Well played! I was 24 years with the Bugles Pipes and Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment. The Battle’s o’er lyrics: I returned to the fields of glory Where the green grasses and flowers grow, And the wind softly tells the story Of the brave lads of long ago. Chorus: March no more my soldier laddie There is peace where there once was war. Sleep in peace my soldier laddie, Sleep in peace, now the battle's over. In the great glen they lay a sleeping Where the cool watеrs gently flow And the gray mist is sadly weeping For those bravе lads of long ago Chorus: See the tall grass is there awaiting As their banners of long ago With their heads high forward threading Stepping lightly to meet the foe. Chorus Some return from the fields of glory To their loved ones who held them dear But some fell in that hour of glory And were left to their resting here. We will remember them.
We no longer play Bonnie Dundee in my pipe band. I would suggest Muckin 'O' Geodie's Byre - Bonnie Dundee. Like the famous CD with The Bilston Glen pipe band
Thank you for your concern but the room is 3 times as big as you can see, the entire back wall is lined with sound deadening acoustic panels and no wall ends up to the ceiling. All use earplugs from RG Hardie or special individually manufactured 🤗
Good to HEAR. I'm thinking there could be a small pocket device that automatically registers decibels and reduces external noise as they begin and returns to normal than they stop. The devise could be wired to small earbud like earplugs. Just thinking of saving others hearing.
You're right. However, it often depends on your wifi connection. There may be a 0.7 second delay when using external microphones. Today I use a software program that fixes the problem. Thanks for your attention.
0:16 thank you for sharing, the need to remember is blessed by your harmonies. ❤️
Classic 3/4s! Lovely seconds and great tempo!
Always two lovely tunes if played with heart and focus. But two rare birds as they are mostly used for warming up
@@88Ralph1 We use them with Lochanside as a marching 3/4 set.
One of the cleanest recordings of this out there. Both in terms of musicality and audio quality
well performed and the tunes are well classic and bring more tunes richard
Thank you very much. You are quite right
Very clean, well done.
Thank you very much
audio is GOOD on this. Excellent recording.
Many thanks. It is a so-called X-Y microphone setup. That unfortunately causes a slight time delay on the video
POV: you’ve been tuning for an hour and you still can’t figure out who’s flat
Very well played, gentlemen! You're an inspiration to me my friends!
Thank you very much. I am happy to hear that.
It's so great to hear this song ❤ still popular 😍🥰
