    Thank you very informative. Using the wheel bolts to secure the rotor in place saved me a heap of time trying to figure out why the caliper mount was rubbing on the disc!

    Cheers for the demo mate, i'm about to change the front rotors on my VZ SV8, it always helps to see it done before trying it yourself.

    G:day would the rotor removal, installation work with a VX? Thanks mate

      Yes I can't see why not

    My passenger side front wheel shakes bad when driving at 80ks and breaking. Would it be the rotor or the rim? It's really really annoying. The steering wheel shakes bad

    • @mwoods2062
      @mwoods2062  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it shakes when you're not braking it's the wheel. If it only shakes when you brake it's the rotor.

    • @benjaminsoles7940

      @@mwoods2062 both, when I'm drive to get to 80ks it starts shaking at bout 75 but goes away after and then when breaking.

      Then I would say it's the wheel balance

    Hey mate just wondering if you don’t take off the calliper does that mean you don’t need to push back the piston

    • @mwoods2062
      @mwoods2062  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Blake if you don't change the pads you shouldn't have to.

    What would cause the caliper to move a bit and rattle over bumps, even if bolts are tight at back?

    • @mwoods2062
      @mwoods2062  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate is it the caliper or the pads rattling.

    • @mwoods2062
      @mwoods2062  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you put the pads in there are metal inserts that go into the grooves the pads slide into. Maybe yours might be missing

    • @bradleydickson5354
      @bradleydickson5354 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's actually the caliper rattling a bit I grab the caliper and it has movement the pads are new dba and in firm. Club vy said maybe the slide pins worn?

    • @mwoods2062
      @mwoods2062  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe your front rotors warped as well from not cleaning the hubs ? Can cause brake walk if hubs have crud and rust etc on them , maybe not but maybe did haha
