That is the main thing that aggravates me about the Generation/ Avalir machines. I have had to do a lot of trial and error to get that assembly just right.
+Matt Jones and aggravates me that Kirby just won't slap their name on a windsor SEBO x and sell it door to door. The generation series Kirby's has outlived its welcome
Yeah, you'd think they would change it up by now. I love my Diamond Edition Kirby, but my old Kirby 519 is a LOT easier to use. I completely rebuilt it and modified it to meet today's standards. I upgraded it to using disposable HEPA bags, installed a 4 row roller brush and added wider wheels in the front.
Saw this video and dug the old g4 Out,, this is the problem I’m pretty sure on mine,,, it got out of adjustment and didn’t work correctly,,, that’s why I stoped using it,, there heavy without the tec drive working
I have an Avalir that only powers backwards. When I push forward, it acts like it’s in neutral. How do I adjust it without taking the hole Assembly out?
I would recommend bringing it to your Kirby Service Center or a reputable vacuum shop adjustments of Kirby Transmissions are not the kind of thing that you want to mess with.
Thank you. It’s a pretty new Avalir so I am kinda surprised. Nonetheless, Thanks for your time!

Thanks for demonstrating this. Very helpful 😊
I didn’t even know you could adjust those. Makes sense though. Thanks for the tips man.
My Kirby G10 Sentria did not have the wedge. I ordered one and put it in but why were some G10s missing them?

Thank you for another great video but I was just curious would this cause shakiness when vacuuming if not adjusted right?
Send me a link to a video Showing the shaking you're talking about. Generally it something it's between the yolk and the transmission itself.
@@PerformanceReviews ok thanks man I'll post a video as soon as I get the chance
