      I have a 19 r also. When I drive spirited and hit 8k, I’ll have some oil in the catch can. I was about a quart low after 5k miles. I now use AmsOil and haven’t had any issues. Just checked the oil today with 2.5k miles and haven’t burned any oil. Used 1 paper towel to clean out the passenger catch can. I recommend AmsOil esp for Gen 1 Voodoos

    Great video. It still amazes me how Mustang owners are so sensitive about facts being presented about there car. Had a 2018 GT350 go through two motors and I sold it. Way too many serious issues. Its one of the best sounding motors but it was engineered to shake apart. Ford cut corners as alway.

    This video seems very random. I'll bet I can break down the failure rate for you. Highest rate..2017, with 7115 cars produced. 2nd highest rate, 2016 with 6169 cars produced 3rd highest 2018 with 4378 cars produced, and so on. There were improvements made to the engines across the years but there is no evidence that the percentage of failure is higher or lower across any of the model years. Oil consumption was addressed with new piston and ring packs in 2017 and again in 2018. If you have any information that shows otherwise please let us know.

    • @AutoMotivate

      There were a few post mentioning their 2019 was burning a little bit of oil and same with the 2020. Was it worth mentioning? Maybe not as it was just a few and does not represent the majority. Thank you for pointing that out.

    • @FL50ssp
      @FL50ssp 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @robfarolino3021The primary issue with the vooblew engine is the way ford implemented the FPC concept. They didn't use the same offset as Ferrari, GM, others for their FPC engines. The Ford implementation of FPC causes second order vibrations that are near impossible to control, especially as the revs climb. Which is why some folks have issues and others do not, of course YMMV based on how you drive. But don't take my word for it, do some research on the topic. I did before making a final decision on a new track toy a few years back and passed on the frod fpc experiment.

    You mentioned the transmission cooler line crimp , but then said it would lead to engine failure.
    As far as 2015-2018 Voodoo engines and failure is concerned, there haven't been 8,000 engines that have failed. The majority of failures are engine replacement in the same car, which indicates whom ever is having engine failures is most likely not breaking in the engines properly, and ultimately causing the problem.
    I've done a detailed analysis on numerous claims, and noted that less than 1% of these engines were actually flawed, using readily available information from spread sheets published in numerous forums.
    If you do the homework, you'll see that the majority of people filing complaints are being counted several times, hence the inflated numbers.
