use a direct replacement but the after market EP27 dont use that clip anyway.
Well explain brother thanks👍🏻✊🏻
Worked perfect only thing is the new relay does not have the clip but f** it I just crapped it back under there
Tkx for the info. Worked like a charm.
Thanks so much!! Greetrings from México!! ✌️
No problem
Your dog:"Hey, dad! Wot ya doing'?"
Cool video thanks brother. I think ya dog wants to help out 😄
Nah we got like 3 yard dogs. Thank you though
Thank you brother!
Thanks for the video man !
You’re the best bro!!!!
Haha thanks no problem
Thank you!!
What if I put some LED headlights in the same truck you have? Do I need a part for that as well?
Usually when you buy an led conversion kit for the headlights it comes with everything you need. Just do some research on led conversations of headlights.
Great video!
Ryan 2727 thanks just trying to make it a little easier for others
Thank you bro!
Thank you
Doesn't work for Lasfit red brake/turn bulbs though. Stuck on bright.
Bulb type, may have their own drivers built into the bulb.
@@Buckbuster88 I got a different brand LED for the F150 rear brake/turn and the new EP27 relay was fine.
What if my brake lights stay on but don’t get brighter and the turn signals click fast??
I'd assume you have 2 seperate problems. Hyperflash and need to replace the flasher like I did and your brake switch may be bad or it's grounding out somewhere causing the brake lights to stay on.
Is this the same for a 2006 Ford explorer?
As long as the flasher is the same. Obviously the install may be different.
@@Buckbuster88 I meant the location of the relay
I can't say one way or the other. I have no experience with that.
Good video
Does it mess up cruise control???
No your turn signals have nothing to do with your cruise control
What bulbs are you running
I don't remember but I got them from CarID
Thanks man
Fantástico buena información gracias
Mine is the rear right blinker
Where did you buy the relay?
Ryan 2727 advance auto. You should be able to get it at any auto parts store.
Charlie Stabler thank you! I've found a bunch of fakes on Amazon. What kind of LED's did you use? How are they holding up? I'm struggling to find quality ones.
I went to CarID.com but F150leds.com is good too.
How many led can it. Hold??
Cris E all my lights are led
Tried Napa ep-27 nothing
My guess it's not an LED flasher. Novita is.
I think your right autozone says they have novita ty bro.
THANKS
