yes, it is but it is not available easily in most countries similar to CR2032. LiR version is not compatible because its nominal voltage is 3.6v rather than 3v, and it needs protection circuit. can't be drop-in replacement

I remeber once I watched a picture about using regular AAA batteries and a proper holder I used ML2032 batteries for my 2 dreamcast but each time I use my Dreamcast they loss complete charge after about 1 or 2 weeks . I wonder if a better brand of batteries will work better
What resistor you use in the 12v ? some say its better 330 ohm with 1w others with 0.25w ! But i see you have two ! one 0.25w gonna overheat alot right? Or since im gonna add a second 30mm fan near the power supply if i put it in the 12v rail is lload enough to not use it any resistors or take off the rectifier from power supply etc ! I bought a gdemu too ! Good video and mod ! ML batteries are harder to find here and cr are much cheaper and higher capacity !
it will work, drop is variable depends on diode used. i used a rectifier diode which dropped 0.4v to result in 2.6v final voltage... and it works very nicely. go ahead.

ML2032 is the rechargeable versions of CR2032. What you don't want are LR, or LiR2032's

forget everything as I finished designing a new product to use 18650 batteries and it works perfectly fine. one simple charge can last YEARS.
