    Get some more water in your table, so about half inch from the top, it really helps with stopping warping and the parts are never hot when they come off.

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is true! I did fill up the water more and it helped a lot!

    How well does that compressor keep up?

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not bad, I do let the machine rest about every 6-7 minutes if it’s running straight this way it allows the plasma cutter to cool down, and the compressor to refill.

    nice man, Although I would have just put the filter right on or near the Air compressor, and have filtered air to all your tools, not just that one, unless you're just plugging in all your tools into the filters where it sits.

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually added a second filter right off the compressor!

    I've got a question. Does the software allow you to set the table size, allowing you the ability to expand the table size down the road if you want?

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I believe the software is the same, even for the bigger table.

    Does the plasma cutter cut into the support beams coming out of the water? Would they need to be replaced eventually? Nice video

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      After a while yes you would need to replace them, I just recently flipped them, so they should be good for a while.

    nice work...........get going with QCAD & SheetCAM designing your own parts (not Confusion 360) more water in the table is a double edged sword............really makes a mess........ we built removable Plexi splash guards for our little Crossfire table....post Covid there is tons of it around and we got 4x4 sheets from local School Dept. when I design in bend kerfs I use a "dashed" line approach esp on long bends to keep everything aligned always keeping the ends solid...........enjoy.....73 Mike K1FNX near Boston

    Super cool vid! Congrats on the new setup! I’m trying to get there myself. I’ve been reading a lot on this machine. I saw that some are doing 1.5x the recommended 6CFM @ 90PSI. I noticed yours was at 5.1CFM @ 90PSI. Has this given you any issues since starting? Thanks in advance.

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No issues at all, the compressor has been holding up just fine for long cuts no problem!

    That cut quality is insane. Mind sharing your 2d profile settings? I'm getting really inconsistent results on 14ga with smaller detailed work like lettering. Been running 40A 140ipm with all different lead in and finishing pass settings. Big stuff looks great. Small stuff looks like cat puke. 😮

    • @JaimmyAC
      @JaimmyAC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, I honestly forgot what settings I am using it at for 14 gauge, but I can get back to you on that!
