Darrin Montgomery mvp will be recked soon he lunches a jab, the point im making is who would you want to fight if you didnt know Jones or machida, i would be way more cautious of machida, and thats saying cause I already know them
cypresspuz Was on roids in trace amounts because of his manager, look up his manager, three of his other guys were on tainted shit and denied taking it intentionally, can’t believe people are still on about this.
Just wanted to say thank you for this video! I saw it yesterday and today while sparring, I attempted a double-leg takedown and it was countered. Shortly after that I started another DLT then, as you suggested in the video, I switched to an overhand right as he countered the TD and caught him square in the chin!
Shane, when do we get a US FightCamp tour? Love to see it. Cool kid you've got on board here, Cachero has a smart teaching style with good techniques. I like that he can wear a cool personal logo shirt w/o it being his name in big letters too. Wearing your own name seems pretentious to me. Thanks again
Hello Shane, do you remember, in the video with Ryan he said "sometimes you know you are gonna hit" well ive been sparring with my brother almost everyday for 4 month now and i think we start to understand what he was saying. other than guessing when your opponent has the intention to throw(wich is pretty usefull in the inside) we just ended up reading each other rythme better and better until we would feel any weird rythmes possibles and well so the goal of that is to : hit your opponent when his body mass is "traveling in the air", from his back foot to his front foot. you will think its not obvious at all because the steps are so small but you are not reading each steps, you are reading the global rythme and at some point you know the limits of the " groove"/breakdancingxD skillz of your opponent each time the mass is about to leave the back foot you have a little "tilt", like you know that little satisfaction thing, meaning that you dont think about it you jsut focus on OUT rythme your opponent its exactly like feeling the kick and the snare of a beat, you like when it comes and so you know when it comes. the good thing with that is that you can play this game all day long, jsut becuase you dont need to hit to chase mate. sry for that crap english, love you
@follow the howl ive been doing 1 year of boxing and i learn almost nothing :D i mean that 4 month of intense sparring with my brother tought me so much, i wouldnt have been able to do it in 10 years of jsut going to the boxing gym. and i wouldnt have found a smart partner like my brother but thank you :)
@follow the howl and yes i know how to power punch and not gaz out :D sometimes we are doing 2 or 3 hours round :D so yes i might be well coordinated but i appreciate you care about me 1 thing i dont agree with the guy above is that no, not any martial art gym is good to learn how to fight, if you pick karate or taekwondo, its a complete difrent discipline, i mean skin touch is closer than fencying than fighting, those are not martial arts but sports. you dont have any mass behind punches no storage energy, its not the same thing at all. so yeah be careful, i you want to learn how to fight dont pick a sport that dont teach you how to hit with power. and by the way. what do you think fight tips is. its a god damn GYM. if you watch every video you can have a clue of what to do. you dont need to spend hours on a havy bag or be shredded to know how to fight.lol look. james toney never hited the heavy bag or did useless pad drills he jsut spared. to get good you ahve to play the game lol, its obvious. why because the havy bag is not moving lmao if you spend your life on it you will ahve a hard time transitioning to sparring. anyway, so my advise, go find someone to sparr with asap taht way you ll learn something
Can you use fake teakdown to gazelle punch where you put to much weight on the lead kick or too far forwrd like the guy said and then when he try to defend the teakdown BOOM THE GAZELLE PUNCH
Idk how to recogniss these things, like Jones takedown to spinning elbow. How are slme figjters like him undefeated? How to recognise some of these coming?
Hey Shane, dont take this the wrong way but why did you never actually started a fighting career? Like making money fighting? You are obviously pretty talented and who knows where you could have ended? I understand and respect that you like being a trainer but then again: You could have also done this after your fighting career? I´m really just curious! Thanks
Isaac McManus defend over hand with uppercut since he’s so low keep your left hand up tho. Defend head kick by stepping out to opponents left side if they’re ortho. Also if you wanna get fancy switch to southpaw at the same throw the right hook while stepping out to avoid the head kick :)
I'm 4/11 and I'm big guy I way 165 and this kid wants to fight me he is about 5/10 and he is skinnier and probably faster and goes for the nose and swings with is right hand first and he is a aggressive fighter what do I do Edit he wants to fight me tomorrow at school got any tips for me I'm in 7th grade I'm gonna be 14 he is in 8th and 15 what should I do

Munky Ninjah We all know it was me! ;D
Jon Jones used wrestling feints to land spinning elbows
Darrin Montgomery he grew patient, and feints or faints, either way he was fortunate enough to beat lyoto which makes you consider his patients
Masterfully
brandon holt Indeed, he knew how to wait, kinda like Anderson Silva, or Michael venom page
Darrin Montgomery mvp will be recked soon he lunches a jab, the point im making is who would you want to fight if you didnt know Jones or machida, i would be way more cautious of machida, and thats saying cause I already know them

Good stuff. I've been thinking about feinting takedowns to set up strikes rather than simply feinting with strikes. Some nice ones :)
Always love your videos!
Someone who does this extremely well us Chad Mendes he utilized this really well in the rematch with Aldo fainting a double to an uppercut
I love the idea of shooting for the double or single and letting go to set up the power shot.
Thanks shane.
The fly knee is very useful from these drills too.
Thank You very much Shane and Vince :-)
How about top 5 street fight combos? Every shot there is with stuff like groin kick, throat punches etc. Cheers bro
Really awesome video with good tips love your channel
How to fight like charlie zelenoff please
Number one slav Sucker punch combo and body jabs with no guard. Also the secret technique where no matter what happens, he's always won
Eric Nulty nah..charlie zelenoff has lost multiple times look it up
Erdin Alili it was a joke by him man

Not training at a real martial arts gym is the same thing as not training at all common knowledge
wtf

Shane in Ufc?
Yo Shane can you do a video of how to get back into MMA training after a long layoff due to sickness?? Would be much appreciated 🙏
Shane, question. Can you use feints for takedowns & create combos with it too?
Read my mind! I have been waiting for a video on this subject.
Damn that's nice. Makes me wanna breathe air through a McDonald's straw, thanks Shane
you just rock brother
Can you bring back fighttips quick tips
Question. Do you have a method of strengthening ones core when their alone? Like the traditional getting hit in the stomach?
I feel like a feint knee or a feint elbow would work better than the kick or overhand
i always change my stance to constaly confuse my oppenent
I love to feint for a single leg and go right to a rear teep! 😎💖😇
Very Nice! Imagine if Royce Gracie had known about these set ups back in the day? He may have been able to put that muay thai training to use!!!
You forgot about the flying knee! Most people don't expect it and you close the gap possibly hurtinbg them or KO
Shane can you fake the take down then do a flying knee
100%. Works well as you're walking opponent toward the cage because they will have no room to back up.
money team watch Hunt vs Werdum pretty sure Werdum did it
Thanks guys
Could you do more kickboxing!!
Hi shane nice video
Give us ur thoughts on Conor Vs Khabib
Shane vs Faze Sensei
Can you use fake teakdown to gazelle punch where you put to much weight on the lead kick or too far forwrd like the guy said and then when he try to defend the teakdown BOOM THE GAZELLE PUNCH
How about the Jon Jones type elbow? You really need to be a good fighter to do something like that though
Idk how to recogniss these things, like Jones takedown to spinning elbow. How are slme figjters like him undefeated? How to recognise some of these coming?
