Insecure led me to use Accutane, iso Tretinoin cream which has given me permanent dry eye disease and messed with my skin barrier. It’s not just women that get affected. I ruined my life by taking harsh drugs for a few pimples. I wish I could go back in time.
GOODNESS- THIS IS WHAT I TELL ALL MY STUDENTS - EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAY MEN DO NOTHING AND LOOK THE BEST ---CLEAN WATER IS PLENTY --CLEANESS THE OLD FASHION WAY IS BEST AND A BIT OF PLAIN SOAP THATS IT .................................
There are some valid points, but there’s also a ton of misinformed opinions. I do agree that the beauty industry CAN be a bit scammy, especially in North America with Sephora’s gouging prices, but this is not always the case. Asia has a lot more budget friendly, gentle products. I don’t have enough knowledge on it, but I bet local drug stores have something good and reasonably priced in your area. Sunscreen is super important to protect us from skin cancer causing uv rays, but I advise against home made formulas. Her formula…I’m not sure what ingredient is supposed to protect u from the sun. Zinc oxide is a known sunscreen filter, but zinc on its own…I’m not sure. When companies formulate sunscreens, they pay tons of money to ensure that their products have a desired spf value. Also, they carefully create them so that the sunscreen filters are evenly dispersed throughout the product in order to provide adequate protection, also keeping in mind how fast the product dries so it creates a skin protecting film. Further, consider cosmetic elegance. Notice how her sunscreen concoction was INCREDIBLY white…in Asia, Europe, Australia, we have discovered many wonderful chemical filters that not only protect the skin more effectively, but feel nicer on the skin, without needing for white cast. It’s not about writing off the entire industry, but about trying to gain a better understanding of why products are priced and formulated at certain ways.
Sunscreen s important but if u directly going into the contact for a longer time but everyday it's not needed at all and if u r going for a shorter time spf 20s ok for our acne prone skin with zinc oxide 😊
My experience: I did not use any product and washed only with water for 1.5 month. My skin improved, I learned a lot, BUT my forehead is still more oily then other parts, and pimples and comedons appeared there. So I decided to use an acid peel, it didn't help. I started to use ubtan but was concerned about its exfoliating effect, so now I'm using my face cleanser in evening. Actually those pimples are quite depressing, I am not very sure that total skin fasting helps it. So why skin is irritated then..? I eat fine and drink a descent amount of water. To me it seems like some bacteria provoke this irritation. I'd appreciate a lot any advice... Also, are you saying that touching face with hands is a bad thing, or just touching it when it is cleansed?
Wash your face with warm water and clean hands gently massage during it. Do it a couple times a day to produce natural oils. Don’t let your face touch you pillow case when you sleep. And eat really healthy because you can’t outrun an unhealthy diet. No products on the face and patience
If you put products in your hair try to stop that too and just scalp massage and run fingers through hair to spread natural oils. Do a face mask with nizoral hair shampoo to get rid of fungal acne on forehead or scalp but then discontinue everything else and wash with water and don’t forget massages to stimulate oil production
@@Lorrainej1174 thnk you for advice, but I'm now using a mild facewash for oily skin and a cream with retinal and azulene. They work fine, amount of sebum is same as when I didn't use cosmetics. This helped me to conquer pimples, and it was not possible for me to continue, because I've already waited several months and it is very hard psychologically. And for hair, yes I do not use shampoo for a year and now for 1.5 months I'm trying water only, but it's also hard cause the hair is always oily. So sometimes I have to use white henna or yogurt+yolk (they cleanse great)
Me too want to dump all my products but problem with me is that my skin become too oily after using all those rubbish cosmetics don't know how to get rid of it coz my lifestyle s so good but still dumped all my cosmetics only using gentle face wash because of oily skin and active pimples caused by ridiculous product's but once my skin will be normal i ll dump my facewash too😊
Your outsides reflect your insides, bad skin is indicative of bad health and nutrition. I have (well "had" now I guess) oily skin, but now I use no cleansers or moisturizers, the only skincare that I use is a mineral sunscreen, and I have 0 pimples on my face. Apart from the days that I apply sunscreen, my routine solely consists of rinsing my face with water. Beforehand I was eating the proper nutrition but the skincare products that I was using were the causes of my persistent blemishes. Skin can naturally exfoliate and moisturize itself. You need to give your skin the chance to self-regulate, be cautioned though it may get worse before it gets better depending on how bad your nutrition or how extensive your skincare is, there's no such thing as instant gratification, once you abstain from skincare your skin will adapt and produce the optimum amount of sebum to lubricate your skin and seal in moisture without leaving it greasy if you give it time.
Sounds like rosacea. Not too much spicy /or hot temperature food or coffee. It can be hereditary or even mites !! ...can have different causes so maybe Dr can help. You could try the free things like less spices first, then if it doesn't work see Dr. Ps don't use too hot water to wash face...keep temperature mildly warm. Even stress can make mine worse...
Nope this doesn't apply to everyone cause everyone have different type of skin problems and modern problem needs moders solution so don't compare it to back days and of course you don't need a expensive skin care products and having a good skin care routine is a blessing you should wash your face in the morning only with water
acne or whatever are not modern problem ,we are human being ,so people from the back days also having it ,but they don't use any skincare to done with it
No it's true if u eat healthy diet do exercise sweat a lot u don't need any of the cosmetics because beauty s within once u stop using all the products u l see that ur skin will be n habit of no products and breakouts will also less coz whatever pimples are coming to ur skin s because of the oily skin which ur products are gifting u and that's why pimples pop up😢😊
Acne is typically the result of a combination between eating an unhealthy diet that disrupts hormonal balance which promotes inflammation, and microbial infections. Some of the skin issues that result from this can be mitigated by the skin barrier but most of today’s modern skincare products contain things like preservatives, which destroy the barrier and immune system. So in my opinion, both diet and skincare need to be cleaned up.

I love you girl ❤❤❤ it's magical
Dude that's why my asian mom looks younger than me .
I am literally tired of using everything and i decide to use nothing on mu face😢
Superb! Superb!
Girl you are so rightttt♥️
Insecure led me to use Accutane, iso Tretinoin cream which has given me permanent dry eye disease and messed with my skin barrier.
It’s not just women that get affected. I ruined my life by taking harsh drugs for a few pimples.
I wish I could go back in time.
Awesome!
Very useful video❤loved it
YES omg I love you so much. Thank you for making this video 👏
I will take an entire day just to watch your videos i absolutely LOVE this chanel! 😍 sent it to my sister too
I spent tons of money on my face for so long, and it never became healthy until I stopped using all useless stuff.
I agree with a lot, but a homemade sunscreen probably isn't going to protect your skin against UV and sun damage.
This was so funny 😁 thank you so much because ive stopped using moisturizer and my skin looks better?
I have tried alot of moisturizer it ended up spoilin my face
Wow. Thanks for existing.
This is the best TH-cam video I've ever seen hands down. I wish more people would wake up and smell the BS
Seriously ❤this video 🎉

I mean, this totally strokes all my confirmation bias nodes, but you ain't wrong!!
My God....she hilarious at the same time informative...
This was hilarious and so very true!!!
Loved it 😊😊😊

Lol ❤❤ i love it!
Wow i love this, so liberating 😍 thank you 🙏
Thank YOU, I actually love your channel 🥰
🤣🤣🤣 I love this woman
Use baby soap
@@blackham7do u use soap on your face in the shower?
@@blackham7don't u use any cleanser at night to clean ur suncsreen from face
Amen. The only people benefiting from your “skincare” are those who are selling it. And maybe your pillowcase lol.
Hahaha...so Cool 😎😆!!!
Just loved it❤
so what happens if you have bumps on your face what do i do?
I hv some red marks on my both cheeks ..pls help me how to reduce it
Sounds like rosacea.
Nope this doesn't apply to everyone cause everyone have different type of skin problems and modern problem needs moders solution so don't compare it to back days and of course you don't need a expensive skin care products and having a good skin care routine is a blessing you should wash your face in the morning only with water
acne or whatever are not modern problem ,we are human being ,so people from the back days also having it ,but they don't use any skincare to done with it
@@Dreamss_999 okay than leave it as it is
Shut the fuck up do what your skin requires
So in my opinion, both diet and skincare need to be cleaned up.
i got some confidence here (i just having a bad day today)
I’ve used Lamer down to Nivea and it’s all the same, my skin has never looked better using minimal stuff
Iam stoping every thing from today
I love the Sex And The City style music isn’t he background 😁
🙏🏽 👍🏽 anyone on the fence might be interested in the book ‘Skin Sobering’
I also recommend this book. An eye-opener.
The best book is Skintelligent by Dr Natalya Spierings!! The skin sobering book’s author is not a dermatologist …her PhD isn’t even in medicine!!!
Best self care video I have ever seen

Don’t you need to wash off your sunscreen with some kind of product?
She mentioned that it's all natural and she made it herself so maybe just rinse.
