what a track by the scheme amazing hairs still stand on back of neck to this day when I listen to this classic once a schemer always a schemer RIP GEORGE JOHN AND DENNY god bless people's band✌
charlene i was at a gig in june in glasgows o2.it was billed as scheme but it was only denny & others playing instruments.got to say though it was a great night,n denny played this one for me.i dont know when they are in their again though you should look out for it.
I had the privilege of watching Denny flesh this song out in my old flat in Easterhouse when he visited one day back in '94, or maybe it was '95. He already had most of it together but he spent an hour or so working on it all the same. The chords for the verse are: C to G barre then run up to A barre then E then F barre. When the verse leads into the chorus it goes C to G barre then run up to A barre then E then F barre then G barre then G Augmented. The verse goes: F to C three times then G barre, then either back into the chorus or verse. EDIT: The G Augmented chord is 1st string third fret, 2nd and 3rd strings fourth fret and 4th string fifth fret. You can play the low G seeing as you're still playing a barre shape, but mute the fifth string either way.
Easterhouse Band first and Fourthmost lol but for every Scheme , working class the only class that matters .. best Schemers after the Band Jack Smith , Vinny Wallace .. love Keeno ...!
