Beautiful kata. Those who can't respect another martial artist for the style they study and/or perform can't call themselves a true martial artist. OSU!
this has inspired me to learn karate, of course this may just be because im drunk; however this look amazing and i would gladly spend over 5 years to get anywhere close to this level.
Hi, Blob ;-) I'm sorry for the bunch of junk comments you got previously. I recommend you to follow this inspiration and get your subscription and attend a martial arts school. You will reach the level you are only dreaming about, and will be genuinely and legitimately proud of your progression, of your self and of having won your first huge fight : sending alcool to where it deserves to go : the toilets. Your life will progressively transform as you discover you can actually do many good things and overcome many situations by yourself. So many times, the only things we miss is some knowledge and the benevolence of good people that will share regardless of your actual dependency. And guess what ? You'll progressively get rid of it !
They’re speed is amazing they are so agile and it is so fascinating to learn and watch. As a student myself I can only hope of becoming great like these three
This was very nicely performed. I didn't feel it was harmonized as much as it was synchronized, but very solid for 3rd dans. Makes me want to dust off my kata again.
Good demonstration I like it simple and practical it's very useful when you are in a situation where there is no escape because if you don't have anymore choice then go right ahead and used your karate 100%
I don't know if you have enough vision to understand, but once i didn't understand too. Picking up some out of the many things katas teaches: proper technique form, ritm and force application.
❤️🇵🇰❤️ Pakistan :- Wow this performance was masterclass. The best synchrone and best Katas. 😮 I wish the boys very very good luck 👍🏻. This sport is the pride of Japan 🇯🇵. You did in the best way and respect ✊. Long live the nation of Japan 🇯🇵.
One could argue with the same line of reasoning that Okinawan Karate isn't the real "karate" either, rather the Chinese Quan Fa is.. Then somebody else could invoke the myth of Bodhidharma and claim that all Chinese Quan Fa is not the real "Quan Fa" rather some lost Indian Art is. The reality is all arts adapt and personally I would advise all martial artists to study the roots of their art but also to look at practical contemporary applications. Osu!
I agree. My rank is in Shotokan, but since I have studied some about Okinawan styles, I understand where the kata come from. It also gave me ideas about how to reinterpret the kata techniques. One move can have multiple applications.
I know of kata application. I'm a great advocate of it, what I'm trying to say if that these Kata's have been performed for pure spectacle and demonstration. An example would be the great wait between techniques that isn't necessary. Compare this to the Unsu of Master Nakayama - taught by the founder of this style and you will understand my point. It's still great and I respect them, I'm just trying to say that their performance isn't really truely combative but rather flashy. Still great.
Funakoshi was the founder of Shotokan, but Nakayama may have had something to do with the formation of Unsu -- Shoto wasn't too in love with the mawashi-geri (roundhouse kick) and it was never in any of the kata he practiced, but Nakayama loved it. I've heard that Shoto never used any kicks but mae-geri and yoko-geri, but incorporated the crescent kick after Nakayama went to China in 1939, where he picked it up from a Chinese master.
Execution was held, it was exciting to watch... more cameras for editing would have done this a great example for a teaching tool... no slow motion needed for a beginner to get the idea of how strong execution could perform in this capacity.. even though this is choreographed.. sloppy and strong execution will impact the enemy differently.... good job and thank you...
¿ por que en los campeonatos de Kumite, no se emplea estos estilos de pelea realmente? Que maravilla que observo en estas exhibiciones de pelear, pero en los Kumites no se observa nada de nada esa aplicacion que veo.
Yes it's in amazing sync and is clearly very popular but, for me anyway, it's too posed, with too many unnatural pauses. Thereby lacking the fluidity of the older Shotokan team kata from days gone by.
Beautiful kata.

you cant get this lvl in only 5 Years, but keep the spirit and train every singel day! cheers
In 5 years you will only reach 1st dan and 3rd dan will take another 4-5 years. If you train regularly, that is.

@HelloHow UDoing Except karatekas don't know how to punch. And even a boxer can withstand some kicks before he bashes some heads open.

They pause so people can get photos. It's supposed to be synch karate, for entertainment as well as demonstration.
vous metrisez votre discipline I love these video and japan men
Budakan fighter will not die
I wish I could continue learning. There are no dojos in my country and the only karate they teach is more for show than for self defense
Haha.. Real street battle is like this?? Does anybody keep waiting like this after one by one???
wow... just.... wow....

Yeah, really nice, hunh?

san dan means something in Japan
...sandan = three levels/ third level/ third degree
what I meant is that 3rd dan means instructor level in Japan - know all the katas and can teach with quality
rmazelsky it means 3 degree black belt 3rd dan
