I'm not at interested in a 4runner even though they're awesome, but I have to watch the video nonetheless because Jeff is so much fun to watch 👍. Jeff you should sell those jackets, put a small "toyotajeff reviews" logo on it some place. I for one would buy one! The knuckle holder looks handy!
It has the 3rd row seating and Predator package that aren't available on the Off-Road. Off-Road isn't really a higher trim than SR5 per se, they are very similarly equipped and priced with the premium package. The off road just has the off road goodies, the SR5 has a higher payload rating, available 3rd row, and more total cargo space because of how the seats fold.
For years I’ve wanted one but with that 5 speed auto and 16 mpg plus in the $50K+ range no thanks! My sienna and Camry are doing just fine and hopefully I won’t need another vehicle for at least 8-10 years
They could keep the 5th gen around for another 5 years and it would continue to sell great, much to the dismay of the obnoxious critics. It won't happen, but that would be so awesome 😅
Yes, the seating position is more like a truck for the runner, whereas the Tacoma it's like your sitting in a camry/car. There is also a liiiiittle bit more headroom for the 4runner as well if your 6ft or taller.
The most Useless remote start ever cant start from more than 40ft away and shuts down when you unlock. And app only allows 1 user. No power lift gate. Cant disable adaptive cruise control. Cant go to a drive in theater as lights cant be turned off. Other than that i love my 4runner lol
Nice try Jeff. We know that’s a 2010!!!! 😂😂😂 For real though. I guarantee between the new GX550, LC, and unannounced 4R…..my 2008 sequoia with 219k miles will be have a sibling to park next to my wife’s 2022 rav4 XSE!
Depends on the needs. Every trim has its own purpose. Limited - On road, TRDs - Off pavement, SR5 - can haul more people (7 seat option just like Limited) and more cargo (more payload than TRDs) yet go offroad (Having high clearance bumper, high clearance rocker panels, high profile tires).
I own the 2015 sr5 paid under 30 k I'll wait for the 2040 !
In any light, the 4runner is a winner
Keeping my 07 V8 until the wheels fall off.
@Timnguyen819 you nailed it...

No thanks. $54 is the same price as a Limited.
Jeff, Who is the camera operator for this lively masterpiece of fact-filled 4Runner fun? 🤔🤩
Savannah is!!!
@@Toyotajeff 👍
I got a SR5 Premium in Barcelona Red, with the A/T Nitto 17in Tires.
This is 15k more than I thought it was going to be.
Love the 5th gen SR5 Premiums!
Ouch that price. Rather get a Landcruiser.
How is this the same price as the solar octane one you reviewed?
It was a TRD off road premium with the same packages
It has the 3rd row seating and Predator package that aren't available on the Off-Road.

does the sr5 premium come with the 360 view camera? multi terrain camera
Great review! A TRD premium with kdss stickers for less than that. The tires on the XP package are better than those on the premium though
KDSS is trash

タイヤ🛞 NITTO ?
Made in USA ?

Is the 4Runner more comfortable on the legs than the Tacoma? Do you sit higher in a 4Runner than the Tacoma.

SR5 is cool 😎
OMG, Toyota finally changed reading light to LED bulbs.
I think its part of XP package. I could be wrong.
Why it has the pro grill ? Is it option to add
Yes, same with the wheels

MARVELOUS....SIMPLY MARVELOUS 🤌
Knuckle holder
No black lug nuts for that price 😢
$54,000 for old technology, no thanks. Rather wait & see the 2025 when ever they come out. They'll probably be in the lower $60,000 range.
And with a 4 cylinder
This old tech has proven itself as ‘bulletproof’ - and the 5th gen design is iconic at this point
will have to just alittle more expensive than a Tacoma, if they make it too expensive people will just buy a new Land Cruiser
Those land cruisers are going to go for WAY over MSRP, and will have a wait list.
Old technology ,old vehicle.. terrible gas guzzler.. overpriced by 15 grand...Easy pass..

Step up the bucks.......get a Limited.......it's worth it...........
A lot of people don’t like the look of those compared to the sr5, trd

Videos would be much better without all the silliness.. IJS
