This is amazing, you aren´t just going over Star Citizen lore, you are actually telling it, like one narrating it off a book, proper narration and incredible images to illustrate, i can´t wait for the next chapters.
Really appreciate your hard work here. You present the story in an engaging manner, and are a skilled storyteller. I really hope to see more of this series in the future.
Loved the bit about the Life/Labor contracts set up by the Hurstons, never seen someone bring it up before but it has stuck with me ever since I first read it. Great video.
At 26:15, you said Crusader Dynamics instead of Hurston Dynamics. Is that a mistake, or did I forget something in the history of Crusader and Hurston Dynamics?
actually ''terra nova'' ''terra'' as other terms r from portuguese, a close brother inbetween spanish and italian, ofc 3 of thm all are Latin Kids, in latin it would be ''nova terra'' i guess cs latin is much related with religious archetypes. spanish as much as italian would also be similar to the latin/portuguese spelling/writing, ''nueva terra'' and ''terra nuova'' respectively. Great choices. GREAT VIDEO. amazing your deep details and story telling capability.
Man, I love the lore. I have a few questions though, do the 100 star systems are the only 'known' one? Whatever happened with telescopic data? are these systems only in the Milky Way? Are there any systems that was previously discovered by looking at telescopes and are now physically explored? Are they now obsolete after the discovery of Jump Points and Quantum Drive?
It would be nice to know the approximate size of the systems mentioned, since so many are used to Stanton, as it is one of the smallest systems in the game. IMO it is valuable information, that adds depth to the subject and viability of planning our future home systems. In doing so helps in deciding, what Ships might be able to traverse the routes needed and accomplish our goals.
The relative sizes and positions are available from the not-so-secret publicly-available API that connects to the Ark Star Map, but as Paul said, it’s very much subject to change, as has (disappointedly) already happened with Pyro. Nonetheless, it’s a fun dataset to play and theorycraft with.
I hope once CIG is done with tech and the game is more out they have massive Stories and videos of story's in the PU with cutscenes and such better then any movie and tv show out now
Greetings from Hawaii. I know the elf is going to like this, so 👍 given and Thank you for sharing, Historian Paul,,,🏝️ now to be versed in history of the verse 🤪🪐
Mr. Historian, could it be possible you messed up the videos audio a bit? It keeps making my subwoofer peak at the weirdest of moments, not even requiring any strong bass or sharp pronunciations.
your character almost looks like you - HAAA! maybe they will have an AI to take your face and convert it to the game - someday - thanks for the lore - all your hard work will payoff when the game is released - something we all could look back on - like wiki on the internet
So, bit of feedback- I watch your videos on my second screen while doing other work, and the 'thump' sound you play every single time you mention a keyword is *extremely* distracting to the point of frustration, especially when you drop several keywords in a row. Other than that, great video
Honestly the devs should make a npc Paul in game and if you can find him and sit next to him he will start telling you lore around a bon fire.
As a new citizen, I find this series incredibly useful. Thank you very much for your hard work.

These are GOD tier and I look forward to them more than I do any show or movie. So inspiring
16:10 hey could be both as a "I told you I wasn't seeing things! So I'mma name it after you just to screw with you!"
You have presented so much more lore than I could find from CIG, this is amazing!
Amazing work Paul!!!! Thank you for all the great videos.
At 26:15, you said Crusader Dynamics instead of Hurston Dynamics. Is that a mistake, or did I forget something in the history of Crusader and Hurston Dynamics?
Misspoke for sure, Paul after saying that talked about arial hurston
Loving the Duck honks throughout the video - really wake you up and keep you listening to the information. Novel idea!
This series is one that I like to revisit every so often. Great presentation of information. can't wait for the next one!
Love this series. Can't wait for the next one. Thank you Paul!
I recently binged all four episodes and this is amazing!

Love your storytelling Paul, you have a real talent for history telling. Great stuff.
Absolutely LOVE your stuff. Been waiting patiently to see this! Super excited to get into it.
Great job, Paul.
26:18 You mean Hurston Dynamics, not Crusader Dynamics.
Man, I love the lore. I have a few questions though, do the 100 star systems are the only 'known' one? Whatever happened with telescopic data? are these systems only in the Milky Way? Oh yes!!! It's finally here!
I binged listened to all of the episodes! I swear cig should hire you as a narrator for the lore of the verse
Saving this for my drive to work tomorrow.
I love these so much. Been waiting for you to do another one ❤❤❤.
Paul's presentation of game lore is better than CIGs.
Better than an audiobook
Amazing as always. Thanks
Gonna listen to this at work tomorrow \o/
Thank you Paul!
Thank you for these videos!
Realy great videos man, i'll wait for the next update
Using the new character creator for character heads is awesome
My new favourite Yt Channel.
Great job!
Amazing work appreciate you 🙏
26:15 im guessing you meant hurston dynamics and not crusader dynamics
Yes
Thanks Paul!!
LOVE these videos!
Loving the series!
It's finally here

I used to do that but the size is super changeable by CIG, see Pyro, so I am not adding those distances
The relative sizes and positions are available from the not-so-secret publicly-available API that connects to the Ark Star Map, but as Paul said, it’s very much subject to change, as has (disappointedly) already happened with Pyro. Nonetheless, it’s a fun dataset to play and theorycraft with.
Finally. Let's gooooo!
You sir.. are a scholar and a gentlemen 😊
This is excelent... thanks!
epic work !!!
Thx for your quality content 👍🏻👌🏻
I. Appreciate. You.
I do love these! While important, I would like to hear less "system and planet 1-5 was found" and more about the peoples and corporations actions
I hope once CIG is done with tech and the game is more out they have massive Stories and videos of story's in the PU with cutscenes and such better then any movie and tv show out now
These are so fkin good tysm.
Very cool
Greetings from Hawaii. I know the elf is going to like this, so 👍 given and Thank you for sharing, Historian Paul,,,🏝️ now to be versed in history of the verse 🤪🪐
Is there a part 5?
For the Algorithmn ❤ go Paul- you're the best.
26:13 CrusaderDynamics?
Cool
Hell yeah.
Will there be more?
Yes
So this Playlist says 5 videos, but I can only see 4. Is there a fifth installment?
One is a short
Is there a part 5 coming?
Yes, next month
@ YIPEEE
@@TheAstroHistoriancan't wait! Binged the entire series again at work today, thanks for making labor under the Hurston's more enjoyable :)
LETS GOOO
Finally
What's with the new thumping sound for every new thing introduced? Great video as always but still really irritating
Mr. Historian, could it be possible you messed up the videos audio a bit?
It keeps making my subwoofer peak at the weirdest of moments, not even requiring any strong bass or sharp pronunciations.
Crusader Dynamics sounds like a dope company😂😂!! Keep up the work brotha! Love the content and all the work u put into! It is beyond appreciated 💪🏾💪🏾
i hope they make all of the gas giants more realistic and have a lot of moons like our gas giants have
Cant wait (also first)
your character almost looks like you - HAAA! maybe they will have an AI to take your face and convert it to the game - someday - thanks for the lore - all your hard work will payoff when the game is released - something we all could look back on - like wiki on the internet
lol, the ending got cut off just slightly.
Ex historia, ad ass.
No, entirely intended, I am an ass man
So, bit of feedback- I watch your videos on my second screen while doing other work, and the 'thump' sound you play every single time you mention a keyword is *extremely* distracting to the point of frustration, especially when you drop several keywords in a row. Other than that, great video
Meanwhile, I find the sound super helpful for that exact scenario.
I really wanted to like this video but 30 minutes of the same song on loop drove me nuts!!!!
What?
So I don't know what you mean by Oxygen based atmosphere. Earth has an atmosphere of 78% nitrogen and 20% oxygen. Any more oxygen and we would die.
You know what I meant but thanks for letting the inner glasses push up get you to comment.
@@TheAstroHistorian hehe
The history of star citizen is just a bunch of companies lmao ??
What?
Kind of, yeah, and the entities that arise to fight their unending pursuit of profits over their people's lives
The vine booms are extremely annoying.
The thumping is super distracting I couldn’t actually finish the video sorry
