The digs are always epic.. ' Would have been great on our '63 all original Willy's back in the day, Even though it would go through the SW Colorado mountains where guys would refuse to take a horse on horseback etc...
Mikes reference to Ed bass master... Look at it, just look at it😅😅. He never fails in comedy. And I'm super pumped about the new rig. I can't wait for the end result which I'm sure is gonna be awhile. Meaning when he finally rebuilds just about everything to be unstoppable. 😅
Rory I am glad to see Mini Mater is back to full power and you fixed some issues. You are going to have a busy January so you need all the recovery vehicles at full power
Rory wish to hell you would have shown the ZIP tie trick a few months ago damn I got new ones and filled them up with Grease trust me Mike when Rory and Sean said don't do it there is a reason I was drunk for 3 damn days putting mine in and invented swear words along with throwing everything in my shop damn dogs wouldn't even come in for fear of getting hit with something 😂 thanks for the tip
Rory, Your on- camera speaking skills have improved significantly over the past few years. I looked back at an off-road Jeep welding with Trail Mater trail repair video you did with Matt and Jamie when you were out just wheeling with them after being at KOH.In that video you admitted that speaking on-camera was very difficult for you to do at the beginning of your TH-caming career.
It's always evident that you three are good friends. Just by watching most of your video posts in the last several years! Always educational, driving tips, trail education, being considerate about park& B.L.M. rules. Mechanical tips on rigs. As always a great channel!👍
From the Netherlands - yes yes Gods only "flat as a pancake country" - to Rory & Lilli and team Trailmater thanks for all the video's and lesson's you give me/us in 2024. Hope that 2025 bring you all a lot of love and happiness and a lot of Moab and offroad-recovery.
A little bit of rear dig to move about, Perfect. Nice to see Mini-Mater being used & finding all the bugs that need to be looked into. When to missing nut was pointed out I said oops, oh well Stuff happens. Have a good New Years. Thanks for sharing
Looks like I'll have to get a shipping container so spare parts will start collecting inside of it. My garage is overflowing with hand and power tools. If only I have the repair experience as Rory, Shawn and Mike. Thanks for sharing.
You and your friends are fun to watch I like to watch you rescue people up in the mountains that I will never get to see,,I live in Oklahoma God Bless you all and HAPPY New Year
Great job guys and good work all around. Rory, As a past owner of an 07 JK Rubicon 2Dr, That cross member gets beat up pretty bad and you might want to remake it out of something more stout. It was seeing Lilly in the background too. I would like to wish you all a safe a happy New Years.
Never mind just Mike I'll bet Shawn and Rory could tie right into a lot of stories that would make you laugh or keep you glued to the edge of your seat. Thanks Guys great video
I would think mini mator is much less expensive to keep fuel in then those big block full size trucks. You have another really good tool in the box for operation. Repurposed something you had and turned it into a revenue maker.
And don't forget to check the brake fluid level while squeezing calipers, if the resivore happens to be to full it will pressurize the resivore cap open and leak fluid
Taking it on trails finding things needing beefed up or repaired making fixes and repairs making it stronger so when it's needed to do a recovery it will be hopefully more reliable. Good to go.
Me and a very good friend of mine, built a Samurai with an exoskeleton 4.3 GM, 3/4 ton Chevy axles, and reinforced frame! Honestly, that little fellar was a beast!
the more young lily hangs around picking dads addiction for off roading i say its soon time to start hunting for a samurai and parts to build a little "lily-mater" lol
I appreciate your ziptie trick. I used to use a chain and a bottle jack to put those joints together after packing them with grease. Next time, that will save me a lot of agitation. Have a happy New Year, Trail Mader team.
Not a lot of clearance inside those front wheels. Interesting maintenance tips, love the cable tie air relief valve. Thanks guys, hope you all had a great Christmas and Lilli too.
i put hydraulic bump stops on my jku 08 rubicon same color as rorys and they made a huge difference they would probably benefit your rig for towing and winching
Dang it !! Back, when I started watching yur channel (and others like it) because of COVID (I guess), this "mini - mater" was often driven by Sean (Shawn?)........ and it was a favorite of mine!! This thing is very nearly as cool as it's big brother! VERY NICE!!
Mini Mater performs the world slowest burnout. SWEET 😊
The digs are always epic.. ' Would have been great on our '63 all original Willy's back in the day, Even though it would go through the SW Colorado mountains where guys would refuse to take a horse on horseback etc...
Unnecessary rear wheel dig is what they used to call em.
I think RORY wasn't trying to burn out! I think he was planning
" courtesy obligatory rear dig!!!!"

Boy this episode was loaded with cool tricks. That's only one of the reasons I never miss a video. Keep em coming boys!
Totally agree!!
If you watch favorites they already shown that trick thank God
I would have thought they needed to be packed full of grease too.
It said favorites instead of Fab rats freaking hilarious
I like it when you have fun videos in your innuendos.

Who Ramblin Man 😂
I enjoy your videos and all we hear is the discussion and laughter among the three of you. No crappy music and thank you for that.
I bet going and having a beer with Mike would be rather entertaining
Mike, Shawn and Rory are all awesome to have a beer with!!
The only Utah guys you could have a beer with!
@@georgejulien3286 😂🤣 now that's funny.
We were there the week before Rory got married and Mike was manning the merchandise shop and really enjoyed visiting with him!!!!! Great guy.
@clinthorn1443 Yes he is!!
I love watching these fellas build these trucks
The 3 of yous guys make a good team and Awesome Mechanics
New Fabrication Technique: Hammer to Fit, Rust to Match.
Not sure if that's new.
@@drunkchicken8636 15:45 Hammer to fit. 17:15 Rust.. (the classic method described as hammer to fit, >paint< to match)
Can you imagine Rory's surprise that anything could have been bent as careful as he is about staying on roads ? ? 😮
“Roads” is where this observation fails.
It's always evident that you three are good friends. Just by watching most of your video posts in the last several years! Always educational, driving tips, trail education, being considerate about park& B.L.M. rules. Mechanical tips on rigs. As always a great channel!👍
All the work needed to keep the fleet in tip top shape... Thanks for sharing 🙂

Even your regular maintenance is interesting. Your videos help to educate me on what wears out on a Jeep that goes out in the rocks often.
Another great Saturday. Thanks guys
Hey Rory thanks for taking time to share! Feels like family wearing my
trail mater hoodie with you all💚❣️KoH😊 🔨⚒️

Rebuild kits for RCVs are cheap and easy enough to do yourself. The orange cup is the hardest part of it all. 😂
That was really interesting! Thanks for all the tips.
