That bluish people color is pretty nice as well, but the satin finish imo is a misstep - the car looks plastic. The same thing in gloss would’ve been nice. Beautiful love all around though.

It's heartwarming for me. I drove one of these for 14(!) years and 300000km/ 186000 miles before i sold it. It is one of the most amazing and smooth running engines ever build and i had no big damages in all these years ( Only the doorhandle, a sensor for 10 bugs, the waterpump and 2 small parts of the axle suspension)
If you look for an reliable car and motor.... buy it!!

I was watching your vids for a bit recently, but this one really got me. You remind me a lot of my boss at the PC tech and repair shop I work at, I got hooked up about 2 years ago with some nice stuff for a setup to start doing livestreams from my boss with stuff from our shop, stuff that would've run me at least 3-4k easily, even though we were doing kinda rough profit wise. Anytime I need an upgrade he's got my back, and any repairs I need for my PC or setup in general I've got the parts. I love seeing stuff like this, you're a hella good dude, and I know Jared and his wife are hella appreciative of you.

That's true... but these *German cars from the last 20+ years are nothing but money pits.* That's just my honest opinion... and it's an opinion based on personal experience.
In other words, anyone that gifts you a German car from the last 20 or so years or newer... well, of course say "Thanks very much!"... but immediately start planning a way to sell the car w/out hurting their feelings.
And BTW, my little rant here is not based on any hatred of Germans themselves... it's just that they make the most cars that require the owners to keep lots of money on hand for the extremely expensive repairs that are guaranteed to eventually occur. FACTS.
@@andyroid5028 I've never had an expensive bill on a BMW because mine are well maintained. I've currently got a BMW and GM built car, and it's the GM car that's refusing to start. Never had a BMW that's refused to start and I've had a few of them now.
@@andyroid5028 It all depends on the car you can't say an example is VW yes it's not the best quality of a car but the service cost is really low if you do it yourself.

There is nothing, and i mean nothing, more fullfilling than giving something to someone out of the goodness of your heart. Personally, as a worker for lidl here in germany, when i overhear that some kid for example isnt getting something we have on the special offers, because i realize that the parents arent well off(not that i am as well), but to see the joy of their children and the gratitude of their parents, makes me always want to cry. Not to mention i sometimes also pay their groceries, if need be, or simply let it go and i have to hear from my boss as to why my register has less money than it should.
Its not much and happens very seldom, but its what makes me happy.
