- Does this bundle SUCK or NO? I stumbled upon this box during the Black Friday sale at Bass Pro Shops. I was befuddled by the 2-star rating that someone gave. It was NOT helpful to me, and I had to order the box to decide for myself!

Love boxes like these for the simple reason that there’s always something I wouldn’t buy myself and it pushes me to try new things.
I definitely think that's one of the better boxes I've seen and they're all pretty beginner friendly lures as well. Love the honesty and unbiased reviews Debo!!
Pretty good box for the $. You should check out the garage sale bag from 6th Sense. Since they have raised the price to $99 they throw in a $75 Draw, a $35 Trace, plus about a dozen other lures.
Just started fishing and caught my first bass in August. Spend couple days a week now on the kayak or bank. Thank you for the review of the box. It always helps to know what's available since I'm so new to bass fishing.
I used to love going to BPS and just walk around looking at everything for a couple hours. Have been in a while with all the online tackle sites these days. But there are some nice items in the box. Keep up the good work Debo!

The best things in that box are.... Debo's homemade jigs!!! They look fantastic!!! 5 stars!!! Unfortunately you can only get it in this one box.

Learned a thing or two, one example being the rod skirt. What a great idea! I did not know that such a thing existed! I always try to load my rods in such a way that hooks aren't sticking in my ear.
I like how you tested the sharpness of the hook 🪝 on the back of your nail. Pretty smart!
As a newbie or a born again; I grew up in Minneapolis and fished with Dare Devils or worms or bread...and didn't start fishing again until I was in my 60's. I'll be 62 my next Birthday.
I have a sit on top kayak from Bass Pro Shop so I mostly fish alone where I live now which is in Maryland.

Just caught my first fish on a frog last weekend (Booyah popping pad crasher in night train) and now I'm understanding why people love to throw them. With that being said, I really like the look of those frogs. Just got back into fishing a couple years back and I've learned a lot from your channel. Sweet box..I definitely agree with your additions to it. I do feel the box is a great value. Another thing I would add would be some sort of bullet weight so you could do a weighted Texas rig. Especially with those Googan craws.

That is actually a really good box. I'd go as far as to say this is one of the best boxes I've seen nowadays. U adding a chatterbait and spinnerbait made it even better. The fact that they put line, pliers, and a wacky tool shows that negative review person doesn't know what they were talking about.
The box seemed good and definitely improved with the Debo-Supplements. A Chatterbait, spinnerbait, and alternative components made the combo more inviting for a broader range of feeshin friends.
These types of views from an experienced user sure make shopping easier when thinking about the value of a pack.

Thanks Deeb’s, you’ve taught me so much since I’ve started fishing Last summer. Learned how to use a casting rod watching you, and landed some pretty damn big feesh! Just don’t let my old lady find how how much I spend on fishing! If your new to fishing this box is definitively worth it. There isn’t a tackle store I walk into without dropping 50 doll hairs in! I freaking LOVE tackle though!
That box is a deal! Debo is right; I'd throw in a Chatterbait (my favorite) and some flourocarbon. Other than that, a great gift for someone starting out or if things get depleted and you want to try something new. Solid unboxing!
Thanks for the review, DEBO! I’ve honestly never considered purchasing these pre-packaged boxes, as they’re often just a mish-mash of random stuff. Props to BassPro for actually putting together something that actually makes sense. If I would add anything else, it would be a popper. A proven topwater that is easy for beginners to use. As always, love the Chatterbait.
You nailed it Debo. Bass pro did a good job with this box, especially for someone just getting into fishing, and revues should be used just as a guide.

Bought one of these for a friend that wanted to get into bass fishing. Only thing I felt the need to add was some 3/16s worm weights. Really good value for someone to get started and learn a few techniques.
That box is a great value. The extras that you added makes it all around a great box.
Since I am from Iowa too, Debo can't go wrong in what he puts in the box! Especially if you need plyers, that box is worth the money.

It looks like a decent box, especially for a beginner or for backup items. I am with Dizzle when it comes to buying rods, I like to put my hands on it, but I took a chance based on your reviews. I bought a used Temple Fork Outfitters rod from American Legacy and loved it. I liked it so much I bought another one new. When I run into folks fishing and they have questions and/or are learning to fish, I recommend your channel to them. Thanks for all you do for the fishing community.

Pretty solid beginner box, IMHO. I like that they're covering the bases, including everything needed for wacky and t-rig fishing, as well as some lures. Very solid additions on your part as well. Will make some angler on here happy!
Definitely better than a lot of the other boxes I've seen and everything in there can be used without having to make additional purchases
Always thought about doing a box subscription their is a lot of lures I’ve had never used but being a budget fisherman I always stray away. That box you featured looks pretty darn good plus your extra bonuses got me to try next year keep up the great videos happy holidays
Seems like a great box to get someone started fishing. I think they pliers are a nice touch. It's a pretty essential tool someone new might not think about having.
Looks like a good bundle box to me. I get a lot of bass pro shop tackle mainly because it is my price range, and they seem to have more in each pack of soft plastics. Thanks again for your reviews; being close to Iowa I can relate and expect around the same as you would be using for tackle. We appreciate you.

Debo, I never saw that Bass Pro box before. I thought it was a decent . Then when you threw in some of your jigs, I really like that idea. Never got a box deal before. When I order from 6th Sense I usually order $50 - $60 worth of tackle so they throw in some other stuff. I really like this video

I agree with you, it is a good starter box, but it is missing a few essentials. I did a quick price analysis and it looks like if you purchased these items separately it would add up to approximately $90; so not a bad deal.
That seems to be a pretty good beginner box…especially after you put the extras with it! Favorite bait from the original box has to be the lipless and favorite of the Debo add ons were the Debo custom finesse jigs!!
PS- Berkey fusion hooks have stood up very well for me. I don't use wacky tools.. I have ring pliers that work a bit better. Just easier to center up nicely.
That's a good beginner box that could be used all over the country nothing crazy big just a good all around box make a great Christmas gift for young anglers!! Thanks debo happy holidays!!
I agree with you that the frog is the weakest item in the box... Definitely a beginner box before the items you added. Your additions upgraded it into a subscription box. Great job.

I think that is a well rounded package of a little bit of everything you need to have a great day on the water. Pretty good for 40.00 .Your videos are very helpful as well. Your videos when you break down equipment great also.

I agree that 2 star rating was harsh. That's a pretty good box Debo. The stick-o's, the red eye shad, googan, sharp hooks. My nephew would love a box like that as a starter box. ✌🏻😎🎣
I'm not a "box" guy, but I have no problem at all with the value in that box. I agree, there are some very solid "beginner" lures in there, and baits that would perform well across a wide expanse of the country. Thanks, Debo!

I really like Bass Pro Shops branded tackle but I never buy from them due to the difficulty in navigating their website. I think they would be money ahead to update their website than selling those mystery boxes.
They didn't put a chatterbait in the box because it would get hung up in the mail and break off before the customer gets it 🤣 I can't keep those to save my life! Awesome video as always debo, by far the most informative bass channel on TH-cam, and your humor makes it that much better.

Looks like a pretty good beginner box. Agree with you Debo, they should have included an original chatterbait, a trailer for the chatterbait and a 1/4 or 3/8 bluegill style Spinnerbait for ponds.
It is a good box, but personally I would go with the walleye box because I get hit by walleye more often on the crankbaits and craws. You did a great review of the box. I would throw in a pack of ned rig hooks, chatterbait, spinnerbait, 1/2 ounce football jig, 1/4 ounce swim jig, and a pack of swimbaits along with what is in the box already. Great review of the box. Like your videos

Not a bad looking beginner's box, hopefully that can go to someone that's getting into fishing! Love the sub of the day's idea of doing an updated video on rods. Also, I know you had a reel cleaning video years back, not sure if much as changed in how you clean/maintain your reels after each season, but if the materials you use have drastically changed, a reel cleaning video would be great this winter!

Not a bad box IMO , decent variety, especially for a gift or beginner, Strike King lipless you could never go wrong with , nice add ins by yourself , appreciate the chance at winning
Great box for a beginner. That baby stick o looks like a tasty Ned bait. But agree the box needed the spinner and the chatter baits. Absolute go to lures for a beginner and super fun to fish. Maybe throw a paddle tail swim bait in there too???

Dang Debo first impressions on the monsterbass lunker stick and now myth busting bass pro bundles . I feel like that’s a solid amount of tackle at the price minus the frog I’d gladly grab one the next time I’m at Basspro
I think it's worth the $39. Good all around box. Who couldn't use another rod sock and pliers? The lures are good for pond hopping style of fishing. With the additions you put in the box, you can't beat that with a stick! I really enjoy your gear reviews.
