Mr G. Lapinski got a pretty nice watch from "only" Ten Years of Service. Or was it a Tenth Anniversary Gift? ; ) So nice a restoration that that same watch could be given again next year 2022 as a commemoration of long service, this time for 70 Years.
I notice the date wheel is a bit misaligned, the date shows too high. I got a Tissot with the sme movement and the date wheel on that is also misaligned but too low. Is this something that can be adjusted??
most likely, worn springs, calendar mechanism. I tried to fix it, to no avail. I left it like that, you would have to look for new parts, but used ones are a lottery
if there were gaskets, they should be. but vintage watches are not waterproof (that's my opinion) even with new gaskets. I don't even wash hands in my watch. you would have to replace everything crown tube (crown gasket), check the glass well (vintage is usually plexiglass). Too much can happen, better not to risk
I have inherited my late grandfathers 1972 Seastar. It hasnt been worn for at least 20 years and is running ridiculously fast. What would be the average cost for a service?
@@Karol235 Thanks for the answer. I have a Constant watch that doesn't have a number on it. And she needs stem where do you think I can find a spare parts site to buy for it? Thanx
Keep playing this music I'll watch everyday
Thanks for this. Loved the music as it made it more relaxing. I'm going to play classical, including Vivaldi's 4 Seasons, during my watch work!

The name of the tool you are using to fit/tight the crown?
hello
pin tongs, nothing special
Very good job! How do you know when a screw has a left thread?
hello, there are additional vertical stripes on the screw (sometimes only one)
@@Karol235 Thank you.
What’s is your opinion of putting on gaskets / seals in where there were none there before you got the broken watch?

Hi my friend. How do you know which stem for this watch ? Thanx
each "better" movement is numbered, ie caliber. You choose the stem to the caliber from the catalog

@@Iraqua caliber must be on the mechanism, on some bridge or under balance. without it you will not get a good stem
@@Karol235 Yes, thank you very much. I will try to implement it. I wish you good luck and more videos than we saw
@@Iraqua thank you

Don't make my mistake. Avoid this type of music.
Thank you for the advice, all new movies are already without music
