Enjoyed the video, brother! I’ve been wanting a new chatterbait and crankbait rod, and now I know what I’m going to get. Enjoyed re-meeting you, too! Thanks for the tips, freebies, and fellowship. Blessings on “Fish to Win” and on your journey as well.
I enjoyed your technical preferences. I own quite a few of these as well. Funny to come across this video a few years after you posted it. Mostly as I went offline from Google products for a while, decided to search up videos of my favorite Dobyns HP rods and found yours. Cheers.
I've been using the 704cb as my jerkbait rod for the past 5 years and it is without a doubt the best jerkbait rod I've ever used, you will love it my friend.
Hey bud have a good time with your new rod's. I have to buy the fury series I don't have a budget like that. But that company makes rods that are so well balanced thanks for the video maybe down the road I'll be able to afford a couple champions. Anyway have a great fishing season this year and God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike from Missouri.
I own all those Rods except the flipping stick. Mines a little shorter. Excellent reviews made me feel good we matched up so well. Enjoy you vids always learn something.
I fish the north end of Pickwick mainly.... What do you think about the 795Flip for a Carolina Rig Rod? I like having a less flimsy rod for deeper water (usually with current) and a lot of line out. I currently have the 784 Xtreme for that and it is good but...
DC734C Champion XP - we do not have any of the Champion series yet. : ) My boy is just starting getting into competition. We already broke a Dobyn's Rod, and already replaced it by using the discount warranty the company offers. Love the rods. Thanks for the video.
If you had to pick just 5 rods what ones would you choose for the weekend tournament guy. I've been looking at the champion and Kaden series. Don't know much about them. I have mostly St. Croix and one Sam Sobi series dobyns now but I like the feel of them and want a few more. I don't throw big swimbaits.

Dobyns are nice always, even taking mine calico bass fishing
What a haul! Good luck this year.
I think I was as excited as you were for the new sticks...and I did not even get a new rod!!!

The 765 crankbait rod for jig hook style swimbaits? A fast taper rod will do a lot better.
I have 14 Dobyns rods and love them all 👊
Do you think that 795 will hold up to punching with a 1oz weight?
I got the 735 glass for Christmas. It’s my first big kid rod.

That would work!!

736 glass is hands down the best chatter bait rod I’ve used. I don’t own one but used one and the feel amazing for chatter baits
I own it. It sticks em. But the rod itself is heavy. I liked using the Shimano zodias mh glass
Would enjoy your thoughts on the finesse casting rods
Do you have any xtasy? The drx724c and drx725c are great! Also, the drx722sf! Great vid! 👍
Im about to pull the trigger on a 734 or 744 for my t rigs and light flipping
What weight jigs do you throw on the Champ XP DC744? How do you like it around laydowns?
Up to an ounce
@@AlabamaBassGuide thank you for
The reply. Would you feel comfortable throwing Flippin jigs near big laydowns with that rod?

What’s the difference in the XP in the HP rods I like the orange rods over the blue rods crazy
U don’t know
Total weight and sensitivity. HP's are physically lighter and they slightly more sensitive.
That 7'9" Flip stick would be enjoyable to have on deck at all times..
Dobyns champion xp rods are number 1 bar none for under 450 bucks and are only 200 to 250. I have 10 now.
What should I get for swim bait up to 3onces thanks
8footer
Don't sleep on that 736 glass for making precision casts with light a rigs
This dude is so rick to get that much dolphin champion rod... I almost can't afford one lucky dude

Id love to know what ppl do for a living to go drop 3 grand on rods every season
