We are on an Italian vacation right now from USA. Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento. We were laughing about hoping to run into you two filming one of your videos. Thank you for all the videos, we have watched a ton of them taking notes!
i still remember years ago when i spent a day in verona with friends and came back at night. on the highway the fog was incredibly thick but luckily enough i found a bus that i was able to follow all the way to modena :D
Hi, Thank you for sharing this video I would like to learn more about what is the best form of currency ie. cash, credit card, traveler's check to use while visiting Italy please?
Hello, thank you for the wonderful video. It gave me hopes to convince my partner for a mid to late November Italy trip. From the video it is clear that Southern Italy is best covered in these months and I hope to focus on that part realizing that covering Italy in a single trip might be a futile ambition. Having said that I also want to spend a couple of days on slow travel in a small town/village in Italy. Do you have any suggestions for the same? Either a town with a good hike or a great beach/waterbody would be great. It's a 8-10 day itinerary for us and we'll pick either one big city for 3-4 days and 4-5 days in a small town .Thank you so very much.
Hello there, thank you so much for your comment. There are a lot of places that fits your request. If you check out Puglia for example has a lot of small towns that have exactly what you are looking for. Places like Alberobello, Polignano or Matera are wonderful and all very close to each other and they are great for a day trip.
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you for your reply. I have been reading up about these towns you mentioned and truly, they seem wonderful. Especially Matera has piqued my interest. Love your ReadysetItaly website as well. :)
Hello I love your video! You had mentioned that the weather in the south is a little more stable, or mild. We are visiting Sorrento in the first week of October. So would it be comfortable to wear shorts, short sleeve shirts, polo shirts, ect? Thank you.
thank you for your video!! It was much helpful for me to determine my trip to Italy on september !😊 one question I’m looking forward to staying at agriturismo in Tuscany on september. Would it be okay to travel around Tuscany on september?? Or do you have any better choice to enjoy the country side culture of Italy on september?
Actually in September Tuscany is wonderful, one of the best months to go. If you watch our Tuscany video was filmed in late September. th-cam.com/video/DCjyIS8Y8rc/w-d-xo.html
When you say fall, what months are you talking about? Exactly my wife and I are planning on taking her anniversary trip next month which is November. Our anniversary is not till January but we don’t want to go when it’s 40° and snowy.
As always, full of great information. I take it you guys live in Italy. Rick, how was it to make the decision to move? We are looking to maybe buy something there but not sure how to go about it.
Excellent question, Jeffrey! I have an extended network of friends and family here in Italy- and given the chance, I/we were happy to make it! That said, while I don’t have experience moving to any other country… this was a rather challenging move. Happy to chat with you about it some time.
@@RickOrford sounds great Rick. We are coming back in May for a couple of weeks then again in August and September. I’m sure we will chat before then. Stay safe.
Thanks guys for this info! My family and I are heading to Tuscany this Sept 9-25, and I have heard Europe in general is having a BANNER year with tourists! Guess everyone was ready to travel in 2023. Are you seeing that as well? I am hoping it will be settled down by September!🥴😜
Another awesome video, will be there soon, cruising from Barcelona to several places, staying in Spain after the cruise, then flying to Rome to take a Costa cruise for another Mediterranean cruise, love me some Italy, a little afraid about the anti gay rhetoric and anti immigrants.
I wish you had not made this video. I've known for 55 years that the fall is the best time. The fewer people that know that, the better it is for me. 😎😎 Let them keep thinking summer is the best time. 😂😂
Hahaha 😆 I think people have already noticed about a decade ago or so ,though !! Tourists in September /October have been significantly increasing in Italy !! 🇮🇹 😅💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇮🇹💞

Hello there, you can use your credit card pretty much everywhere, and cash for the little amounts. 😀
I love autumn and love Italy but beware Pick Pockets!
👍🏻
Very helpful❤

Loved your video!!! How do you two feel about hiking in the Dolomites in October?
We went in October and it was quite beautiful. Cold in the morning and night

It depends on the weather, but in general yes during the day you will be comfortable, at night a light jacket or a hoodie it is necessary

Do you think November is a good time to visit Italy? I've been in March and it was pretty nice but have never been later in the year
November can be an excellent month to visit Italy because it is less busy, the weather can be a bit unpredictable and cold but worth it
