Great video review. I have both the 805CB and 806CB and concur fully with your thoughts. The 806CB is also great for throwing lighter umbrella rigs! I also have the 794SB, and it is a terrific umbrella rig rod and throws the 10XD very well too. 👍

Thank you!! I've heard the 794 is a great 10xd rod too, I may have to check one out eventually

I love my 804, I use it for a Dt8/10 and to lift and drop the Ark LP58 and the Lucky Craft LV500. Paired with a Curado MGL 10-12 Sniper

The 804 was too much rod for me because it felt (tip)heavy. The 764 could do the same like the 804 but was super light and super well balanced. The 805 is an awesome rod for sure. It says casting weight 1 1/2 OZ max. but this rod can handle more than 2 Oz.

I was wonder how this rod would handle walleye style crankbaits such as reef runner 800 series and bigger fish such as salmon from the Great Lakes ?

Can you change your title? I was looking for the 7 footer series

Can't believe I didn't catch this mistake! Sorry about that, and thank you for pointing it out to me
