I met Clint Eastwood in person at the Hollywood Studios, where my son worked. My son, his boss, and I were walking towed the diner for lunch. As we were walking, I saw Mr. Eastwood and several people with clipboards walking ahead of us. I was so excited and asked Mr.Eastwood if I could hug him. He stopped, looked at me, smiled, held open his arms, and we hugged each other. He is an amazing man and I will never forget his kindness. He’s brutally handsome and still is. ❤

Agreed. Harry always seems to have to fight TWO wars! One against the crooks, and one against the very Legal System, that he fights for! They turn on him so many times throughout the Dirty Harry Series, that it's a true wonder why he stays with them!!! In his opinion, they've gotten soft, and want to find "The easy way" out of fighting crime. Not Harry, though. He believes in dealing with the crooks and murderers, head on!!! He's gonna finish off the crooks, his way, even if he's got to kill 'em!!!
The Zodiac Killer-Man, that guy was a true thorn in Harry's side! I was glad, when Harry goaded him into picking up that little Pistol of his... just so Harry could blow him away! That ended all that unnecessary killing that the Zodiac Killer had done!!!

One does not simply call him "Clintwood." He is referred to by full name: Clint Eastwood. Some people historically have earned the right to where you don't just say their first name or last name you say the entire name.
"If the rest of you could shoot like them, I wouldn't care if the whole damn department was queer." And they say Harry doesn't care about equal rights. lol
I am fifty-nine years old and grew up watching heroes such as Clint Eastwood on media. I knew that it was fictional, but took many things in that were very relative to everyday life......A man has to be a man, so as to protect what is right in life.......And yes, I have my Harry Callaghan .44 Magnum revolver, which I hope I never have to use in a bad situation, but I keep it close, just in case.......
I first shot a .44 Model 29 when i was only 14. Truth is it isn't a "wild horse" and will not knock you on your feet. An 8" barrel really helps cut muzzle lift and yes, they are quite accurate. It's not hard to get 2-inch groups with it once you have plenty of practice under your belt.
Arguably the best macho movie legend of our time, spanning nearly 50 years...... Loved his character in nearly every cop movie he was in.... I know what you're thinking......
They should send out the Dirty Harry replicants to deal with the the thieving bankers, the polluting industrialists, the Big Pharma billionaires who kill many thousands with their 'legal' opoid drugs, the M.I.C. people who squander squillions of your present- and future taxes on overpriced weaponry, the politicians of all sizes and the rest of the maggots who create and live off social breakdown, but they won't (whoever "they" may be).

Would love to know what that sound was, because Hollywood used it all the time for a gun sound effect. One thing it wasn’t was the sound of a .44 magnum.
The Gun used in the making of this film 🎥 was not a .44 Magnum, a model 29, it was actually a .45 Colt, a model 25-6, when you look at the muzzle, it is a bit larger than a .44 caliber. Best seen at 11:35
If you mean by damaging or destroying private property, lack of accountability and reckless endangerment, sure cops would be wonderful. Who cares if poor people have lower living standards, wages and education and have to resort to crime. Let's bankrupt the nations economy by wasting it on excessive personnel build-up on armed services! Great idea!
Damned right it is. The police shouldn't be the "Bad guy" when they are doing what they are paid for, only when they step out of line. That was also addressed in the "Dirty Harry" series. Wages, education or anything else does not excuse crime. Nobody said life is fair and it hasn't always been fair to me but no one gets a free pass when they try to harm me or my own. Don't worry about me bankrupting the nations economy, I paid for my own firearm, Carry Permit, training, ammunition and it didn't cost taxpayers a dime. In some states, people cannot do that so easily and what else is left but LEO's?
"Wages, education or anything else does not excuse crime. Nobody said life is fair and it hasn't always been fair to me but no one gets a free pass when they try to harm me or my own. Don't worry about me bankrupting the nations economy, I paid for my own firearm, Carry Permit, training, ammunition and it didn't cost taxpayers a dime. In some states, people cannot do that so easily and what else is left but LEO's?" So if a person who is making less than $5 to a middle-class person's $100, has 5 kids to feed, and a high mortgage to pay, and can barley afford necessities, such as cloths on one's back or food on the table, and has no other way of going up in social mobility due to class discrimination, race, ethnicity, forced to drop-out of school to make ends meet or all the above, as to why they commit crime, is not the root of the disease? Also, don't most of the time cops tend to arrest poor persons for crimes they didn't commit? I.e. persons of color who get brutalized by cops? Heck, why not allow persons of color to own guns as well? Or better yet, get rid of the cops?!
I live next to a church across the street that feeds people and gives them clothes. They don't care about anyone's class, race or anything else. Those things also do not give any the right to harm others. My best friend was beaten by a cop and he's white, bad cops don't need to discriminate. I find it strange when those wanting to get rid of cops also think cops are the only ones that should be armed. This is not a world of "Rainbows & Unicorns" where there would be no crime if not for law enforcement. I have noticed police are nicer when they realize I am armed. Persons of color have been able to legally own guns ever since we stopped the Democrats Jim Crowe Laws, you can thank the NRA. However, most blacks (including black cops) are killed by blacks who don't care about laws and do not carry legally. As long as one can pass a background check, one can own a gun at least where I live. You want to make this a race issue? Why do you think black folk can't own a gun? My wife is black and I bought her a gun as a present to defend herself.
It’s great till you see John Wayne in “McQ” and they have a 1911 in 9mm making that same noise. “Mc Q” John Wayne trynna act like Harry Callahan and drive like Steve McQueen. Result? Magnum Force did much better at the box office and no body remembers mcq

Eastwood tweeted that it was one of the happiest nights of his life when Trump won the presidency. He tweeted he was proud that half of America saved the country by voting for Trump.
Close, he was in 4 of them but they made 5 Dirty Harry Movies. He wasn't in The Dead Pool, they offered him a role but he turned it down due to a scheduling conflict.
One day my best friend and I celebrated our made-up "Clint Eastwood Day". We ate steak, drank Blue Moon and watched 5 Eastwood movies including the first 3 of the Dirty Harry films. I'll never forget that day.
Clint had a better line in “Gran Torino”: “Get off my lawn!”. Also, in “the Outlaw Josey Wales”, when a bounty hunter says that he’s hunting Wales cuz he’s gotta make a living, Wales says ,”Dyin’ ain’t much of a livin’!”. Priceless.
"A man has got to know his limitations" Great line there when car blows. Didn't Dave Mustaine use that line for lyrics in a Megadeth song?? Legend Clint Eastwood!!
I met Clint Eastwood in Monterey, CA. He was pushing his car into a repair shop to have a spacer behind the steering wheel cause his legs are long and he had to push back the seat so the steering wheel would be comfortable. I helped him push the car into the garage when I realized it was Clint Eastwood. My former wife has a picture of him with our dog.
One of my favourite lines from Magnum Force, while he's getting off the plane and the lieutenant arrives, Harry says "Lieutenant, what are you doing here?" This is a reference to the Lieutenant asking Harry the same question when he arrives at a murder scene in the beginning of the film, while the Lieutenant tells Harry to get back to the market stake-out. Just made me laugh so hard.

These clips never get old. In my youth, I started watching Clint Eastwood’s Western movies like Hang them high and Good Bad and Ugly. Then came the Dirty Harry movies which I liked even better.
I love this type of clips and enjoy them since I have seen the movies and know the characters and the stories of those movies.
In my seventies, I am still watching his movies which he stars in and directs❗️

I am fifty-nine years old and grew up watching heroes such as Clint Eastwood on media. I knew that it was fictional, but took many things in that were very relative to everyday life......A man has to be a man, so as to protect what is right in life.......And yes, I have my Harry Callaghan .44 Magnum revolver, which I hope I never have to use in a bad situation, but I keep it close, just in case.......
Never hurts to have some psychic coffee
I first shot a .44 Model 29 when i was only 14. Truth is it isn't a "wild horse" and will not knock you on your feet. An 8" barrel really helps cut muzzle lift and yes, they are quite accurate. It's not hard to get 2-inch groups with it once you have plenty of practice under your belt.
Model 29. Love em. Freaken ammo is through the roof.
That's awesome, I'm going to get me one. Semi auto nines are good but just not the same.
Arguably the best macho movie legend of our time, spanning nearly 50 years...... Loved his character in nearly every cop movie he was in.... I know what you're thinking......

That glorious kick and sound. Good for the soul. The guns in todays movies don't kick. Pathetic.
The Gun used in the making of this film 🎥 was not a .44 Magnum, a model 29, it was actually a .45 Colt, a model 25-6, when you look at the muzzle, it is a bit larger than a .44 caliber.

If all cops were like this, violent crime would drop 75% in a year.
Ain't that the truth!
In some states, people cannot do that so easily and what else is left but LEO's?"
So if a person who is making less than $5 to a middle-class person's $100, has 5 kids to feed, and a high mortgage to pay, and can barley afford necessities, such as cloths on one's back or food on the table, and has no other way of going up in social mobility due to class discrimination, race, ethnicity, forced to drop-out of school to make ends meet or all the above, as to why they commit crime, is not the root of the disease?
That model 29 .44 magnum makes the coolest sound. Never thought a handgun could roar 😎
