The interesting thing with Koranot is that they seem to have made the whole boss use the SNES’s Mode 7. That’s the setting they could use to stretch, scale, and rotate sprites on a game’s background layer. Hence why the background is blank for the fight; the boss’s sprite is taking up that layer, so they can change his size and rotate him. I would assume the bosses hitbox is assigned to another object without a visible sprite, so they can make the visual trick work.
I love this game so much! The atmosphere is just perfect! Konami was very fast in learning what the SNES could do and had several amazing titles early on in the system's run.
Seeing the extra lives count on this game and the super contra 3 video makes me belief you’re quite the video game master. Good job making these videos.
Here I do have to discern, since for me, Simon's gameplay is very rigid and the jumps do not always go as calculated. That takes away a bit of the emotion of playing it. 😔😔😔
I think that title goes to Symphony of the Night for me. It's expansive and tight gameplay mechanics, excellent score, the many secrets it has, and even the "so bad its good" voice acting (yeah, it's not good, but my god is it a product of its time) make it stand out for me. There seems to always be something new someone found in the game even now.
Simon Belmont's theme is always favorite in the whole castlevania series and I will never change it, and still hasn't changed, I just made an excellent choice for this game is my favorite cause it has my favorite song. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Castlevania game series has too epic songs. In addition to Simon Belmont's Theme, there are Bloody Tears, Vampire Killer and Bloodlines. They are incredible!!!!! 🎵🎵🎵🦇🦇🦇🎵🎵🎵
In almost all of his appearances in the Castlevania games, he always has a second transformation. Maybe they thought that making his face change to that of a robot would count as a second transformation. 🤔🤔🤔
There was also Order of Ecclesia, where instead of transforming, Dracula ditches the teleportation trick, in favor walking towards you and kicking you.
There is really something strange about him since in his transformation his face changes and to be a kind of robot. I assume that he was never really the real one or one of his reincarnations 🤔🤔🤔
@@crazyghost5357 The "mask" is just him looking like a ghoul instead of a human. Earlier Castlevania lore actually had a weird quirk to it: the monstrous final phases weren't Dracula himself. According to the Japanese manuals they were incarnations of the "Curse of Man"/"Evil God" who killed Dracula for his failures before being beaten down by the Belmonts. They stopped using this plot point around Symphony of the Night
is this outerspace dracula? I'm just seeing star wars like crap. also noticed today when watching an nes simons quest playthrough they talk about staring into the death star.
This..... Dracula's Curse and Symphony of The Night. Greatest Castlevania games of all time ❤️
Castlevania should return in a new pixel art style game. It would be epic!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

This is one of my favorite Castlevanias. Challenging but not unfair like most of them.
Played this as a kid, being my first Castlevania game. Beat it. Loved it. Was so glad to play it again on the SNES Classic. :D

Cool gameplay. I’m quite happy knowing I have three carts of this game 👌
I loved the flexibility with which you can handle the Vampire Killer in this game. 🤩🤩🤩

@@cherokeefit4248 Thanks!!! But I don't think it's that good, since I have to go through them many times to be able to record the videos well. 😁😁😁😁
The best castlevania game of all time as always

Its absolutely the best!

Yep but He's not Simon Belmont, he's Trevor.
Surprise that the final boss Dracula only have one form. In Castlevania the New Generation for example have three forms to defeat

Always hated that damn gold bat.
One thinks that it will be very easy to pass but no! It's super difficult 😖😖😖
I don’t remember Dracula being so weak

He was by far the easiest Drac of the series.
NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THIS CASTLEVANIA NOTHING
The Dancing Spectres 💯
