Coming down the aisle......... from Glasgow, Scotland, weighing in at 230 lbs, he is the World Wrestling Federation INTERCONTINENTAL champion....Rowdy....Roddy...Piper!!!!!
I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I absolutely love to watch this. I love the immaculate drill, the music, and the fact Scotland parades her victorious warriors before the public. And on the other hand, as someone who’s also deployed to shitholes for months and months on end, the last thing I want to do when I get home is to be in a military parade. Give me a couple months of R&R, alcohol, and leave me alone lol.
I was in the Dutch military, never deployed but friends were of course. Dutch military doesn't do anything like this, instead you get what you somewhat describe: couple weeks of r&r on some Greek island with ur company. They said it felt very surreal to come back home without getting any sort of recognition from the people.
As a U.S. Marine Infantry vet all I can say is that this makes you wanna seek out, locate, close with, and absolutely destroy the enemy-love the officers & Claymores
I love this. After over 20 years, and leading a Regiment, I got to interact with allot of foreign troops. I enjoyed watching the UK soldiers for their precision and damn I love that arm swing of theirs. Like watching the Canadians roll in from the movie "The Devils Brigade". That Bass Drummer, sets the cadence. This video is longer, he must of hit that drum 12k times. Also enjoyed the respect of the Battalion commander when they did an "Eye's Right", to a group of Govt and Veterans. Was nice. I have marched with different troops from many different countries during NATO exercises and coming home. Makes you very proud. And yes, some of those soldiers with weapons, have live rounds in them, not all for show.

There's nothing like listening to a marching pipe and drum band it puts chills through your body just amazing how they could do this in a black watch fantastic I give this video five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯👍❤️
These guys are absolutely fantastic they look tired but what I love is watching the base drummer as it looks like he's trying to beat someone's head in the way he wack's that drum but they raise up my spirit up when I'm down thank you Jim and thank you to all those young men God bless you all

A friend just told me that this same tune is what the Scottish Highlanders of Balaclava were using and it originated and still in use today. God bless Scotland

This is the absolute best tune on pipes and drums. Drums are stellar, and the pipes... My God.

Too bad Scotland dishonored her ancestors by willingly staying in the UK. All her forefathers died in vain on that day. What a shame.
