Playing better than ever. Electricity , takes me back to 1976 ,seeing Andy McCuskey at Meols bus stop in a long black coat , waiting for the school bus to take him to the local grammar school.Later, one of my friends would return from a Liverpool record shop , putting OMD's first single on the turntable and we would be hearing Electricity, for the first time.Even better , Paul Humphreys ( keyboards ) attended my school,Hilbre Secondary ,and be one of the most successful pupils along with Chris Boardman ( Olympic cyclist) and Daniel Craig ( James Bond 007) so proud that all of these guys made it and found fame and fortune.
Martin Cooper only lived up the hill next to Candy Grammar School in the little sandstone cottage he’s moved now to Greasby .still living on the Wirral , Mal now lives in Germany last I heard,but not very well at the moment. Probably still drumming. 👍🇬🇧

Soms houses are fine, but it is very annoying wonen people around you having a conversation about anuthing but music. I want to listen to music and not to a conversation about what's so ever.
I totally agree but how can you find fault with anyone who apologizes? Anyway it wasn't for very long. I shot him one calm look and then I think he quieted down. I think he was glad to find his friends in the crowd.

I have always loved O M D. BUT................They don't perform live! Its all backing tracks!!! They used be live, and they were very excelent! I felt cheated the last time I attended their gig in Gateshead Sage. Keep music live!
@@dominicaaaaa5547 Sounds like someone who's completely unfamiliar with this band. Really it could be a whole lot worse... one has never heard truly bad musicians if they really think this is bad. I'm not that familiar with this band either as I wasn't raised on this kind of music and only recently started listening to it, but I wouldn't say it's bad.
Been a fan of OMD for over 40 years now and these guys just get better. How Andy still has all this energy i,ll never know. Best group ever.
In the interview from W Festival Paul said that Andy sleeps all day. That's how he has the energy.
