Nice features but not enough to make me stop using my Bluetti AC180s which are $100 cheaper. I started using the Pecron E3600lfp based on your video and the fact that it is so small for the power it provides and fits in the former space of my AC180 I am going this way for my portable camp setup. The extra Pecron battery should arrive this week giving me almost 6000 wh of battery capacity. The little pecron 500 watt dc charger with the 400 watts of Cigs panels make it a complete package. Thanks to HOBOtech for all the information and links that I used to assembly my array.
They just keep getting better...BUT...the inability to independently charge the extra battery is a real bummer. Give us a way to take that battery outside and charge it!!
Love Ecoflow products, I just wish this had a higher capacity DC output, like a 30 amp anderson pull, to power small campers, trailers and heaters. More and more small camper/trailer manufacturer builds just allow you to plug into your power station for 12v power rather than having their own internal build electric system.
I like that they are adding UPS. I could play my power company more on the overpriced peek power (UPS + Home Assistant Timer). Just need them to send me one for review. Crap I still need to review a generator I've had for a while. I've almost cleared my review list. The generator is the last and hardest review I need to make. Hmm Peek power upc may not work because of the loss on the AC inverter.
EcoFlow is a high-quality product with high-quality engineering, so I don't understand why they would severely hamstring this device by not allowing you to alternator charge with the extra battery attached??? Pecron can alternator charge the solar generator and the attached batteries through the solar connections. I guess you could charge it with the Pecron alternator charger instead.
...as is their custom, still not much amps out from the DC side of things. I wonder why people choose this brand over another which would yield 25A/30A DC out for a fridge, small fan, LEDs, etc...
As good as this new model seems it still misses the boat for me in that the 12Volt DC Out is STILL limited to a max 10amp output! This would be a slam dunk decision if it had a 12Volt DC 20 or 30 amp output either Powerpole, XT30 or 60, or aviation Plug. Why was Bluetti the ONLY brand to ever do this and only once?
is it possible to link two of these together using pass through charging on the front and use the alternator charger to charge both that way? then add a 200w panel for the second rear charging port of the second unit? I guess you would still have to disconnect when using it but would hold an a/c unit(500btu) much longer without the extra cost of the actual battery. (truck topper camper a/c)
Thank you for the great review. This is certainly better than the Delta 2 in many ways such as the two XT60i 500 watt charging ports . The parasitic drain is too high tho. It would be nice if they can address that. Well done with the right angle connectors as well. I am also impressed with the Dual Fuel Gen controller... very awesome. I do like front mounted Receptacles, but also would like some on the back too. Thanks for the review!
I'm glad I waited. This Delta 3 plus is exactly what I wanted out of the Delta 2. It is confirmed that you _can_ hook up the Delta 3 pro 4kw extra battery add-on to this unit, which is pretty neat. C:

Some shops in Japan already had Delta 2s for ¥75,000 before this even came out, hope they drop into the fifties! (Lab1 are still trying to shift Delta 2s for ¥130,000 lol)
Ordered mine with alternator charger and even after tax was still under 1k if this can handle my little fortress compressor from harbor freight then it should handle my cooking stuff too and at first i was worried about the capacity but it charges so fast ot really shouldn't be an issue
EcoFlow has the habit of getting it nearly perfect only to throw a wrench into the mix that makes the decision hard. Parasitic/idle drain test on AC drains it in a day? What were they thinking? What is the inverter using 40 watt per hour for?
I’m seeing Ecoflow mention recharging from an inverter generator. Will a standard generator (modified sine-wave) not work as this is what I currently have. Thanks for the help
If it doesn't have a one of those power bricks on the charging cable (charger built-in the PS) then most likely it will not like the non pure sine signal. Usually the super compact power stations will have an external ac/dc power brick that would work. You could use a generic ac/dc charger that works in the voltage/amp range of the solar input for use with modified sine. Edit: probably won't match the fastest AC charge, but better than nothing.
Anything with computer chips, like a modern BMS, will be cooked. You could build a super-basic one with a lead-acid battery and simple inverter, but even then your charge controller might be in trouble, as well as delicate connections in the panels themselves. I just keep a clockwork Columbia record player around, at least I can die to some oldies.
Thanks for doing the review. One thing that would help with the UPS mode is a USB connection to a PC with software to monitor the unit, plus shut down the PC after X amount of time on the UPS, etc. This is a normal feature of UPSs, so the PC does not crash if the power outage is longer than the battery. Not having that is keeping me from buying a unit like this as a UPS.
@@macy1066 it supports NAS system, which tells the computer to save data and shutdown safely when battery level is low, is that not what you were saying?

It took some digging on their website to find this: "Monitor the battery level of your power station, ensuring it acts as an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) for key equipment. Receive alerts when the battery is low." But... it lists the software as "Coming soon." Also, it does not state it will shut down the PC.

The UPS is rated for 10 ms, not 20 ms. It can even connect to computer to tell it to save and shutdown before battery dies.
