Good to finally see someone else who has figured this trick out. I think I put that exact relay in my truck for my LEDs front and back. ALSO, we are in the same area and should definitively do a meetup between our two channels at some point! It would be cool to make some content together.

That must be why BMW drivers don't use their signals..

I've always thought this was how you would fix it. When people started altering their wiring and trying different resistors I kept thinking, why do it the hard way and screw up your factory wiring, just change the relay.

    I just did that
    I have a problem though
It works good but it clicks when the flashers are not switched on
    Idk what to do! Thanks

I was trying to do the same led blinkers on my 99 chevy malibu, and my left blinker was acting just as weird. I'm guessing it's my flasher relay being incompatible with my led bulbs.

The new relay should come wit the clicking sound to remind some deaf idiots that their turn signals has been going on for the lat 10 kilometers in a straight line

I have this same one installed in my truck. It was OK for a bit but now it makes a nice electrical buzz noise instead of the regular "click". Yours still working OK?

Does this work for only 2004-2009 vehicles? Is it possible it’ll fit in a Toyota Camry 2017?

  • @williamclick9771

You did what I did. My late cousin gave me his father's 2000 Toyota Camry LE. I didn't want to cut the wires on the Camry. I had a friend that worked at AutoZone. He was the one the sold me the Novita EP35 Electronic Flasher. It works with both standard and led bulbs. The hyper flash was so fast that the leds just stayed on with the old flasher. I did some research first before I got the new flasher. The only thing I don't like with the new flasher is you can't hear it click when you use the blinkers. That's okay I've gotten use to it. My Camry is almost all led now. The dashboard cluster, shifter console, and glove box are the only things that need to be changed now. I really enjoy the Camry. I'm doing a little bit of customizing on the Camry as well.

    non-pro tip:
It's easier to get to that relay by removing the ash tray above the transmission tunnel, and reaching in through there.
Hope that helps in the future.
    Great video!

I own a 2002 Ford Taurus. I have replaced head light lamps and my turn signal bulbs. I also changed out my turn signal relay with one that was LED compatible. It all works. My tail lights are still incandescent bulbs, the brake lights and turn signals are not separate (no yellow light just white and red). If I were to change to LEDs on those, would the new turn signal relay compensate for that as well? Just curious. I wouldn't want there to be a possible conflict in operation seeing as my brake lamps are also turn signals on back as well.

I had the rapid blinking left rear break light also the rear left light went out first the right was affected there was no break light until I replaced the left rear bulb they both work perfectly in a Jeep Renegade
The relays system in your Truck interesting to the same experience!!!

I have a 2005 6.0L when I switch to LEDs & had the hyper flash. Another channel, Fix it Nick had the same problem & gave the part link as well. He has a 7.3L F350.
Unfortunately, my XLT trim made me remove the kick plate. I had to replace my trailer brake controller as well! What a job! Now I get a beep from my backup sensors when in reverse. I don’t know what I did but it’s a bonus!
I love your channel’s content. Thinking about upgrading my starter after seeing your video on that but it’s going to wait till spring for warmer Pittsburgh weather, Lol!
