A very good start !! but ……. ‘Information’ - what exactly is ‘information’ !!????? …… and where & how does it fit into the greater scheme of things….. ?? However surprisingly, few if any persons (expert & lay alike) appear to know that currently a properly scientifically/mathematically rigorous identity & definition of ‘information’ simply does not exist. Equally absent is a full science of the phenomenon. As ‘information’ turns out to be not only a distinct phenomenon in its own right but also an eminently identifiable/definable/observable/measurable one, no especial difficulty attends the exercise of showing that it is both an integral & ubiquitous feature/aspect/property of our universe, while in the current woeful absence of our understanding thereof at this basic & all encompassing level virtually everything else - time, space, matter, energy, life, agency, autopoiesis & the self (to far less than exhaust the list) - remains at best incomplete, & not infrequently in no uncertain (provable) error. (‘Life, the universe & everything’ !) Currently, one of our more egregious errors is to imagine that ‘bits’, bytes & digits are units, or ensembles, of information, & that all mental, psychic, mindful, perceptual, conceptual phenomena such as ‘thought’, ‘mind’, ‘intelligence’, ‘cognition’, ‘understanding’ & ‘consciousness’ (etc) are computationally tractable. Not so. Once ‘information’ is correctly identified & defined it becomes eminently clear that bits & digits are not information & that however computationally proficient they may be, no ‘bit-using’ machine, system or device (no matter how numerous, large, fast, powerful & globally interconnected) can actually think let alone do so either intelligently or consciously, nor with slightest modicum of understanding. Indeed computers (& calculators, etc) turn out to be nothing more than massively ramped up, super charged, electronically automated abacuses - coloured beads-on-strings counting devices. Devices which programmed to do so can only add & subtract, multiply & divide. ‘Thought’, ‘mind’, ‘intelligence’, ‘cognition’, ‘understanding’ & ‘consciousness’ are all information-related phenomena and it is not difficult to show that one of the principal reasons we have not so far come to any good, proper & fully verifiable understanding of these otherwise greatly sought-after yet still highly mysterious phenomena is due in great part to the simple fact that we do not presently also have a good & proper, fully verifiable understanding of ‘information’ itself. And the manner in which both information itself & all of the phenomena closely related thereto differ from mere counting & calculating. If you have an Aqua Cure machine that produces H302, over time the bubbler produces solid pieces of plasma. The only thing in the bubbler is distilled water and H302. Our skies were filled with H302 before the Great Flood. When H3O2 is condensed to liquid form it becomes deuterium depleted water (primary water.) There is endless amounts of DDW below our feet but slaves arent allowed to drink it. Most people are drinking pissed filled water and eating fake food believing we are on a spinning ball. Kind of funny when you start thinking about it.
