- Today's the day that we finally give my E60 550i a full detail, restore the headlights, (try to) install LED bulbs, and new windshield wipers! These are just some simple mods that you can do at home to make your BMW feel new again, and really freshen up the look!

You should do a dedicated video to performance upgrades/mods for this n62 engine since there's not a lot of content of this on TH-cam. The n54 gets all the love😅

I just put new headlights and grill on my e60 2010 535i. I get so many compliments now it looks dope

Especially some swap projects are really fun to watch. Just a suggestion. I do think you should keep your repairing content, but having some project car - would be really cool.
Thanks for the feedback, I totally agree! This car will be gone soon, and then we can focus on the 335i wagon, but after that, some more "old-school" builds will be coming to the channel! I prefer the older cars, and hopefully with the channel being monetized, I can focus on the builds and videos instead of flipping cars for profit.

I'm no expert by no means, but I think you should try to see if you can partner up with some companies for parts. Another suggestion, I think you should ask your viewers for the type of cars and content they want to see. I think people generally like to watch entertaining content, or mostly relatable content. For me personally, e60 isn't so relatable or entertaining at this point. I also really like to see you try mastering different skills like painting and polishing. @@TheBimmerBarn question I’m considering getting into the e60 game but in my area I’m only mostly seeing 04 530i for sale is this still a good buy? One said it has electrical issues like the windows can’t go down and the other was maintained but there both in the 190k miles area
@@royaljmedia1342 I think that's the m54 motor which is well supported and reliable to my standards. A little low on power but very economical, and with today's gas prices it's probably the best option 😭 good luck!

how often do you need to swap wiper blades? i replace them every spring and late fall. the ice up here just kills blades over the winter
Down here its the heat and leaves that fails the blade, but I think you can stretch the service interval if you're parking inside.
Have you redone your exhaust?
I have the same model 2008 550i. I need the valve stems job, I’m smoking on a long idle at take off, I get puff of smoke after, it goes away, only does it when it’s on idle for a long period o time. Do you know some who can do that job
Before you tackle the valve stem seals try doing an engine flush, changing your oil to 0w40 full synthetic and adding in a full bottle of atp at-205 re-seal,
If they’re not too far gone this will bring them back. It worked for mine with 280,000 kms.
It’s also worked for a friends Mitsubishi 3000gto.
Worth a shot before spending 3k+

Literally trying to make my bmw look just like this.
I never touch my bumper to remove headlights.
And those angel eyes are not for pre LCI E60 but for LCI wich uses H7 angel eyes
Is he right tho the angel eyes are from the running day lights or is it a different bulb? cus I’ve had the parking light malfunction warning on my car for a while now is that the angel eyes? it’s so confusing lol
