Genuine Working Class Heroes. Saw them play in my old local up in Castlemilk many years ago. Great band from the 80's.. the decade that music forgot. These guys are one of the few bands from that era whose music still has some credibility. Should've cracked it big time. Thanks for posting.

i was on the peoples march for jobs 83(then leftie shit) with those lads every step of the way' they changed my life. i saw them at that the Apollo welcome home gig and im a cockney. i marched from north Wales with those lads.And im very proud to have done so.And I love every song they wrote and Tam was a great singer,and Denny too and I also loved George very much.It was probably the best 6 weeks of my life outside being a merchant seaman.They as men from Easterhouse gave me the best impression of a Scotsman as I could ever have.
Watch our for big Rab and his new band. He's teamed up with Glasgow singer song writer Jim Scanlan. They both played together in the early days before Scheme. I've heard them and I can honestly say they rock. All the old Scheme songs and a selection on rock and pop, big Rab singing Maggie May etc. I also heard they will be playing the Renfrew Ferry or the Barrowlands in the summer. Real magic stuff can't wait. It's high time big Rab was back on the scene, he has the most amazing voice ever.
