They haven’t lost a single touch. Wow I feel like a teenager again. Amazing band.
There absolutely crap. Worst 80s band they sound awful
Amazing Band . Beautiful Songs . China crisis were Very underrated ..
They are underatated... the awful
Thank you so much for uploading this. And for keeping the bits in that Gary wanted omitted. Gary and Eddie crack me up 🤣🤣, like school kids again. I love it. I hope you had an amazing evening, they are pitch perfect, and the backing musicians are amazing too.
I can’t believe we have all followed them for 40 years - I feel old 🤣🤣🤣, but they keep us young at heart 😊
Cherished memories indeed for all of us
I seen these 2 a while ago. They were awful. The lead singer was talking a load of bull shit
I still have their Albums on vinyl.
Was listening to them the other day wondering want they were up to...found this germ here.
Thanks for uploading😀😀
Greetings from Germany 🙂🙂
EVERY track China Crisis have ever written has been utterly brilliant! There isn't a track on any of their albums that isn't less than top notch.
Awful
Brilliant band
Metal K. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Have always loved China Crisis. Agreed, they never got their due here in the states. Great melodic pop tunes. Great hooks and excellent harmonies. Found them via Walter Becker, RIP. Thanks again Metal, you've really brightened an old man's day...and then some, sincerely.
Thanks for uploading the whole set! Fantastic. Seeing them for sixth time in as many years tonight ❤ Intimate setting, only 100 tix sold. Can’t wait! Love their banter, stories, humour, and of course, music 🎶
Such a GREAT band! They craft phenomenal songs! Recordings and production are top notch too. Been a fan since the 80's (i'm 61 years young). I was just cranking 'What Price Paradise' today while driving around doing errands. Thanks for uploading!
Such a rubbish duo. Seethe once. Never again. The lead singer was talking a load of bull shit
I recogize your 'moniker' from other posts. So you take pride in following people to their other posts so you can post your ridiculous drivel? LOSER! @@HaroldSeddon-g9u
I missed them again this year in the U.K. Hugely underrated in my honest opinion......Thank you for sharing 😎🙏 UPDATE : Just booked to see them in the U.K. in 2023 😎
They’re playing tonight in St Albans
So did I 😢
Seen CC at the Cavern in Liverpool last week, they were incredible, musically and with Gary's wonderful anecdotes, get out and see them folks if they play live near to you, you won't regret it.
Made early '80's more bearable @@Ihategoogle-xb2hi
Just love this band !. So many happy memories from the 80's . Jersey , C Isles ' 85 . Xx
Just saw them in Melbourne at the weekend it was so good I'm so glad they finally made it down under thank you China Crisis they were awesome !!!!
Seen them once never again. The sound was awful. The lead singer was talking a load of bull shit
A massive thanks to you for uploading this I really enjoyed it thankyou.
This was a fantastic show, indeed. Class act all around. We were there, too, and enjoyed every second. Thank you for the upload! :)
There so tacky. So unprofessional
Grandes, muy grandes. Ojala vengan pronto a Spain y pueda verlos. Thanks for sharing!!!!!
Great to see so much love at a small gig. Onya guys!
SO AMAZING. Saw them in Minneapolis this past year. Never thought that I'd get a chance to see them play live and that show was one of the best from this year. Thank you SO much for putting this out there. So thankful that I got to experience this wonderfully beautiful show again. Thanks Gary & Eddie! Cheers!
I was there . They were awful never again
@@Ihategoogle-xb2hi . Seen them once.... they sent me to sleep
Heard them a few times in the 80's....never noticed their beauty until recently. Great band.
There absolutely awful. So unprofessional
Wonderful 40th Anniversary tour performance by Gary, Eddie and rest of the group. Always an underappreciated group. Thank you for sharing this.
Wonderful not, wheres the band ,Gary may aswel go solo and sack the rest of them including eddie.... turning this shit off, bye. 👋
they had some success in Toronto thanks to CFNY in 1984 they opened for Simple Minds 4 nights at Massey Hall. I went to 2 shows and they were great
Thank you for posting this concert on TH-cam was pure joy from a cc fan from day one ❤️
Glad CC are still around, missed seeing them live when i was really into them in the 80s but now still able to see them in concert somewhere somehow! must make it happen
Thankyou for posting this superb band, still up there and sounding amazing, plus the added wit and humour of Gary…..👍💪😜😳🤣ps I’ve had the privilege of seeing these guys 9 times live over the last decade , and never fail to be impressed with the sound and quality that they achieve with such a small group of guys ….who obviously still love the music they play 👍🇮🇲
TOTALLY EPIC IN EVERY FRIGGIN WAY!!!!!!!!!
China crisis are so,so good. Phenomenal talents and just fantastic to see live. They are an inspiration to so many people. Personally i love them and their music to bits. 🙏♥️
China crisis are so bad. Seen them once that was enough
Thanks for this, what a treat
What a band. So many classic songs. Listening to the album 'Working With Fire & Steel" for the first time as a 7 year old, was amazing. All these years later, they are always on my playlist.
Thank you for your efforts in uploading this. Very emotional to see them now; I listen to the CDs all the time, but haven't seen them live and it has been a long time. Thank you! 😍🤩🥰
Such a great band, definitely don't get the credit they deserve & they still sound fantastic, imo they made some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard 😍
God I remember these in early 80s when like me were young lads. Still like the songs shame never hear them on the 80s radio channels I often hear
absolutely beautiful heart felt , I think they liked it 😊
I love China crisis , I put my head pods on yesterday morning on a freezing travel to work about 5 in the morning , then relished the pods wasn't connected so the whole dlr crowd didn't said whan I got off
What a fantastic band they were...and still are. Gary and Eddie wrote such wonderful and beautiful songs. This really does get one's Soul Awakening!
Seen them. They were awful
No comment...
I love the Walter Becker anecdotes...it’s great to hear , and he is everything I thought he would be , he is one of the musical loves of my life.I think these guys are pretty much the Becker and Fagen of their generation...I love their music
Excelente . . . Saludos desde PARAGUAY!!!!
Excellent
Reminds me of late '70's and when used to frequent local talent just starting out in stardom but this time with no cover of other bands
This was a great show! Wish I had gotten up to the stage sooner.
Liverpool's finest👍
Liverpool worst duo
You and your mate😜👍@@HaroldSeddon-g9u
😊❤
WOW. Excellent quality ! Thank You for sharing. Christian is superbbb. Although I a bit wondered the intro kinda like Duran's The Chauffeur. is that really how Christian sounded live in the 80s ?
Love you guys
Christian.... one of the great tracks of the 80s
If you’re watching this……who had the IOM TT shirt on…..? Top bloke👍💪🇮🇲
No commercial success in the US at all, save for a minor Adult COntemporary showing for Arizona Sky, the video for which got some airplay on VH1 in 1987
Top band these
The sense of humour on these guys is hilarious!
Going to Rewind North 2023 see you then can't wait
Muchos hablan que es una banda subestimada , pero yo no los considero así , son de mis bandas preferidas y no estoy de acuerdo con ese término de subestimada .
First time Seeing CC tomorrow..: hope to hear some of that Walter Becker influence ..
So how was it?
@@MetalKReactions Absolutely fantastic.., perfect , got to speak to Eddie about WB .. our musical hero . One of my favourite gigs ever , it’s way up there 🌟
Did they have the same band members, instruments??
@@UFO_computers yes , there were four of them, the guy on synths, and the guy on saxophone 🎷 Eddie on guitar , Gary vocals .it was a small venue , only holding 150 , the stage was small ...but what a night !
See them in Hammersmith the other week they was brilliant
Did they have a full band with them?
@MetalKReactions 4 off them obviously Eddie and Gary only originals
😢so did I. Never again they were crap
@user-uq2rb9dl4x I think they was overwhelmed our small the place was. I never see them in there hayday so can't judge Gary was a bit off a comedian that night
@@perrycarpenter7095 . Thought that they were awful

...see you in Glasgow in December.
I'm looking for 2 tickets for the Glasgow gig, do you know of any goin? I think it's sold out, Cheers
@ 54.10 - “A spicy chicken sandwich “ wetting myself 🤣
Not much live there really.
Using backing tracks is a shame, a good drummer, and bass player is needed to make them sound like a band again, it's kinda embarrasing to hear a backing track that i actually used in the clubs and weddings years ago, and now by a fantastic band reduced to a tribute act playing in smaller venues like this.
To be honest, how many people would actually support this band in America at this point in time? I was actually amazed they were touring in a somewhat limited capacity and happy they came to my town since this will probably be the only time this will happen at their stage of their careers. To bring a full band on their dime would be impossible. It was a great show for what it was...sure I would have loved to see a whole band and they would have sounded fuller, but I'm happy enough to hear them one last time live.
I only seen them once. Thought they were awful. Compared to some of the bands in the 80s
These pensioners sent me to sleep
Wheres the band man, bass ,drums and whatever else on backing track ?? So sad, karaoke beckons,,, so absolutely poor 😔
They explain the cost of touring with a full band in today's climate for a band that wasn't that well known in the states. For them to even come over and do a tour is well appreciated in any manner since this may be the last time this happens so enjoy it while you can. The still sounded great under the circumstances.
@@MetalKReactions Completely agree. Wonderful 1980s group who still sound fantastic. It has always been centred on Gary and Eddie, but I love the way they mention Gazza, Kevin and Brian a number of times, and hugely acknowledge the skills of the two new musicians helping them out on this tour. Thank you again for sharing this online - what a fantastic gig to be at.
Karaoke Not! Their voices are perfectly smooth and velvety. The two young musicians at this gig are amazing. I have seen them many times this year, and they do their best to accommodate as many musicians as feasible. At the Liverpool gig in
February there was barely room for each band member to play, as there were so many on the stage. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@amandalouise3253 are the Liverpool shows the best to see? I missed them playing in San Francisco and I'm contemplating on flying on over to catch a gig
Interesting that the efforts of the musicians who were playing live should have passed you by. Perhaps you could front up the cash for a full band to come to the States in the future.
Chris there absolutely awful
So unprofessional
Great tambourine player 😂
Time to fall asleep. There so boring 💤
